Story: Craving Their Omega
“Really?” I ask him, twisting my hands together in my lap. “You think so?”
He nods. “I do. They’ll be on your side. There will be some naysayers because there always are, but the people with common sense will side with you over your old pack.”
I smile at him, nodding my gratitude. It’s over and that’s a relief, but I still feel shaky in the aftermath. There’s a chance this will all backfire and they’ll somehow use this against me. But I had to do it, and more than anything I’m glad I’m not still running and hiding from them.
When we get home, the men immediately surround me again, carrying me over to the couch to sit down. Xavier takesmy fancy shoes off and massages my feet, and Dominic gets me a glass of water. I realize as I chug it how thirsty I was during all that.
All of them kiss me somewhere, my mouth, my hands, my calf, and I sink into the couch, reveling in their attention. This at least is something I can always rely on now.
“We’re so proud of you,” Tristan says. “You’re incredible. The way you commanded that press conference, it was like you were a natural.”
“No, I was so nervous! I thought I was going to make an idiot of myself.”
“You didn’t,” Dominic assures me. “You sounded passionate and honest, and that’s all anyone could ask from you. It made me so proud to know you. To love you. You were an inspiration.”
Coming from Dominic, that’s such a deep expression of how he feels, and it makes my cheeks warm to hear it.
“Thank you,” I murmur.
Tristan kisses my hand and then brings it up to his cheek. “He’s right. I’ve never known anyone like you in my life, angel. You are one of a kind, and I feel so lucky to have found you.”
I know what that means from Tristan too, considering he cared for someone so deeply before he met me. But apparently I stand out from her, and that feels good too.
Xavier grins, laying his head on my lap. “You’re just perfect,” he says. “And I also feel really lucky. It’s like I said, I knew that day we ran into each other that connecting with you was worth it, and every day you prove me right. Every day you make me want to spend a hundred more days with you.”
“You guys,” I whine softly, covering my hot cheeks with my hands. “You’re making me blush. And anyway, what I did today was all well and good, but what if it’s not enough? What if your investors all jump ship and you lose everything?”
“Then that’s what happens,” Dominic replies. “We’ll still have you, won’t we?”
“Well, yes, but?—”
“That’s all that matters,” Tristan agrees. “We didn’t have investors when we started our businesses, and we managed to make it all right. We’ll survive.”
They sound so completely confident, so sure of themselves, and I guess I have to trust them.
“What can we do to reassure you it’s going to be okay?” Xavier wants to know.
“Kiss me,” I murmur. “I need a distraction.”
Their nearly identical grins clearly say they can do that.
Xavier leans up and captures my lips in a sweet, messy kiss. He lingers, pressing it deeper, thrilling me down to my toes as warmth starts to build between us.
He nips at my bottom lip and then draws back, leaving me leaning forward, trying to chase after him. But Tristan moves in to close the gap, cupping my face with one hand and sliding the other into my hair as he picks up where Xavier left off.
His kiss is passionate and deep, and he thrusts his tongue into my mouth, laying claim to it. I shiver, clutching at him as my heart rate spikes.
When Dominic takes his turn, he leaves no question about what he wants. There’s that flare of possessive command from him, and I melt under it. He kisses like he wants to devour me, pouring all of his feelings into it, and I’m left swooning a little, trying to remember how to breathe.
Their hands start roaming over me, and I gasp softly, arching into each touch. My pulse is racing now, and its echoed by the beating of arousal through my blood, making my body clench with need.
“Let’s take this upstairs,” Dominic says, and he scoops me up and carries me to my bedroom.
The three of them stalk into the room and up onto the bed, laying me out. Between them, they remove my clothes and kiss each new patch of bared skin. I lose track of whose mouth is whose, caught up in the feeling of it all.
Lips graze over my nipples and then down my stomach, across my inner thighs. Fingertips and tongues follow similar paths, and I arch and moan, desperate for more.
The scent of my arousal fills the air, mingling with my natural scent and the men’ scents too, and it’s a heady combination.
He nods. “I do. They’ll be on your side. There will be some naysayers because there always are, but the people with common sense will side with you over your old pack.”
