“Maybe Tramp’s dad will have asuggestion.Tramp is here, isn’t he?”Bindi wondered.
“Yes, maybe he can suggest someone orsomething.”
That decidedwas decided, and theywould wait for Duroc to come before they ask him to do this.“Whatnow?”
“We have this list of things that mustbe done.Let’s see if Harry is done and feed her then move on.”Marissa observed.
When they arrived, Harry had a groupof toads around her.“What happened?”Bindi askedhorrified.
“These aren’t your guys.They thoughtI was a white wolf and wanted to kidnap me.”Harryexplained.
“Change one back so we can questionhim.”Bindi asked.
In a flash the guy washuman.
“What are you doing here?”
“I was sent to get the white wolf.Noone said anything about witches.”
“They won’t tell you that.Who woulddo the job if they knew?Who hired you?”Bindi asked.
“I can’t tell you that.”
“I understand.You’d rather stay atoad.”
“No, he said his name was Leafer.Inever saw him before, and I’ll never see him again.”
“You know what’s funny?”
“No, what?”He lookedsuspicious.
“The new alpha bitch isn’t a whitewolf.She’s just friends with a few.”
“Damn it all to hell.”
“If we let you go, will you leave andnever go after a female again?”
“Yeah.I’ve had enough of thislife.”
“How many wolves came withyou?”
“Eight.Why?”
“I only see six toads.Go ahead and gobefore I change my mind.”Bindi said.
The guy took off running while Bindifound the other toad.“What are we going to do with the rest ofthem?”
“Hey, I found another toad!”Marissaexclaimed.
“Turn this one.”
Harry did and it was one of heradmirers.He took off desperate to get away from her now.“He’ll beback.”Harry assured.
“Now this one.”
He changed back instantly.“Whathappened.”
