Story: Craving Their Omega
“What?” I ask again.
“Nothing, just… we know the type. The man who is so focused on hammering away at a woman that he’s not even checking if she’s having a good time.”
“I mean, I guess I could have spoken up,” I mumble.
“Sure,” Xavier says. “But if he was paying attention, you wouldn’t have had to. He would have known you were just going through the motions for his ego.”
I lick my lips, tasting lemon and sugar on them. “I guess. Part of me wishes I had said something because maybe then he would have tried harder or checked in with me or something. Maybe I would have gotten a least one orgasm out of our relationship.” “I have always wanted to know what it would feel like.”
My face flushes even darker when I realize I said that out loud. This whole conversation has gone off the rails in a way I was not prepared for, and I kind of wish I could go back to when they were praising the cake and we weren’t talking about my nonexistent sex life.
Dominic’s eyes are still on me, and they seem to sear against my skin from how hot the look in them is. There’s something hungry there too, and it makes my breath catch. “Would you like one?” he asks.
My eyes fly open wide and my heart thuds in my chest. Something lower down clenches, and I have to swallow a few times to find my voice. “W-what?”
“I could get you there,” he says. “Give you an orgasm, just so you can see what it’s like.”
I keep waiting for him to say he’s just kidding, or for one of the others to break in and say it’s not a good idea, but no one else speaks. The dining room is silent while Dominic waits for my answer, and it feels like everyone should be able to hear how hard my heart is pounding.
Desire washes through me, so much stronger than I’m used to. “Are you sure you can?” I ask. “Wesley never could?—”
“Wesley sounds like an idiot,” Dominic says simply. He doesn’t look away from me for a second, and his expression is pure confidence. “It won’t be a problem for me.”
And god, that just turns me on even more.
Chapter 19
Dominic
I watch Penelope closely, waiting for her reaction.
I honestly don’t know why I said that. It’s risky. When we all agreed to this arrangement, we decided it was just business. We specifically told her there was no sexual stuff involved. Doing this could put everything in jeopardy.
But something in me just took over while she was talking. Hearing the longing in her voice when she said she wants to know what it feels like to come, hearing about her shitty ex who couldn’t be bothered to see to her pleasure properly… She’s always seemed so innocent, so this touch of dirtiness added an allure I wasn’t prepared for.
I couldn’t stop myself.
Xavier and Tristan didn’t stop me either, and neither of them have spoken up to say it’s not a good idea, but I’m not focused on them right now.
Right now, I only have eyes for Penelope.
She glances to the other two and finds them watching her as closely as I am. When they don’t interject, she swallows hard. I watch the flush go darker on her face, the way she’s fidgeting nervously in her chair.
But finally she looks up at me. “Yes,” she murmurs, nodding.
Something rises in me with her agreement. It’s hot and possessive, and it takes over everything else.
“Come here,” I tell her.
Penelope gets up, tugging nervously at the sweatshirt she’s wearing. It’s Xavier’s, I can tell from the smell of it, and it’s too big for her. It’s hot as hell to see her in something like that, but it makes the jealous part of me rear its head.
She smells like Xavier right now, and I want to get my scent on her as well. I want to see her wearing my clothes again. Seeing her in my jacket did something to me, and I’ve been thinking about it ever since, wanting another opportunity to drape her in something of mine.
I scoot my chair back from the table as she approaches me, and reach out for her. She doesn’t flinch away as my hands find her waist, and I can feel how warm and soft she is, even though the fabric of the sweatshirt. I pull her down onto my lap so that she’s sitting sideways across my legs, and her eyes widen.
“Oh, don’t,” she says quickly. “I’m too heavy for this.”
I quirk an eyebrow at her. “You’re not,” I say. I skim a hand over her body, touching the curve of her hip down to her thigh. “You’re fucking beautiful, and you fit here perfectly.”
