Page 73 of Untouchable Billionaire
We laugh into each other's faces. He takes a step back, drops his head, and shakes it."I can't catch a break."He hits ignore on his phone.
I squeeze his hand and quickly step forward, trying to salvage the moment."I would love another raincheck.Your choice.Fast and furious or nice and slow."
His smile is sexy as hell, but his phone goes off again.
I shake my head, laughing, "I can't catch a break either."I spin him around and push him towards his truck."Go.It must be really important."
"My calendar is clear on Sunday."He says as he gets in his truck. His window opens.
I confirm, "Def on Sunday then."
He gives me a head nod."See ya, Wright."Then he answers his phone, puts it in reverse, and backs out.
I wave, "Ciao."
Walking to our building, the warmth of being in his presence feels so good.I like you, Mr.Moore.I really do.
Once in my apartment, I strip, put on a lace robe, make myself a salad, and go out to the balcony to eat.As I munch, I start to laugh.I'm ready to do this dude, and I don't even know his first name.Ok.That is priority #1.I have to learn more about Moore fast because once we kiss, it'll be on.
I finish my salad, take the bowl to the sink, and wash it.Then get to work on the theatrical challenges of Surreal's performance of "Happy," jotting notes for James.
Note: Find a hat identical to Pharrell's.It is perfect to stuff my hair in.
Note: Make sure Bart contacts the agents for Steve Carell, Kelly Osbourne, Jimmy Fallon and the other celebrities in the video for pop in guest appearances.
Note: Incorporate going in and out of Pharrell's character to the dancers that would be believable.
Note: Check with Criss Angel.See if he would be willing to help with the bait and switch moves.
By the time I hear the Raptor in the parking lot, I have memorized the first portion of the video.I walk out onto the balcony to watch the Golden God park.He looks up to my balcony immediately and waves as he walks in front of the headlights.
I wave back.Yeah, I got it bad for you.
Once he is in the building, I shut my balcony doors, turn my computer off, and go to bed.Not trusting either of us to be able to say no.
When I arrive at work, TD is waiting for me.He opens the front door."I have to go to the other office today. There's an issue I have to handle.Let me have your digits.I will pick you up at 7."
"No.I am not giving you my personal number. You can use Facebook to contact me."
He presses his lips together."Fine.The attire is semiformal.Wear something sexier."He looks at my breasts, then my face, and finds a severe smirk on it."Pretty please with sugar on top?"
"Go before I change my mind."
He opens the door, takes a step out, then backtracks. His charm is turned on high."Thanks, colleague, for doing this for me."
I nod."You're welcome."
My last day is uneventful. At 4 o'clock, I hug the few people who bothered to come by to wish me well.
As I pull out of the parking lot of Connors Chemical Corporation for the last time, I thank my lucky stars that I went to Vegas and became a dancer instead of an accountant.
Sitting at a red light, my phone vibrates. There's a Facebook message from TD.I swipe it open and read.
The cocktail party is pushed to 10.Something about a flight being delayed.I will pick you up at 9:15.If that's ok?Please let it be ok, with sprinkles on top?
I smirk at my phone. He's pouring it on thick!
It's ok.
