FIVE YEARS LATER
Sadie
M y start with the guys might have been one hell of a roller coaster ride, but it was worth it. The past five years have been amazing, to say the least.
Sure, we’ve had our ups and downs. Being with four men doesn’t come without challenges. But we love one another and do our best to work through any issues we might have.
Since Tina’s death, life has returned to normal.
Honestly, it wasn’t hard to continue on living knowing what really happened to her.
I had no guilt. Lost no sleep. Maybe that says something about me, but I don’t care.
There are so many other things in my life worth my time and effort; she isn’t one of them.
The rest of my time at Kingston Academy was amazing. I truly got to enjoy life for once. Had the best years with my friends, fell more and more in love with my guys every day.
We ended up all moving into Collin’s mansion when Carol retired last year, and Collin took over in her place.
It’s been nice having all of us living in one place.
Getting to wake up with my guys every day and seeing them before I go to bed.
Now, when life gets busy for one of us, we don’t have to go days without seeing one another.
Even if it’s just a kiss good morning, or popping in during the day into one of their offices, it’s the tiny things that matter.
Grayson started working for Mark. His grandfather wasn’t happy.
After Grayson pretty much told his grandfather to fuck off and took control of his own life, he didn’t hear anything from him until his grandfather found out Grayson took that job with Mark.
Apparently, he thought Grayson was going through a phase and would see the errors of his ways when he graduated. That old man was sorely mistaken.
As for Declan, he ended up having a falling out with his parents.
It hurt him for a little while, but after a bit, he realized that he never really had much of a relationship with them.
He would always love them, but he had his family now.
Yes, I did cry like a baby, and as much as Preston denies it, he totally had a few tears too.
Declan started working at Kingston as a guidance counselor, something he never thought he’d be interested in until Collin had a talk with him.
He’s also working towards being a part-time professor, filling in when needed.
He’s happy not to get involved in the business world and enjoys this job better.
After Bradly left, he hasn’t been heard from since. No signs of him trying to get back into the country. Collin thinks there’s a good chance he could be dead. As for his company, it went under, and he lost everything.
Preston’s mom left town. Last we heard about her, she’s remarried to some poor soul in Spain, living her best life using all his money.
When I asked Preston how he felt about all of this, he said he truly didn’t care.
Maybe he would have years ago, but since he took control of his life, he saw how toxic he had it growing up.
I’m still so damn proud of him for going to therapy.
It really changed him into the amazing man I knew he was deep inside.
Preston once had a dream to make enough money to get out from under his father’s thumb and move away to build something of his own. With his father out of the way, his dreams changed. He made the club his full-time job, and it brings in amazing money.
It's a place we still love to frequent. The room where they taught me so much about my sexuality, my body, and my kinks is permanently closed down for us. I’m still learning new things, and happy to have them teach me.
A lot of things changed outside of me and my guys. Once everything settled down in our lives, Mark officially adopted me. And even though I didn’t take his name, I still felt honoured he wanted me to be his daughter in this way.
Carol fell in love, got married, and is now living a few streets down from Mark and my mom.
Speaking of my mom, I now have a two-year-old little sister named Molly.
Mom and Mark were surprised to find out she was pregnant, but we were all over the moon.
She’s the sweetest little thing and looks just like her big brother, Grayson.
Who happens to be wrapped around her little finger, just like her daddy.
It’s also helped make things little weird sharing a sibling, and we’re not sure how to explain the fact that her brother and sister are married, but hey, she’s too young for that anyways.
So, we’re not married officially, because that's still not legal in the US, but we had a commitment ceremony. On paper, I’m legally Collin’s wife, but in my heart, I’m all of theirs, and I refer to them as my husbands.
My phone rings. Blinking, I look away from the sunset and down at my phone.
It’s a warm summer night, and I’ve had the house to myself all day. It’s kind of been nice to get some alone time with my thoughts, but I miss my guys. They’re all at work for the night, and I’m a bit disappointed because today is our commitment anniversary.
But they promised to make it up to me this weekend, so I’ll forgive them.
“Hey.” I laugh when I answer the phone. “What’s up?”
