Page 39 of The Hood’s Finest: Jersey & Mylani

Idanced in my backyard with my wife, surrounded by our family, and I felt complete.

Even though I was a street nigga, I wanted to be happy and content.

Mylani gave that to me. I knew from the first time that I laid my eyes on her she would be my forever.

That woman was definitely the calm to my storm.

Her energy was everything I didn’t think I needed but soon realized that it was everything and more.

She came in and loved me for me and not for my money, and for that, she could have whatever the fuck it was that she wanted.

My son loved her, and she gave me a piece of herself when she gave me Jerv.

This woman would forever be my top priority.

It took a special woman to love a nigga from the hood.

We may not always do or say the right things, but when we love, we love hard, and it’s forever.

Shanna finally got her shit together, but Jerz still lived with me and Lani full time. He preferred it that way, but he visited her frequently. It was fucked up that her sister had to lose her life for her to do so, but at least she did it.

“You ready to kick everybody out? I’ve been waiting for the day that we could consummate our marriage.” We had sex while she was pregnant, but this was the solidification of our marriage, and I was ready to get the shit on and popping.

“You can’t just throw everybody out,” she insisted.

“Wanna bet?” I sauntered over to the deejay and took his mic.

“Excuse me, everybody. It was nice of y’all to fall through and celebrate with me and my beautiful wife, but it’s time for y’all to go.” The crowd laughed like I was joking, but I was dead ass serious. They had to fucking go.

“I can’t believe you did that.” Mylani laughed.

“Did you expect anything less from the hood’s finest?”

The End.
