Ghost - 4th July 2021

G host rode like a bat out of hell. Volcano had just given him important information. Ghost had called it in, and Rage was about to be attacked. He wasn’t worried about his brothers, but Volcano had informed Ghost of an attack at Reading Hall planned at the same time. He’d told Carmelle, and she’d urged him to go and help the old ladies.

Ghost found the reaction unsurprising. Carmelle may not like Rage, but she wouldn’t want the women and children harmed.

Ghost arrived and nearly got his throat cut by Serenity. The girl’s dead eyes studied him before she disappeared into the trees. Ghost fully admitted shitting himself after that encounter. After helping kill a few Fangs, Ghost heard bike pipes arrive and took a wound to his leg.

He headed towards Drake, knowing Drake needed the information Volcano had just passed him. Drake paled on learning there were far more Fangs than they’d realised.

Volcano had informed Ghost that Fury had bullied hundreds, if not over a thousand, into joining him. He was planning a full-scale war and invasion of RC.

Ghost returned quickly, not wanting Carmelle to spend the fourth of July alone. Ghost now wore the updated Rage patch. Over the last few months, both sides worked hard at repairing the damage caused. It wasn’t perfect, but it was a lot better. The one thing that pissed Ghost off was Drake’s avoidance of Carmelle. That was not warranted.

Carmelle had taken an intense disliking to Drake because of how he still hadn’t contacted her. Meanwhile, her bond with Chance was strengthening by the day. It amused Ghost how Chance was totally ignoring the impact of his relationship with Carmelle on Drake. Chance had made it very clear he wasn’t taking sides and nor should he!

Carmelle - June 2021

I watched as Ghost rowed us out on the lake. Despite my no-sex rule, I was ready to tear Ghost’s clothes off and lick him from head to toe .

Ghost grinned as I looked at every flex of his biceps and licked my lips.

“Hate you,” I muttered.

“No, you don’t. Come here,” Ghost demanded.

“The girls…”

“Are too busy beating the shit out of Chance and Bear. Get the fuck here, Carmelle,” Ghost ordered.

My panties grew wet immediately at that tone. Wow! Ghost’s eyes hooded, and I wet my lips. Damn, Ghost was freaking sexy.

“Carmelle, come here,” Ghost ordered.

Carefully, I moved across the boat until I was opposite him. Ghost leaned forward and hauled me into his lap. I relaxed back against his chest as Ghost pushed my hair away from my neck and trailed his lips down my throat.

My skin tingled under his ministrations, and a soft gasp left my mouth as he sucked lightly on my skin.

“Ghost,” I whispered.

“Tell me no whenever, Carmelle. If you need me to stop, say so,” Ghost murmured as his hands come up to cup my breasts. Ghost handled them carefully, and I guessed he was remembering what Fury had done.

I reached up, covered his hands with mine, and squeezed harder.

Ghost pushed against my hands, and I pressed against him. Ghost moved around to my nipples and lightly tugged them. Damn, that felt good. The friction of the lace of my bra with the pinch of Ghost’s fingers aroused me like no other. I leaned my head against his muscled chest as Ghost kept lavishing attention on the delicate skin of my throat.

His cock pressed hard between my ass cheeks and added to the wetness between my thighs. It had been three years since I last had sex, and I rubbed my legs together with urgency.

Ghost pulled my top off and slowly spun me around.

“Never done it on a boat,” I murmured, and Ghost grinned.

“Neither have I,” Ghost replied as he took his cut off carefully and pulled his tee over his head. My hands instantly touched his warm skin. His chest was lightly haired but not thick, and I was grateful for that. I hated hairy men; it was such a turnoff. I ran my fingers down Ghost’s chest as I traced his muscles.

Ghost’s nipples were tight little buds like mine, and I leant forward and took one in my mouth. Ghost groaned as I dragged my teeth over it before biting lightly. His hands kept caressing my breasts, but I was more interested in the work of art in front of me. I touched where he’d taken four bullets before we met and kissed each scar.

His tattoos mesmerised me as I traced each one, first with fingers and then with my tongue. Ghost held still as I explored the sharp planes of his body, and as I grew bolder, he undid my bra. I leant backwards on my hands, thrusting my breasts upwards, and Ghost pounced.

I was knocked onto my back as he levered himself between my legs, his hard cock against my screaming pussy, and I rubbed against him .

Ghost claimed my mouth in a searing kiss that left me dazzled.

I grabbed his ass as my hips moved, and I rubbed myself against his hard cock. As Ghost kept kissing me, one hand dipped lower and unsnapped my shorts. A complaint left my lips as Ghost sat up and removed his jeans and boxers and then ripped my shorts and panties away.

Before I could voice my displeasure, Ghost dropped between my legs and assaulted the inside of my thighs with kisses.

“Shit! Ghost!” I cried.

Knowing what I needed, Ghost trailed kisses up to my pussy before running his tongue through my lips. I came off the bottom of the boat, and Ghost chuckled. He slipped a finger between them and pushed inside as he adjusted his weight and took a nipple in his mouth. His cock was rock hard against my leg as I gave over to the sensations he was creating. Ghost was in complete control of my pleasure as his mouth moved downward before sucking on my tight nub.

A scream left me as he sucked, and I came on his finger. Ghost grinned and licked my juices as he removed his hand and positioned himself over me.

“Tell me yes, baby,” Ghost rumbled. I surged upwards and fed him into me.

