Page 65 of Unstoppable Billionaire
He chuckles."When I found you in Vegas, I knew I had to have a fucking relationship with you, so I negotiated for an exclusive session, but I had to wait.Someone is a workaholic."He winks that killer wink at me, and I giggle, loving this little confession."By the way, your security detail is tough to crack."I giggle again, and he smirks."Finally, my scheduled date came around, and I was going to seduce you and make you mine.I couldn't wait to look into your eyes."He stares into mine now, and I feel his power, his magnetism, drawing me down further into his abyss. He smiles that winning smile and says."Then you fucking vanished."I drop my eyes and chuckle."I was devastated, Siri, but more determined than ever to have you."He squeezes me."Then you were delivered to me."He laughs."In a perfect way. When you walked across the parking lot, I couldn't believe it was you. Then you flashed your perfect pussy at me, and I saw stars.I knew then that I wanted more with you.I wanted to win your heart."
He takes his finger and circles the heart hole in my halter. The touch of his skin on mine sends an electric current flowing through me, and tiny goosebumps radiate out.He takes my hands, and kisses them, then standing in one place, moving to the rhythm, doing a sexy side-to-side rock, he spins me, twirls me, and holds my hand while I dance a sexy salsa step for him.
When he drops his arms around me to sway again, I say."You know, you are a fantastic dancer!By far, the sexiest dance partner I have ever shared the floor with. And that's saying something, trust me on that."
I feel his body tense.
"It's been a long time since I danced."He confesses.
"I know you enjoy it?"
"Yes, I do.Very much."He pauses, then takes a deep draw of air."I had a fantastic teacher."
"Who?"
"My Nonna taught me.She was the last person I danced with."
"Why?"
He doesn't answer.
I pull away to study his face. There is pain in his eyes.I ask softly, "Aurei, what happened?"
"She died of a heart attack as we walked off the dance floor.I saw her crumple."
"Oh my … I am so sorry!"I murmur, putting my face in his chest and holding on to him for dear life.
"It's ok, Sweet Thang."He kisses the top of my head."She died the way she lived.Happy because she was dancing."I kiss his chest over and over, totally understanding that."But I haven't danced again because I haven't wanted to dance with anyone else….Until you."
"Aurei, I'm speechless ...and I am so honored!"
We sway in silence as the song winds down, then we say at the same time, "This never felt so good," making us both burst out laughing.
We walk off together, arm in arm.
CHAPTERELEVEN
Back at the table, everyone is grinning at us.Steve says to me."Congrats.You broke the spell.Give us a hug."Aurei pulls me closer to him, and Steve looks at him, then says, "Never mind.I'm good."
I laugh."Nothing personal, Steve, but my Rule #1: No touching."
He looks at Aurei."Did she tell you that?"
Aurei moves me in front of him, drapes his arms around my shoulders, and laughs in my ear at Steve."Of course not."
I love that sound. The sound of a rumble of thunder having fun.I turn my face to see his eye crinkled.Perfection.I kiss his arm, and he squeezes me.
A girl comes over to us.She stands across the table and smiles, first at Aurei, then at me.She silently lays a $20 down and walks away.
Scarlett , who is still sitting on Paul's lap, reaches into her pocket, pulls out a $20, and tosses it on the table too."You won our bet, Siri."
"What exactly was the bet?"I ask as another girl comes up and tosses a $20 down.
"We had a bet that the girl who could get Aurei back on the dance floor would collect a $20 from all the girls who tried and failed."
I smirk at Aurei."I told you so.I told you they were playing games for you."
He rolls his eyes."Girls and their drama."
