His eyes crinkle at me."You did good, Wild Thang, and I notice every move you make."
I smile at him."So, where are your Bro's?"
"They're at our usual table."He checks his phone."They haven't read my text."
"Well, go get them," I command.Aurei raises his eyebrows at me, so I tone it down."Pretty please, with sugar on top?"
"I don't want to leave you alone."
I roll my eyes at him."I know how to say no!"
He stands and looks out across the room.
I reach out and touch his beautiful golden hand.
He stares down at me."What, Baby Thang?"
Looking up into his sincere face, I feel myself fall another notch."What shall I order you if the waitress comes before you return?"
"Crown, neat."
I blink and shake my head.Did he just say that?
"Get me whatever you're having then."
I look at him."That's what I drink."
"Great.Get us both one."He winks as he walks off into the crowd, evading the dance floor. His route makes me giggle.I decide to sit on the table so I can see him.
I'm glad he wore the aqua color. He's easy to spot.
I look around the bar.The DJ stage is across the opposite side of the dance floor. Our table is halfway to the center stage on the left. It's a great location, and the music isn't so loud you can't hear yourself think, plus you can see the whole place from this vantage point.I analyze The Stallion's set up with a trained businesswoman's eye.
The actual bar is too small. It's too crowded. There isn't a separate area for the servers to fill their orders with ease. They need another bar along that wall. But the rest of the site is well laid out.The ceilings are very high and have ceiling fans spinning on high, circulating the air, keeping it moving. The ventilation is excellent. The air is crisp despite the crowd. There must be dehumidifiers and multiple air units.
The stage is a good size. You could put a live band up there. And there are the stripper poles over there too. But, way too high. You have to crane your neck to see them.
The Stallion is obviously a reference to an MMA fighter.I thought it was going to be a Cowboy Club.I like the concept. The servers are showing a lot of skin.Always good for business.T & A sells. The male uniforms are the equivalent of boxer briefs with sponsor logos printed on them. They all have on athletic cups too.Mandatory, no doubt. You can't have a python sneaking out, but you have to show those tight asses. The female uniforms are the ring girl's two-piece suits, complete with extreme push-up inserts: the more cleavage, the better the tips.
I keep an eye on the area where Aurei went.Every now and then, I see his golden halo shining above the heads or his aqua shirt, but the going is slow. The place is packed, and without the music blasting, the men stop him to speak and shake his hand, rising from their table briefly, and the girls call out to him or speak as he passes by their crew, flirting.
He is both well respected and liked.I smile with the visual acknowledgment of what I know in my heart to be true. He's a good man.
Our waitress comes over, studying me.
I smile sweetly, knowing word has spread that Mr.Untouchable has a date.
She returns it."Hi, I'm Gaby."
"Nice to meet you, Gaby.My name is Siri."I stick my hand out to shake hers.
She blinks."Seriously?Your name is Seary?"She leans down to get a good look.
"Seriously, I'm Siri."I laugh, thinking she is surprised someone has the same name as Apple's Siri.
"Welcome to The Stallion."She takes my hand and shakes it hard."Nice to meet you.Are you here alone?"
"No, my date went to get his friends. They'll be right back."
