“Where are we talkingabout?”

“A place that affects you a greatdeal, middle Oregon. This information is for you and your mateonly.”

“We understand that. Will we bedealing with a white wolf?”Duroc asked.

“No, none of them have a claim in thepack.Let’s wait and see what happens, okay?”

“I suppose there is no choice andthere is no guarantee your plan will come together. What is yoursuccess rate so far?”

Damon grinned.“One hundredpercent.”

“We’ll be waiting.Any ideas aboutwhat we should have available for them?”

“Sure.Money, people, supplies, andgood advice.”

Their company stayed for another daythen they were gone.Life would get back to the way it was untilthe next pack had a takeover.

Epilogue

Back in Alaska, business was booming.Tyne was opening another officeoffice, and the field manager wasReid. He wasn’t sure why Tyne had picked him with so many good, well trained personnel already available.Wilde just down the roadfrom the small community that was within throwing distance ofAnchorage. This would eventually be one of his main offices, especially as far as Alaska was concerned.

He'd just met Duroc and Bindi whenhe’d arrived and had wondered why they’d left but had heard theywere now the alpha pair in a large and now prosperous pack.Anotherone of Tyne’s best guys discovered his long lost father was a packalpha in that same part of the country.Maybe it was something inthe water?

Reid looked at his partner as shejoined him atin the truck.Olivia was hot!The downside was she wassecretive and never wanted to give out any personal information. There was a haunted look in her eyes that said she’d been throughhell and fought her way back.Even though he was drawn to her, hewasn’t sure he could handle all her baggage.

But what would he do if she began todate someone else and why didn’t he have any interest in the otherfemales around here? There were several beautiful ones. But nonewere like Olivia. She was beautiful and smart.

Back inOregon….

The pack was doing well, and theirrelationship was inon track.Damon had been excited last time hespoke to him telling him the next challenge was in theworks.

“You’re quiet.Something Damon said?”Bindi asked.

“That and someone forgot to tell methey owned some land on the lake near Ariel.”

“What, do you think it’s a place toescape you?I’ve been a bit busy you know.”

“You’re right. While we’re talkingabout things we’ve not previously discussed, when I was fighting Aland the other wolf jumped in, I felt a surge of power./ Knowanything about that?”

“Nothing I can be sure of.I wished Icould send power your way and then you seemed to have things takencare of.Ariel told me that gold wolvesf’s were said to be able tosend energy to others. They also might have telling dreams and beable to tell if someone is lying. There might be other things.Shethought those things might lead to the fact they are usuallysuccessful at whatever they do.”

“You’re telling me you do havepowers?”Duroc asked.

“According to Aunt Daisy, white, red, gold, and silver all have some kind of abilities.Black of courseis always alpha.”

“Do you think silver will turn upeventually?”

“I suspect it may.No one noticed thecolor so it may have been overlooked as gray especially if it’s ina mix of other colors.”Bindi speculated.“There’s something Iwanted to ask you.Do you want to be a dad?”

“What?Of course, I want to be adad.”

“You can’t imagine how happy I am tohear that.”

“Are you saying you are expecting?”Duroc asked.

“I thought wolves had a better senseof smell.”

He pulled her into his arms andbreathed deeply. The sweet scent of new life was there mixed inwith her own wonderful aroma.

“We’ll be so happy.I promise we’ll bea perfect little family.”

All his dreams had been fulfilled andall his her dreams had now been fulfilled.
