“And,” I say, not getting my hopes up yet, “maybe I can still film for my documentary? We’d get Trevor’s approval, of course—I mean, after the fact. This could be a surprise for him.” The final act of the documentary will turn into a behind-the-scenes type thing, but watching first-person footage being filmed and then interviews about/with Trevor could totally seal the deal on this thing.

He nods, a grin wide on his face.

My smile matches his now.This is the heart!
