“Does it hurt at all?”
“No, sir.”
“Are you close to coming?”
“Uuhhnnnn… yes, sir…” I moaned, spreading my knees a little wider.
“Hmm. Another day, I think we might get a little more creative with this one. It’s got nine different settings. But for today…” The vibrations shut off, and I was both grateful for the reprieve, and thrilled to hear that my master was interested in further explorations in the future.
He carefully slid the device out of me, then he knelt up on the bed behind me, and just the thought of having him inside me was nearly enough to make me come. Then I felt a thicker, blunter object press against me, and this time, I knew it was my master’s cock.
He pressed in slowly, clearly concerned about hurting me, though I could have told him he didn’t need to worry. Then he set up a fast rhythm, and I wondered how close he was to climax himself. He scraped his fingernails down my back, then gripped my hips, using that as leverage to thrust forward more firmly. My balls were aching with the need to come, and I groaned again as I listened to the slapping sound of his hips against my buttocks.
“Oh fuck,” he muttered, as his rhythm sped up. “Oh fuck… I want you to come now!” he suddenly declared, and like a switchhad been flipped, I did, shooting my release in hot spurts all over the sheets. A moment later, I heard my master groan, and his grip on me tightened… and then he released me, sliding out of me as we both panted for breath.
“Holy fuck, Xel, I… Shit, that was good.” He staggered around to the front of the bed and stroked my hair, then gently lifted my chin to look at him.
“Did that feel good?” he asked, and I smiled, my eyes half-lidded in both satisfaction and tiredness.
“Yes, sir. Very good.”
He nodded, then set about untying my restraints. A bit of clean up work followed – stripping the sheets off the bed and replacing them, a trip to the bathroom to wash the lube off – but no more than five minutes later, we were both curled up in bed again, the lights turned off, feeling sated and lethargic.
But in light of what my master had said about my bonding with him, there was one more question I wanted to ask before we both fell asleep.
“Sir?” I said tentatively. “May I ask you something? It might be a bit of a dangerous question, so if now isn’t a good time…”
I felt him turn his head to look at me, though I couldn’t quite see him in the dark. “Dangerous? Dangerous how? What’s it about?”
“It’s about my previous master.”
A moment of silence followed, and I wondered if he was going to tell me to wait until morning, or perhaps, to not ask at all. I was well aware that he disliked his uncle. “Go ahead,” he said in the end. “What did you want to know?”
I considered how to phrase the question. “I would like to know whether my previous master bought me deliberately. Or did he just find me and decide I was going to be useful?”
My master sighed, and in the darkness, it seemed a weighty sound. “I take it you’ve been doing some research on the subject?” he asked.
“Yes,” I said meekly. “When Vonnie arrived, she said that slavery was illegal in Alliance space. That’s why she’d asked Yona to bring her to Rendol 4. I didn’t think much of it at the time – Aiden had said something not all that dissimilar. I was aware that my master had done something illegal, so I supposed that he’d bought me and then kept me hidden to work around Alliance laws. But Vonnie seemed so emphatic about it, so when I had a chance, I started doing some research. And the more stories I read on the grid of dimari owners, the clearer the true picture became.Nobodyin Alliance spacebuysa dimari. Some get stranded here, due to your disagreements with the Eumadians, and then people just adopt them as they come along. Aiden’s been working hard to make sure they’re all looked after properly, but not a single one of them was actually purchased by choice. So I finally realised that there was no reason I should be the single exception to every other dimari on the planet.”
My master pulled me closer and pressed a kiss to my forehead. “No, he didn’t buy you. I’m not sure of the exact circumstances, but he would have found you by accident, just like all the others.” He paused a moment, choosing his words carefully. “Does that concern you?” he asked gently. “Does it make you feel like you’re less worthy? Or less wanted?”
Though I knew it was a strange reaction to the question, I snorted out a laugh, then quickly apologised for it. “Sorry, I’m not meaning to make light of it,” I explained. “If I’d found out when he still owned me, I would probably have been very upset. But now…” I grinned, unable to help myself. “Now it all makes sense. He wasn’t my real master. He just found me and made use of me for a couple of years until I found my real master. You.”
I heard a faint chuckle in the darkness. “That’s a fine way of looking at it,” my master said. “And if that’s what it took for you to end up here with me, then I’m glad he found you.” I felt him kiss my forehead again, and then he leaned over to press his lips against mine in a real kiss. “You’re the best thing that’s happened to me in years.”
CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO
XEL
When I joined my master in the kitchen the following morning, I was delighted to discover that I could still feel the lingering sensitivity in my ass when I sat down at the table. I reflected that Kade had been right in his observations of how a dimari felt after sex; the knowledge that I had been so thoroughlyusedby my master was making me deliciously light headed.
After a busy weekend, Leesha had come early to do the morning cleaning of the pens, so my master and I had both had the luxury of a short sleep-in. He’d got up before me and was now placing a meal of scrambled eggs and toast on the table, with enough for Vonnie as well, though she wasn’t yet out of bed.
I was just taking my first bite of eggs when my comm beeped, and I glanced down to see that it was a message from Torv.
I got my master’s attention with a muffled, “Hm!”, gesturing to my comm while I swallowed, then I explained, “It’s the colonel.” I answered the call, sliding around so that we could both look at the screen.
“Morning Xel. Cole,” Torv said. “Sorry for calling so early, but I wanted to check on a couple of details with you before we take things any further. I had my intelligence team start looking at Kathleen Norris’s records before we approach her about the job at the colony, and we seem to have run into a bit of a snag. Cole, your uncle’s name was Jacob Ronson, correct?”
