Collin

“ G ood morning,” Mom says, joining me in the kitchen.

“Morning,” I grunt, taking an aggressive bite of my apple.

She pauses with a raised brow. “Who shit in your cornflakes?”

I nearly choke on my food. “Mom!” I rasp, clearing my throat.

“What?” she asks, leaning against the counter. “You look like someone kicked your dog, broke your favorite toy, then stole your best friend.”

“Someone did take my best friend,” I growl. “My wife. Those little shits have been holding her hostage for almost a week now!”

“Who?” Mom’s brows furrow, looking more concerned. “The guys?”

“No.” I lean forward, eyes hard. “Those girls,” I spit the last word.

Mom’s lips lift into a smile. “You mean her best friends?”

“I’m her best friend,” I huff.

“You’re acting like a jealous man, Collin.” She laughs.

“Yeah, and?” I raise a brow. “I am one. Whenever she’s not with me, I want her to be. I agreed to share her with her other boyfriends, not the girls. They’ve never been much of a problem until now.”

“Alright, humor me. Why are they so much of a problem?”

“They think she spends too much time with us.” I shake my head. “What do they expect? She has four boyfriends who all want to be up her ass twenty-four seven.” Both figuratively and literally. “We’re a lot of work, you know?”

“Oh, trust me, I know.” She snorts.

“Hey. Be nice. I’m your son.” I narrow my eyes.

“My sweet baby boy,” she mocks. “Do you need Mommy to tell those mean, mean girls to back off your woman?”

I know she’s joking, but...”Yes.”

“Collin,” she laughs, grabbing a dish towel and throwing it at me. “Stop it. Those girls are her best friends. They deserve her time, too. They’ve been with her through a lot in her life. Don’t start being the kind of man who makes her pick between her friends or her boyfriend.”

“I know.” I groan, tossing my head back. “I just need to get my hands on her, you know?” After that very memorable primal play masked men day, my need to get my hands on her has been amped up tenfold. I’m pulling her into my office to fuck her over my desk any time I can get my hands on her.

Sadly, nothing in the past week because she’s always with them in school. After school, she’s with one of the guys. I hate it. I need her. I crave her. It’s turning me into a whiny little bitch.

“Collin, I do not want to hear about how much you want to have sex with your wife,” she chastises me like I’m a teenager.

“But, maybe I can offer some advice. Why don’t you take her away for the weekend?

We have a jet, you know. One that none of us use much these days.

I can get someone to take you two for the weekend, then you can bring her to the cabin in the mountains. ”

My eyes widen, a grin taking over my face. “Holy fuck, how have I never thought of that?”

“Because I’m smart and...” She gives me a sympathetic, mocking look. “You're not.”

“Haha,” I deadpan. “Anyways, yes, please set that up. We’ll leave after school.”

“Aren't you going to ask Sadie to see if she can go?”

“Nope.” I grin. “She doesn’t get a choice.”

“Collin.” Mom sighs, annoyed with me already.

“Gotta go to work. Love you.” I kiss her on the cheek in passing.

“See you soon,” she calls after me.

I’m on cloud nine all day, eager and excited to get my wife all to myself. It can be like the honeymoon we’ve never gotten the chance to take.

I’ve asked her about that. She said it’s because it wasn’t a real wedding. Not going to lie, that kind of hurt. But I get where she’s coming from.

But to me, this marriage means a lot. I see her as my wife, my best friend, someone I refuse to live my life and grow old without.

For the rest of the day, every class and counselling session, I’m distracted. All I can think about is for school to let out for the weekend and whisking my girl away to the mountains.

At lunch, I skipped going to the Host Club room. I knew if she were there, I wouldn’t have been able to keep this to myself. When it comes to her, I have a horrible poker face.

So, instead, I stayed in my office and made sure the cabin was set up and ready to go by the time we’d get there. I also asked Erin to pack Sadie a bag for the weekend.

When she asked me why, I had to tell her. Thankfully, she thinks it’s a great idea because, in her words, she looks so stressed and tired lately. I think some time away will help. That worried me a bit. Why haven’t I noticed that?

Have I been too stuck in my own head, dwelling on not getting to spend time with her?

There are things she’s not talking about. Like the fact that people are still talking about her being with multiple men.

It’s not as bad as it was when everyone first found out she’s not only with me, but still with Declan and her step-brother, on top of that.

After hearing a few nasty words with my own ears, I made sure to put a stop to that.

Did I threaten to fail them or get them kicked out of school if they didn’t fuck off?

Yes. Yes, I did.

Their parents aren't going to come after me, and they know it.