“Just enjoying the world. You know. Something you refused to do with us.” Mia pouts.
“Stop it.” I laugh. “You act like we didn’t travel around Europe all last summer.”
“Okay, fine. Fair point. But we miss you in Jamaica. It’s stunning here,” Alice says. They must have me on speakerphone.
“Heeeyyy.” I say to her, “Anyone else there?”
“Emma and Cole are,” Mia says.
“Heyyy, bitch. I totally hate the fact you're not here,” Emma pouts.
“I know myself too. Maybe next time.”
There’s a reason why I turned down the trip. Not just because I’d miss my guys, but I just got news not too long ago that's going to change our lives, in the best way possible, forever. I’ve just been trying to find the right time to tell the guys.
I was going to surprise them tonight, but damn, work keeps getting in the way.
Thankfully, I don’t have to worry about that, because I’m off for the summer. Perks of working for the school and my mom. I get summers off.
“And bring those men of yours. Being the only guy here sucks,” Cole pouts.
“Hey, what about me?” Brent chimes in.
“How could we ever forget about you?” Emma laughs.
“Thanks,” Brent mutters.
The summer we traveled, Emma and Brent met Cole; he’s from Spain. They hit it off, had feelings for her, and now Emma has two men. I’m happy for her. Cole and Brent are also together.
As for Alice and Mia, they got married last year on the cliffs in Ireland. The wedding was beautiful.
“Hey.” The mood gets serious. “The reason why we’re calling is we’re wondering if you saw the news?” Mia asks.
“Ahh, about what?”
“So, remember all the girls Lionel assaulted?” My stomach sinks at the mention of that name. It’s been a long time since I’ve heard it.
“How can I forget?” I whisper.
“Turns out, he got one of them pregnant, and she had a son. She’s been fighting in court to get the DNA tested proof. It finally went through, and not only did she prove the DNA was his, she also won in court for like, a fuckton of money.”
“Oh.” I blink. “Well, that's good for her then.”
“Right? I mean, at least something good came out of that horrible fucked up situation.”
“Yeah...”
We talk for a bit, but my mind is still on the girl.
After life settled down, I went to the guys and told them I wanted to help fight against Lionel in court.
To get him put behind bars for life. Only to find out that apparently Lionel killed himself, and the guys didn’t know how to tell me.
When I asked why it wasn’t in the news, they told me his parents were keeping it private.
The way Collin and Preston looked at one another gave me a feeling that wasn’t the complete truth, and they were keeping something from me. But with some searching, there were a few articles that supported their story.
Still to this day, I think there’s more to it. It’s not something I’m going to dig back into. Better to let things lie where they may. Just like what happened with Tina.
I’m happy. Healthy. And in love. I won’t let my past ruin that for me, and haven’t for a long time.
With the sun setting, I gather the book I was reading and head into the house.
“Miss Sadie,” Walker, our doorman, greets me.
“Hey, Walker.” I smile.
“This is for you.” He approaches me and hands me a black envelope.
“Thanks.” I smile. He nods his head and leaves.
Curious, I head up to my room and throw my book on the bed before taking a seat on the edge.
Opening it up, I see that it’s a typed letter.
Happy Anniversary, baby. You didn’t think we forgot, did you? Get dressed in something sexy and wear that mask. You know, the black and red one. Meet us at Wonderlust at nine. We can’t wait to show you just how much we love you.
Love- Collin, Preston, Grayson, and Declan.
A smile splits my face, and giddy excitement fills me. Of course, it would be like them to make me think they’re busy just to surprise me with something.
Tossing the letter on the bed, I quickly grab something sexy. A little black lace bra and panty set to match the mask.
Once I’m dressed, I throw a long coat over the set before putting on the mask.
When I get downstairs, the car I called is waiting for me.
The whole ride there, I’m bouncing with excitement and nerves. Because by the end of tonight, the guys are going to know they’re about to be daddies.
But I think I’ll wait until all the orgasms first. Maybe that will help all of us handle the news.
The club is busy when I get there, and no one bats an eye that I’m dressed in a long coat in the middle of July in Florida.
Well, everyone except Rosie. “Girl, what are you wearing?” She laughs.
