He moves toward me. “Flowing better, Falcon?”
“Yeah, Boss. The Teams corralled them and drove them back out. We’re almost clear.”
“Boss, we shut down Mexico’s Clubs.” Web is excited.
“Who?” Cort is confused. I smile watching the Enforcers chase down the last Bastard that was shooting in the street the old man was on.
“VP asked me to shut them down. Jordan got everyone working and we shut down the two Clubs from Mexico. One is on fire.”
Clearing my Teams, I look at Falcon. “The PD asked for help with traffic, can you get them back to where PD is set up?”
“On it, Falcon.” I send the Teams to help, hoping the cop isn’t dead.
“Boss, we’re clear,” Jinx says.
“Good job, Brothers. Keep everyone locked down until surveillance shows clear screens for at least a half-hour. Get the trainees to help cleanup. They’re driving one-percenter...No. Get me a truck. Load the bodies in it and have it pick up from the city then unload an exit from their useless fucking Club.”
“Roger, Boss.” Jinx looks at Brinks. “A box truck big enough for us and the city bodies.”
“Got it.” Brinks looks at Cort. “Bikes?”
“Fuck, we need a junkyard.”
Banks walks toward him. “I can do that. We have land outside of town that will be perfect. We could do online and ship parts...”
Cort puts his hand up, smiling. “Just do it, Brother.”
Banks goes right to Brinks making me laugh. Fucking Banks and the businesses. I guess we’re into parts now.
“Teams Three and Four on PD’s six. On the side, Ops,” my Team Lead tells me.
“Roger, Team Three Lead. Colorado Ops, switching Enforcer Three and Four to you.”
Hal rogers me adding them into their Ops lineup. “You’re clear, Phoenix Ops.”
“Good job, Hal, thanks for keeping us clear.”
“I’m glad you were here, Phoenix. Colorado Main out.”
I see Clem glaring at Hal and think he’s the only one that’s happy we were there.
Falcon hasn’t cleared his Teams, but he throws me chin, he’s good where he is.
I stand beside Cort by Web’s station. He has three computers and moves from one to the other while watching the screens. I turn back to the room feeds.“Clem has issues with us running there. Taking the room will add to that.”
“Yeah.” He doesn’t say anymore. “IT, I need where the order came from and who the fuck planned to take us all down together.”
“We got it, Boss. They had help. Calls and texts from Missouri.” Web moves to the second keyboard and starts typing. He clicks and the screen shows texts and phone logs sequences.
“Needle? Fucking Badass did this?” He leans against the station, the color drained from his face. With a deep breath, he closes his eyes. When he opens them, I see that rage burning in them. Fuck.“Get me Jordan on a computer, hook Major and Maverick in, but I’m talking to Jordan. And make sure this information gets to them all.”
“Roger, Boss. They have it, but I’ll add it so it shows in their Ops room on our screen. Jordan is on.” He moves to his normal spot and watches with his hands still typing. That’s fucking weird.
Cort sits. I stand close feeling how pissed he is, then move to the other side and put my hand on his arm. He closes his eyes and breathes deep. The icon at the bottom says Major is on, but we don’t see him.
Jordan slides into view like he rolled there. “Cort. This is fucked up. I was going to talk to Major and get Badass to clean it, but I wanted to talk to you first. You have a threat in your Center if you still have his Brothers in training.”
“They left Friday. We didn’t take the apps he sent for a second group. Am I under threat from Piston and the other Badass Clubs?”
