Story: Mate to the Alpha Predator
That was when he started getting the idea of what this might be...
By the gods, it better not be what he was thinking. Let it not be that of all the single, alone women in the club, he'd handpicked the Alpha King's woman!
His fears was confirmed when he started walking towards them.
"Oh, no..." He cried in horror, taking several steps away from the small woman like he's on fire. "Oh, hell no." He raised his hands in surrender.
That was the pitiful look the other males of the club were giving him began making more sense. Damn, no wonder everybody kept their distance away from the woman!
"P-Please, A-Alpha King, I c-can explain...!" He directed to the male stalking closer to him, fear in the very air he breaths, "Please, I c-can—"
Wolfariane reached him, grabbed him with one hand and lifted him off his feet so effortlessly.
Everybody gasped in horror. He did not spare them a glance.
Instead, he cocked his head to the side, "What exactly do you think you can explain, Dog?" He asked in that deceptive calmness of his, before he flung the dog-male across the room.
Donas crashed into the musical instruments and landed in a heap, with a loud bang that resounded through the very quiet building. Everybody gasped again, but they didn't dare breath out loud. No one wants to be focused on, in a situation like this.
"Jesus!" Ismena shouted, stunned. She covered her mouth with her hands.
Wolfariane wasn't done. He stalked towards the male again, dragged him up from the floor and lifted him off his feet again.
"How do you explain the fact that you were kissing my woman?" Pausing, he added, "How do you explain touching what belongs to me, Dog?"
Ismena began, "But I'm not your wo—"
He spared her a glare.
She snapped her mouth shut.
He returned his fierce glare back to his prey. Raising his other fist, he punched Donas' on the cheek.
Sound of teeth rattling was heard even before his teeth popped out of his mouth and scattered on the floor.
Then, Wolfariane threw him again, this time to the opposite side of the club.
He landed with a crash, groaning loudly as pain shot through him from various part of his body. He began pleading with the Alpha King to have mercy on him.
Ismena couldn't take it anymore, she ran towards Wolfariane and blocked his path, spreading her arms wide in desperation to stop him from hitting the poor man anymore.
"Stop...please. It wasn't his fault! He did nothing wrong! It was my fault!" She cried trying to reach him.
He merely pushed her out of the way by applying a little bit of pressure to his touch on her shoulder. Ismena was too drunk on her feet, she staggered out of his path doing her best to catch her footing so she wouldn't fall.
Wolfariane walked to the dog male again, grabbed hold of his neck and lifted him off his feet again, ignoring the man's pleas, his eyes a dark vortex of black rage. His hands fisted, he raised it to the air again—
"Alpha King, please stop!" The voice of the Dogatis boomed through the whole building as he hurried into the club.
The Dog Alpha's voice gave him a pause.
Wolfariane turned his head towards that voice and snarled angrily. His clawed has slipped out, his eyes amber-gold, showing how close the King-Wolf is to the surface.
Shit! Double shit!
Dogatis warned himself to thread carefully.
He reached close and bowed his head to the Alpha King. "I know that Donas did something reckless and stupid, but please forgive him Alpha King."
