Story: Tainted Bride
"Aashi is a child; you are not a child; it's as if you can't comprehend that her health deteriorates as soon as she consumes ice cream, and if her health deteriorates, then whatever surprise you have in store for her will also deteriorate. Just keep this thing in mind.”
This is the first time that Avishka has said so much to Prakram because of Aashi, due to which he is just looking at her. She immediately turns towards Aashi and tells her.
"It is very cold here, and if you eat ice cream, you will fall ill. When we go to India, Mumma will make ice cream herself only for you, and you will not get just one; you will get many."
Aashi becomes happy by clapping after listening to Avishka, and Prakram starts looking at Aashi, who understands Avishka's words very easily and her insistence. After a wonderful evening, they return to the cottage. After putting on her nightdress, Aashi is frolicking around and engaging in intense play. Prakram and Avishka are standing at different ends of the bed, pretending to catch her, which is causing Aashi to feel very happy and enjoying herself. But in the end, Prakram holds her and makes her sleep on his chest, due to which Avishka starts looking at both of them smilingly. Aashi places her index finger on Prakram's heart and tells Avishka.
"Mumma, just play. Does it fly? ..."
Smiling, Avishka sits near Aashi and starts smiling while playing with Aashi by placing her index finger on Prakram's heart. After some time, Aashi starts feeling sleepy, and Prakram is also a little tired, so when he starts sleeping, he tells Avishka.
"Sleep..."
"You guys go to sleep; I want to sit in the garden for a while."
"At this time..."
"Hmmm… You have said that I should give the list to the maids to pack all the necessary things for 2 days, but I could not work for the whole day because today I was playing the whole day with her, so it was necessary to take care of it now. She's sleeping near you, so I can do it comfortably."
"Hmm..."
Avishka quickly leaves from there with pen and paper, comes to the garden, and starts doing her work.
"Sister-in law..."
As soon as Avishka hears Armaan's voice, she turns around and sees that he is standing with a water bottle in his hand. Although he might have come to fill the bottle, seeing Avishka there, he comes near her.
"What are you doing here?"
"Your sir had told me to pack my things for 2 days and make a list accordingly so that I don't need anything else, but I didn't get time, so I am making it now."
"Okay...
Armaan sits beside her very comfortably and starts checking her list. Upon reviewing the list, Armaan informs Avishka that she has also included a few items for Prakram, a revelation that undoubtedly brings him immense satisfaction. He quickly says:.
"For the last 3 years, I have not seen Sir as pleased as he is now.”
Avishka starts looking at him after listening to him, and somewhere she also wants to know about Divya, about whom no one talks because it is Prakram, and Aashi, who wants to forget her because she can't ask anything of Prakram. She just says randomly... "
"His first wife was much more lucky.'
"She was very lucky because Prakram Sir trusted her a lot, and that's why he ignored everything even when he saw it going wrong, leading to the biggest betrayal of his life."
"…Means"
"No one knows; only I and Sir know that Divya, his first wife, did not die while giving birth to Aashi.”
"What? So how did Aashi's mother die?"
"Sir had killed her.”
CHAPTER 46
“Sir had killed her.”
Avishka's eyes suddenly remain fixed only on Armaan. He comfortably sits next to her on the stairs, gazing around and at the moon. He can still feel Avishka's eyes on him, he says.
"There are always strange rules and regulations in a mafia family; they have to be very cruel; they do not have to think much about anyone; nor should they understand anything other than their own benefit, but Digvijay Sir was a little different; he liked to think about his own benefit as well as the benefit of others; he neither killed anyone unnecessarily nor did he like to do so; and especially after the arrival of Sandhya Mam in his life, he has lived his life very happily, as he says, because in a mafia family, there are very few moments of happiness because there is always a danger to life."
