Story: Tempted By Poison
Chapter 38
Anita

Now you've made itmagnificent.
Those words fill my entire soul like floating atop a lake with no worries in the world. He says I've made magnificent, but it's how he's made mefeel.
I spin around so I can look at him again. He’s beautiful tonight, in his all-black tuxedo that fits his built frame like it was constructed all for him. The dark strands of his wavy hair aren't falling in front of his face but pushed back and free. I can see all his dangerous features, those possessive golden eyes that make my belly swirl.
He’s mine. All mine. That feels so good to say.
My mouth goes dry because he's staring at me like he's ready to chew me alive.
“I have your gift.” I turn and grab the gift I got for him off the dinner table, too. My heart begins to beat faster, and my pulse speeds up an extra notch. I never gave someone a present before.
Pull yourself together; it's not a nuclear bomb.
I lick over my lips and twist back around, my arm extends out to him. “For you. I thought you would like it.”
Ronan tilts his head to the box and back at me with a low grin rising his lip. “Show me.”
I step closer, untying the bow and lifting the lid to the rectangular box. Inside is a special, custom-made silver dagger with the letter P engraved on the hilt and a lion dripping poison from its fur carved intricately surrounding it.
It's a matching set to my dagger.
I glance back at him and his brows furrowed slightly with surprise. Without saying anything, he raises his hand and smooths his thumb onto the handle before wrapping his fingers around and lifting it from its container.
I smile. “It looks good on you.”
He grins at me with a mischievous glint to his eyes, then looks back in the box, and I smile brighter. “What's this?”
“A little addition to make things a bit more fun.” I lift the small tube with the cork sealed on top and put the box back down on the table. I swirl my hand as light fluorescent green ooze floats and sways in the bottle. Datura Poison and a mixture of other sweet things.
“Whenever it's time to use it...” I tilt it and motion my hand slowly down the blade with my gaze pinned on him. “You apply it then—” I snatch the blade from his grip with a speed that I've been trained for, and I hold the sharp end of it to his neck with a devious grin on my lips. “Watch as the poison infects their souls.”
Ronan doesn't falter back, he doesn't even wince. Only his eyes deepen with a darkness I've never seen, and my stomach flips in a dangerous twist that drops between my thighs. My breath quickens, and I can see his chest rise and fall under my arm.
I glance at his lips, entranced by the scar that I enjoy licking and kissing, the way his mouth feels on me when he’s tasting my skin and relishing in my body like I’m his addiction. Next, I'm raising the knife to those lips, and I trace the outline of them.
“Stunning,” I whisper.
His mouth parts as I bring the blade to the front of his mouth, and he extends his tongue, swiping it right on the sharp edge. I gasp. He purposely cuts himself and blood oozes from the slice. My pupils dilate as I watch the crimson leak, ready to spill.
As quick as I was, he grabs a chunk of my hair and jerks my head closer to him. I gasp again in shock, the knife now near my lips.
“Taste it,” he demands.
Taste his blood again?I wait to feel repulsed by it, only my pussy throbs in response, and my heart jumps up and down in excitement, clapping at his insane command. Is it a traitor or am I completely consumed by this man?
Still, I find myself lowering his blade and my tongue extending toward him. The growing pulse between my thighs heightens, and the pumping in my chest speeds up. And when my tongue meets his, my entire body explodes.
