Page 31 of Unstoppable Billionaire
The other dude agrees."Really.YOLO!"
When we arrive on Cloud 9, I automatically turn to the left to my apartment, but Aurei turns towards his.His grip tightens, and he wins the tug of war with one pull.
"We need to eat, and I have food."
"Can't argue with that logic."I skip to catch up to him.
"I'll shower first, then nap while you get ready."
"Deal.I can't cook, but I make a mean sandwich."
He grins as I start to sing "Happy" and break into the choreography.
When we enter his apartment, he goes to the bathroom, and I head to the kitchen, still singing and dancing.I open the refrigerator to see what I can throw together for him.The usual items are all here, neat and organized.Coors Light is on the top shelf."Want a beer?"He doesn't answer, so I resume "Happy" and open the freezer looking for a mug.Ah-ha!I take one, pour him a beer, and put it back.Opening the pantry, I find my favorite go-to food, peanut butter.I put it and a loaf of bread on the counter, then get two plates.Back to the refrigerator, I find the jelly.I quickly whip us up my specialty, toasted PB&J's.I make him two with extra peanut butter, knowing he eats a lot from the amount of omelet he consumed this morning.
I walk out onto the balcony while I eat mine and enjoy the view of the running trail. The sun is low in the sky.Popping the last bite in my mouth, I go back in.I hear Aurei humming.I take the beer out and swirl the liquid, so the ice crystals around the edges break off and float on top.Pick up the plate with his sandwiches and head to the shower.
He's humming "Happy," and his tone is pitch-perfect.Because HE IS PERFECT!
Remembering this morning, I knock gently on the shower door with my elbow.A black eye would ruin a perfect day.
He opens the door, and I stick the frozen mug in."Ah!You're a good woman, Siri Wright."He takes it and drinks several big swallows."AH, that hits the spot."He hands it back, and I stick the sandwich in.
"Here you go.I've made you my very own gourmet sam 'wich recipe."He opens his mouth, and I stuff it in.
He takes a huge bite and mumbles, "yum," as his head goes back under the water.I wait as he chews, then he comes back out smiling and opens his mouth again.I feed him the whole thing this way, then he washes it down with the beer."That was a killer gourmet sam 'wich and beer.Thank you."
"You're welcome."
He sets the beer mug on the top of the shower railing."Let me shave, Sweet Thang, then we'll go down to your place, and you can get cleaned up."
"Yes, sir."
He closes the shower door, and I go back into the bedroom. His bed looks so inviting.I set the plate down on the nightstand, and I flop my satisfied, pounded body, spread eagle on his comforter. It's so soft.I close my eyes and listen to the water running and his humming.
I feel like I've been rode hard and put up wet.
I smile as I drift right off to sleep.
A hero rides into my view from the fog.He sits naked bareback.
Proud.
I reach out and touch the horse.
It's beautiful.White.Pure white.A Lipizzaner Stallion!
Awe!Gorgeous!
The hero sits the horse like Napoleon Bonaparte, commanding, confident, but he is masked like the Lone Ranger.
I walk toward him slowly, like Lady Godiva with only my hair covering my nakedness.
He slides off the white stallion. His naked body is powerful, strong.
I pause in front of him, waiting….
He looks down at me.
