Tina

“I n the office?” A door shuts in the background like Rosa realizes this conversation should be held in private. “Let me get this straight… this is the same office with glass walls?”

After lunch, and our office indiscretion, staff members filed in the space for a staff meeting. Completely unruffled, Dustin pointed at each one, spouting off their drink orders to me as if I hadn’t just sucked his cum off the hand he was using, and there I was, face still flaming and sticky between my legs.

I rub my thighs together now, and a zing of desire hits. I set five mugs on a tray I find in a cabinet, filling them with coffee.

Rosa’s chair squeaks like she’s getting comfortable. “Okay, who is this and what have you done to my friend?”

“I honestly don’t know.” I’ve been asking myself the same question about using the deal as an excuse for letting my inhibitions go. “But it was amazing.”

“I bet. Even I’m all hot and bothered just thinking about it,” she says. “I need details.”

“Who are you talking to?” Even muffled I recognize Lucius’s stern voice.

Rosa laughs. “Wouldn’t you like to know?”

There’s a scuffle and I picture them fighting over the phone. My suspicions are confirmed when Lucius’s voice comes through the line next. “Who is this?”

I smile. “Hi, Lucius.”

His harsh tone changes immediately. “Hello, Tina. Is Dustin being good to you?”

Rosa barks out a laugh in the background and I’m grateful we’re not on a video call so he can’t see my flaming face. I clear my throat. “Um… yeah. We’re finding our footing.”

“Glad to hear all’s going according to plan.” I frown at his choice of words. I’m about to ask what he means when he speaks again. “Will we be seeing you this weekend?” He must sense my confusion because he adds, “Dustin’s fight? I assumed you’d be coming back with him to watch.”

“This is the first I’m hearing of any fight,” I say.

“Looking forward to seeing you,” he says like it’s been decided. “Here, you may speak with princesa again.”

“Hey,” Rosa says.

“Princess?”

“Yeah, don’t ask.”

I laugh at her annoyed tone. “It sounds like your bodyguard is back on the job.”

“He’s been MIA for days and suddenly he’s back full force like nothing ever happened. Of course, he won’t tell me anything. He is so frustrating. I can’t even tell you how much.”

“Believe me, I’m right there with you on the frustrated part.”

“Sounds like it. But at least your problem isn’t potentially life-threatening.” She seems to remember the drugging, the loan shark, and the person following me. “Well, at least you’re getting orgasms out of it.”

There is that. We both sigh longingly before laughing. Lucius barks an order in the background and Rosa groans. “Ugh, I gotta go, chica . Please come this weekend. I could use a drinking buddy.”

My head already hurts just thinking about it. “I’ll be there.”

The staff meeting is in full force when I re-enter, loaded down with coffees. Lester, one of the last hires, jumps to his feet to assist me. “Here, let me help.”

“Thank you.” I feel Dustin’s dark gaze following me around the room, burning right through my clothes until I feel stripped bare for everyone in the room to see my dirty little secret. When I’m done I turn to leave, finding Lester in my path. He clears his throat. “If you’re not busy, one of these days maybe we could go to lunch or get coffee or something.”

Oh, my God, talk about awkward. If he only knew what his boss just did to me in here.

“Um…” I chance a glance at Dustin and find he’s glaring at Lester like he wants to rip his arms off. My lip twitches and his gaze shifts to me. He narrows his eyes, and crap, I love it when he does that.

“That’ll be all, Tina,” he says. “Make sure to close the door on your way out.”

Although it’s nowhere near closing time, I say fuck it and have Mitch take me to the house. Once I arrive, I replace my dress with soft lounge pants and a tank top. I hang the dress in the closet and touch the skirt. What kind of magic is woven into the fabric? Whatever it is, it must be soaked in some kind of aphrodisiac.

Back when Colin and Stacy were here, Dustin crashed in this room and, of course, he didn’t bother washing the sheets for me. Smelling him everywhere now, I can’t decide if I’m glad for his slobbish ways for once or not. Lying face down on the bed, I try not to recall what happened in the office, but it’s no use, every time I close my eyes, I see Dustin sitting in his chair with his pants open.

Rolling to my back, I grab my phone from the nightstand when it vibrates. Figures I couldn’t be away long without my absence being noticed. He must need his back scratched or something equally demeaning. I try not to analyze why the idea doesn’t irritate me as much as it should.

DUSTY: Where’d you run off to?

I don’t have to see him to know he’s pleased with himself for flustering me enough to not want to face him.

ME: Home.

I type out another response and hit send before I can think better of it. Even knowing damn well it’s like catnip to a man like Dustin.

ME: I think I’ve serviced you enough for one day.

DUSTY: If memory serves, and it’s pretty fresh considering I can still taste you, I serviced you.

DUSTY: BTW, I expect dinner on the table and you naked when I get there.

He’s such an idiot. A delusional idiot at that. I laugh out loud but don’t respond. There is no sense in pretending I don’t want more of what Dustin and I had earlier. I want it and I plan on getting it.

I spent my whole relationship with Connor keeping my mouth shut. No more.