However, there’s one person who still doesn’t give a shit about my threats, and if she doesn’t back the fuck off, I’ll take things into my own hands. Even if I have to kill her myself.

I’m at the point where I’ll kill anyone who poses a threat to her. Even my father. Fuck, I’d gladly kill him if I knew I’d be able to get away with it.

When I know it won’t draw attention, I might take Rosie up on her offer to take care of him herself.

He’s been quiet. Too quiet. I don’t trust it, but I’m also not going to let him have that control over me and take away the bit of peace we've found.

I’m still paranoid. With the help of the guys, someone is always with Sadie, whether she knows it or not.

Declan and Preston might have judged me and Grayson for how we’ve been with Sadie, but they’ve turned into quite the little stalkers themselves.

Guess when your girl's safety is at risk, you're willing to do anything.

I know I am.

“Fucking finally,” I growl in annoyance as soon as the clock says three thirty, slamming my laptop closed and putting it in my bag before heading out of my office.

Slinging the strap of the messenger bag over my shoulder, I stride down the hallway, avoiding the students spilling out.

I’m a man on a mission, and nothing or no one is getting in my way.

“Mr. Killian,” Mr. Richman, philosophy professor, steps into the hallway just outside his classroom. “Can I talk to you for a moment?”

“Nope,” I say, passing by him.

“But, it’s important!” he calls after me.

“Not as important as it is for me to get alone time with my wife,” I call back, shooting him a grin over my shoulder. “Not that you’d know anything about that.” I wink.

His face goes beet red. I toss my head and laugh. I hate that man. He cheated on his wife, she found out, took everything, and now all he has is his job. He should be lucky he even has that.

I’ve met his wife, she’s a good woman and mother.

A grin stretches across my face when I spot her. She always meets up with her friends next to the main doors every day before and after school.

Part of me wants to stand back and watch her. She’s so fucking beautiful. The smile on her face is enough to take my breath away, a laugh that is literally music to my ears.

She’s fucking perfect. And for this weekend, she’s all mine.

As I get closer, she looks over and spots me. I didn’t think it was possible, but that smile on her face gets better, and fuck me, my cock is a goner when she sinks her teeth down into her bottom plump lip.

My feet move faster with the need to get my hands on her. As soon as I make it to her and her little friend group, she doesn’t even get a chance to say hi before I’m bending down and throwing her over my shoulder.

“Collin!” she shouts, but I can hear the laughter in her voice. “Put me down!”

“Not a chance, Sunshine.” I swat her ass as I turn to her friends. “Sorry, ladies, but I’m stealing my wife away for the weekend. Don’t expect a phone call or a text, she won’t have time to talk with what I have planned.”

With a wink, I’m spinning around and heading right out the door, leaving the three of them hooting and catcalling.

“I’m going to kill you,” Sadie growls, pounding her fists against my back. “I can’t believe you just did that. You know this is kidnapping, right?”

A chuckle rumbles in my chest. “How adorable, acting like that isn’t something that gets those pretty...” I lift up her skirt, making her gasp out my name as she tries to cover her ass. “Blue panties all wet.”

“They are not,” she huffs.

“Keep telling yourself that, wife, because no one believes it.”

“Collin,” she whines, her body going limp in my hold. “You're being ridiculous.” She sighs heavily. “I don’t even know why I try,” she mutters to herself.

“Good girl.” I pat her ass. “Just let me have my way with you, you know this is a fight you’re not going to win.”

“Are you at least going to tell me where we’re going?”

“Nope.”

“Of course you're not.”

“What the fuck?” I hear Preston’s voice. “Where are you taking her?”

Looking to the side, I pass him, Grayson, and Declan approaching from somewhere in the parking lot as I head towards my car.

“She’s mine for the weekend. So back off.” I glare at him, not stopping.

“Wait, so we can just take her?” Grayson asks. “That's a thing now? Why didn’t anyone tell me?”

“Because it’s not,” Sadie replies.

“It is.” I grin over at Grayson. “Sorry, I thought of it first.”

“I call dibs on next time.” Grayson chuckles.

“You can’t just call dibs on who gets to kidnap her next,” Preston protests angrily.

“Thank you!” Sadie exasperates.

“Anyways, I call dibs on next time,” Preston adds.

“For fucks sake.” Sadie groans.

We stop at my car. Grabbing my keys, I press the button to unlock the door and finally let Sadie down as I place her in the passenger seat.

“Have fun,” Declan says, leaning in to kiss Sadie as I head around to the driver’s side. “See you when you get back. And don’t worry. I won’t snatch you up unless you want to be.”
