“I’m with Wolf security andI have a customer who has collapsed and needs an ambulance rightaway.Her pulse is thready and her breathing shallow.”

“We’ll send one rightaway.”

They both hung up.“Do you know whoyour mommy calls when she needs help?”

“Daddy’s at work.Sheusually calls Aunty Beth.”

“Do you know if she hasthat number somewhere?”

“No, but Ariel mighthelp.”

“That’s great.I’ll callAriel.”Bindi said and she called right away.

“Ariel.”

“Ariel, this is Bindi.Ihad a call out and the mother is ill, and the little boy says youare the one to call.What’s your name, Sweetie?”

“Joey.”

“Did you hear?”

“I did.Someone will bethere in thirty minutes.It will be alright.”Arielassured.

They sat down on the couch.“Don’tworry Joey.Everyone is on the way.”

The ambulance arrived first.Theyloaded the lady up.“Where are you taking her?”Bindiasked.

“There’s a small hospitaljust down the road.Ariel called and redirected us.”

“Okay.Thankyou.”

They had just left when a guy came.“I’m Jack.Hey, Joey.”

“Hey, Jack.”

“Where’s hegoing?”

“You’re taking him toAriel’s with you.I’m getting in touch with her husband and lockingup the house.”Jack said.

“Thank you.Are you readyto go see Ariel, Joey?”

“Sure.”He grinned.It wasa great place for kids.

Bindi took him to the truck and set himin the passenger seat.She fastened the seat belt and closed hisdoor.Now she got in and they headed to Ariel’s.When she arrived,Ariel was waiting.She gave Joey a hug.

“Your mommy will be justfine.Bindi, you did good.”

Bindi sighed with relief.She went toher room and got ready for bed.The radio was setup next to her bedand then she fell into bed asleep almost instantly.Morning wouldcome too soon.She’d known it would.Her alarm was annoying, thebetter to wake her with.

Breakfast was wonderful as usual atAriel’s.She hurried to see Moe who would want a report on lastnight.“Hey, Moe.”

“I heard you had a busynight.”

Duroc was already there, and he brokein.“What happened?”

“Bindi had a call out.Shebroke in and saved the client’s life.”

“Why didn’t you call me?”Duroc asked.
