Story: Mate to the Alpha Predator
"Nothing will be on my conscience. I do not care about things like that." He stated matter-of-factly. With a single jerk of his body, he freed his suit from her grip.
Each step he took towards the door, Ismena was shouting for his help.
He didn't look back.
A few minutes later, A huge figure is seen walking out of the club carrying an almost-passed out drunken female who's singing gibberish in a loud ugly tone, waving her hands around and grinning like the world is hers.
"The skyssssss abOVEEEEEEE is mightyyyy bEAUtifuuuuuul!!! The fuuuuull mOOOOOOOn is glaringgggg at meeeeee!!!" She sang.
"It's not a full-moon night. Full moon will not come for a while, female." He shunned her, walking through the clearing that was surrounded in total darkness, but with the eye of the wolf.
Wolfariane Daminor Throne is not finding any of this experience funny.
He'd really left the woman, went back to his seating to keep waiting for Alphose, but his other halves had been agitated—especially the wolf—which in turn left him agitated too.
He hates whenever his other halves do not agree with him. After all, they all agreed together a long time ago thatthey do not like non-changelings.
"The riverrrsssss are flowing riiiiiight in front of meeeeee. I can seeeeee the bottooooom of the ocEAnnnnnnn! It's daaaaark and meanloooooooking—"
"Keep it down, female." He groaned irritably.
"I can see the foresttttttt right undeeeeer my noooooose. It's wiiiiiild! Oh, I wanna be wiiiiiiiiiiiiild!!!!!"
It's best to ignore and keep walking. He'll dump her drunk ass at the nearest hotel and be on his way. The woman makes him uncomfortable for a lot of reasons but mostly because the mountain lion is 'too quiet' around her, and his wolf is sighing in sheer 'contentment'. Even with the strong scent of liquor and death clinging to her like a second skin.
The mountain lion always rages at the scent of liquor and the wolf is NOT at his happiest at the scent of death unless it's a death caused by him.
So, why are they not clawing at him to drop the female and walk far away?
He kept walking, while she sings until he came across a big hotel and entered the lobby. The first scent most non-changelings and some changeling adults throws out whenever they see him is fear, he is used to it already.
So, when the scent became so high in a lobby of twenty people, he didn't bait an eyelash about it. Instead, he walked to the counter andrequested a room.
They all looked at the drunk woman in his arms with fear for her, he can practically hear their thoughts. He'd kidnapped the woman, they're thinking.
He does not care. Their opinion is their business. As long as they are not getting in his way, he does not care.
The female does not seem to care too because she only sang her toneless 'songs' louder.
After a room was given to him, a key handed to him, he turned and headed towards the elevator. In the bedroom, he walked in and dumped the woman on the bed.
"I can seeeeeee the doorsssssss of hell..." She gagged loudly, "...the angeeeeeels are happyyyyyy!!!"
CHAPTER 6. HER DARK KNIGHT IN FROWNING ARMOR.
Wolfariane dumped her on the bed and rose. He took a moment to arrange his clothing, scowling more at the untidiness and slight wrinkling of his suit. Damn drunk female.
"I can seeeeeeeeeeee the thundeeeer! It's vibrating my beeeeeeeeed! I think I'm gonnaaaaa vanish—" she gagged again. "I don't feel so good, big guy."
"You are drunk and drugged. You have no business feeling good tonight."
"Aaaaaah," she nodded her head in understanding. Accompanied with a huge smile, "But, that is where you're wrooooooooong!" she sang. "I feel like I can flyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!"
Wolfariane shook his head. "I hope we do not see each other again, female." He faced the door and walked—
Feminine hand grabbed his...and tugged hard.
He wasn't expecting it, he lost his footing in the direction she tugged him to and fell right on top of her, breaking his fall on the last minute with the hands that shot out on either side of her head—which held his upper-body away from her, instead of crashing his full-body on her.
