Story: Tainted Bride
Avishka turns to look at Rajeev, whom the people are holding very tightly, but they are not turning their backs on him; instead, they are beating Avishka in front of him while Rajeev is just shouting to save her.
"Aviiiii... Leave her."
CHAPTER 79
It has been 3 days now, and Avishka is still in the hospital, and she is unable to come to terms with the fact that the child with whom the entire family was ecstatic has suddenly been snatched away from her in a very barbaric manner. Rajeev is trying his best to handle her, and Reema is in very bad condition due to crying. Sanjeev is also sitting nearby and telling them everything.
"Those people have been caught by the police, and they have given a statement that the company for which we had a fight with another company a few days ago, the same people, had sent them to harm Rajeev. Avishka went through so much trouble, as they wanted to harm Rajeev. Those people will have to sufferthe consequences of this. We will not let those people escape so easily."
Advait, who had been silent for two to three days, looks at Sanjeev and speaks to him.
"Don't mind what I say, the big accident happened, but your wife, Saloni, did not come even once to meet Avishka in the hospital."
Avishka also pays attention to Advait's words very well. Sanjeev looks at Advait, sees his mother Rekha sitting in front, and then answers him very comfortably.
"Saloni is very sad due to this accident because she was the one who was most happy about Avishka's pregnancy because, due to some medical condition, she can never become a mother, so she was very happy after listening to the news. Even though Avishka has lost her child, Saloni has also lost the children because she already considered that baby hers, due to which her condition is very bad at the moment, and if I had brought her here to meet her, she would not have been able to take care of her but would have made the environment here even worse. She needs rest as well as some time to cope with the loss."
Until now, Avishka was unaware of Saloni's inability to become a mother, and she was also deeply saddened by the news. However, after witnessing Sanjeev convey this information with such ease, her perspective on the situation seemed to change. She is particularly concerned about Saloni, and she too does not want to get too entangled in these things, hence what she says while looking at Rekha.
"I need some time to take care of myself at this time, so I want to stay with my mother for a few days after my discharge today."
Avishka's mother and her brother are present there, and Advaita does this before Rekha can convince her of it.
"Of course, I also think that you should stay with us at home because the house is very close to here and your house is very far away, and I do not want you to stay away from any medical treatment at this time."
Everyone starts looking at each other but is unable to say anything. Rajeev, who was looking at Sanjeev. He suddenly closed his eyes lightly and nodded his head. This thing does not remain hidden from Avishka's eyes, due to which she starts looking at both brothers even better. He also gets the attention of both the brothers, who start smiling at him. Sanjeev immediately tells Aavishka.
"Look, Rajeev is as sad as you are, and I would like you to stay at your mother's house for a few days and return in 7 days because at this time you all need each other."
Now, before she can say anything else, Reema handles the matter, understanding that for any mother, her in-law family plays a crucial role in maintaining her happiness.
"Of course, son, I understand your words very well. Just rest at my house for a few days. You also try to understand her pain—first her father, and now her baby child—this is a very tough time. I will definitely send her home in 7 days."
Advait's eyes are only on his sister, who is neither smiling nor talking much to anyone after losing her child. Today, after 3 days, he heard his sister say it for the first time, and that too in a completely robotic voice. After saying this, she became completely silent. He continues to gaze at his sister, whichprompts her to turn towards him, causing tears to suddenly well up in her eyes.
Advait has not given up on his sister at all and is so constantly after her that he does not know why he feels that Avishka is not at all happy with Rajeev at home. For a considerable amount of time, her father's actions have been the source of her problems. He was very upset, due to which he had completely ignored Avishka, and he thought that she too was upset because of their father because both of them had similar problems, due to which he tried to express his feelings by talking to her more. He did not want to increase her sorrow; hence, he did not talk about this matter. But after his father's departure, he tries to understand the reason for her sorrow, but the way he saw Avishka in a different form in the hospital, where she not only does not want to look at her husband, but the truth is that he very easily noticed many times that Avishka used to forcefully remove her hand from Rajeev's hands every time, due to which he wants to know the reason for this, but Avishka knows that after her father's death, he is also very sad, and at the same time, he alone is taking care of her mother. In such a situation, she does not want to become the cause of any more sorrow, but it is certain that she has understood that her mother wants her relationship with Rajeev to be happy at any cost because every family just gives blessings for happiness. She wants to explain everything to her mother, but wait a bit because this is not the right time because her mother is completely broken, and just a few days after her father's death, she has a very strong pain in her chest. The doctors have made it clear to her that if Reema's condition continues like this, she may have a heart attack at any time.
"Avi…. Tell me, is there anything wrong?”
"Adi, stop troubling me. I have already told you there is no problem. I have to go tomorrow just because of this. I am very worried because I am not able to understand how you and your mother will manage everything here. I am joining my work soon, and I would like to tell you one thing: if possible, do not say anything to Rajeev. It is not that Rajeev has said anything to me, but I am not feeling right about this."
"Okay, I will definitely remember this thing, but you also have to remember one thing: if you have any problems, there is no need to think that mom will be upset or that I am going to get upset. Papa always used to say the same thing: His Avishka is his life, and I want that no matter what happens, I want to protect his life after our father's departure. You are very precious to him. Whether you tell me anything or not, I am so sure that there is some problem that you are not talking about. See if there is anything so both of us can manage together, and as for mom, her health is going to remain like this because she has lost her life partner. Is the big pain in her life, so it will never reduce anytime soon, so just forget about her."
Avishka begins to observe her brother closely; his words are instilling in her a great deal of courage. However, despite her newfound courage, she remains fearful of her mother.
Avishka has returned home with Rajeev, and as soon as she returns home, she sees Saloni coming towards her for the first time with fast steps. She immediately hugged her and started crying loudly. She also felt Saloni's grief, and it didn't feel good at all, so she started taking care of her despite being in a lot of trouble herself.
"Avishka…."
Before Saloni could say anything else, Sanjeev immediately caught her, took her in his arms, and started talking to her very lovingly.
"Saloni, please refrain from proceeding in this manner; it is not an issue; Avishka is here now, you can talk to her anytime but not now, and your presence does not relieve her but vex or annoy her."
Now, she could clearly see that this was not an explanation; instead, it felt as though he was frightening her with his gaze, and it was the first time she had witnessed Saloni attempting to push Sanjeev away from her. She went ahead and pushed Saloni away from Sanjeev. Even before she can try to do so, Rajeev holds Avishka's hand, brings her towards his room, and tells her.
"Damn, I miss you so much."
He immediately hugs Avishka and starts kissing her neck and jaw, which she cannot tolerate at all, so she pushes him back hard to distance herself from him.
