Page 95 of Untouchable Billionaire
The courtyard itself is not small but very intimate. It is beautifully decorated with patio willow trees, shrubs, and bouquets of flowers everywhere, with the center clear for dancing and a full bar.
There are only a few single chairs placed around the outskirts.I make my way to one, lay my purse down on the ground under it, and push it with my toe out of the way.
I don't want my gun discovered. That would surely give everyone cause for concern.
I return to the perimeter of the dance floor while the others get their drinks at the bar.As I wait, I take in the view of the back of the immense house, and it is incredible!
The interior upstairs balcony joins the courtyard with twin staircases that run onto the roof of the verandah, then branch down to the courtyard and also continue below.A hedge of shrubbery forms the last wall breaking the view from the grounds behind the house.I hear the sound of running water over the distant sound of the piped music and the chatter of the swingers.
The house is spectacular!
I scan the swingers and remember my early days in the private VIP rooms.I was young and free. Not free as in easy, but free as in ...set free.Moving to Vegas and discovering that lifestyle was my destiny, and I am thankful every day for that.
Funny how Karma works.I come to this party with TD to offer a small token of appreciation, and Karma allows me to do so much more.
Darren approaches me."Angela requested a special song for our first dance."
"I'll Be" by Edwin McCain starts to play.
"May I have this dance, Siri?"He bows deeply.
I curtsey and accept his hand."Certainly, Darren."
We waltz—very old school, very gentile, very rich, and very beautiful. As we whirl slowly and thoroughly around the dance floor, the words to the song tell me I have found two more friends.
TD is waltzing with Angela, and they glide by looking very fly.But only because she is an excellent dancer and is making him look good. She has perfect form with her head held high, and her face is to the ceiling as they twirl.
I am going to teach her to pole dance as my gift to the house.
As the song ends, Darren pulls me into his embrace."You dance very gracefully, Siri. You're a natural."
"Thank you!I thoroughly enjoyed that!"
He smiles."Angela made a good choice then?"
"Yes, she did."
He escorts me off the dance floor to the bar as everyone else moves on to dance to Pitbull's "Timber."
"What can I pour for you?"
"Crown, please.Neat."
He nods, pours it, and holds his in a salute as he hands it to me."You are an excellent dancer, Siri."
We clink glasses.
"Thank you.Angela is too.Where did you find such a beautiful, elegant lady?"
He smiles."She's 'My Fair Lady.'"
"So, you are her Henry Higgins?"
"Yes."He smiles affectionately, watching her.
"My congratulations to you both."I take a deep sip.The heat of the liquid feels good going down.
"You mentioned exotic dancers earlier.Do you know how to dance more … exotic?"He smiles over his glass, searching my face. His demeanor is still a southern gentleman, but there is a bad boy vibe.