“Yes,” I wailed.

Holy shit, I’d known he was big, but he was huge!

Ghost held still, letting me get accustomed to his size, and then he began moving .

I moved with him, enjoying the friction between us as Ghost gave over to his desire and started pounding into me. Wild cries left my lips as I sucked and bit him, and he returned the favour.

We came together in a clash of kisses and loud groans. His cock pulsed deep in me, and I moved against him, prolonging my own release.

His hands cradled my face, his elbows balancing his weight as he held my eyes before I closed them in bliss.

“Fuck, I love you,” Ghost murmured.

“Love you too,” I replied, and he stiffened in my arms.

“Say that again,” he demanded.

“I love you.” I sighed as he rolled over and gathered me up tight. His cock began hardening inside me as I hooked my leg over him to keep him close. Ghost thrust lightly, and I smiled. This man will be my ruin!

When we got back home that evening, Chance looked disgusted with us.

“We have dinner!” I cried, waving the string of fish we eventually caught.

“Sound carries over water, you assholes. There’re some things I don’t need to hear!” Chance hissed.

I blushed a deep red as Ghost began to laugh uncontrollably .

Ghost - November 2021

This was becoming tedious. He and Drake were heading for a major fallout. The prick still refused to acknowledge his sister, and Ghost was on the edge of pummelling some sense into him. Drake’s own DNA testing had proved they were half-siblings, but for whatever reason, Drake had issues with acknowledging Carmelle and the girls. This would be another Christmas he would miss with his brothers. All because Drake wanted to be a raging asshole.

Well, so be it.

The old ladies were also getting aggravated. They wanted to meet the woman Ghost had claimed as his own, but Ghost wouldn’t bring her. For one simple reason: Drake couldn’t accept Carmelle, and it was starting to look like he never would. Therefore, Ghost needed a new club or go nomad.

Ghost refused to abandon his family. He loved Carmelle, Shannon, and Sadie, despite their unconventional entry into his life. He’d realised that they even came before his oath to Rage. Rage was not as important as his girls. Drake could fuck himself, the two-faced bastard. He’d adopt kids who had no blood tie to him and ignore those who did. Yeah, Drake was in his bad book.

Ghost stared out at the night sky and watched as snow fell. This was one of his favourite times. Carmelle was reading the kids a bedtime story, and the light from their room cast a hazy, warm glow over the snow on the ground.

In around ten minutes, Carmelle would come down, make hot chocolates, and snuggle with him.

Life would never get better than this. That was a fuckin’ fact.

Ghost - April 2022.

“Move, now. Fury knows where you are. I’ve just discovered he sent men after Carmelle hours ago,” Volcano hissed.

Ghost rocketed up off the sofa, snapped an affirmative, and bellowed for Carmelle and the kids. Carmelle appeared, looking worried.

“Get the girls in the car,” Ghost yelled. He ran upstairs to his room to grab the two bags of money he had left and his gun. He raced down the stairs again and headed for the car. Simultaneously, two motorbikes appeared. Ghost dropped the bags and drew his weapon. They were not bikes he recognised, and he shot five times. Both bikers went down, and Ghost grabbed the bags and raced for the SUV.

The girls were strapped in, looking scared. Carmelle was in the driving seat as Ghost threw the bags in.

“Head for Rage. I’m going to give you cover. Do not stop for nothing. Hear me, babe, you keep pedal to the metal. Not even if I’m down,” Ghost said quietly .

Shannon let out a sob, and Ghost winked, forcing a smile.

Carmelle nodded as he straddled his bike, and it roared to life.

“Go!” Ghost yelled.

Carmelle pulled out with Ghost behind her. He raced ahead, checking the way was clear, and waved her to follow. Within minutes, they had hit the interstate and were heading straight for Rage. The traffic wasn’t heavy, but it was not light either. Ghost heard the sound of bikes and glanced up to see around twenty of them riding in the direction they had just come from.

They all wore Venomous Fangs cuts.

Nobody paid Ghost, a lone biker, any attention. Nor did they recognise Carmelle’s car. Ghost shook his head as he dropped back behind Carmelle to protect her ass. The entire journey had Ghost’s head on a swivel. He didn’t even relax when they pulled into Rage.

Gun out, Ghost covered Carmelle as he grabbed Shannon and raced into the clubhouse. Ghost burst through the doors, startling those inside and dragged Carmelle in.

Apache leapt to his feet with Lex and Manny, and they drew guns. Hunter moved to get the women downstairs as Blaze and Jett followed Lex and Manny.

“How many after you?” Apache demanded as Ace jogged down the stairs.

“Took two out but saw twenty on the road,” Ghost replied.

“Put the kids and Carmelle in the kid’s playroom. It’s got bulletproof glass,” Texas ordered, appearing from a corridor.

“Don’t leave us,” Shannon shrieked, clinging to his neck.

“Baby girl, I am not going anywhere. But I gotta talk to someone. I’ll be right back, and you know I keep my promises,” Ghost replied.

“I’m scared,” Sadie cried.

“Don’t be, I swear to God, nobody here will hurt you. Let me speak to Drake, and then we’ll go get pizza!” Ghost bribed.

Carmelle snorted as both girls perked up. Ghost hauled Carmelle close and kissed her forehead. “Babe, I’ll be as quick as possible.”

“Don’t listen to Drake’s bullshit, Ghost, we don’t need him,” Carmelle whispered.

Ghost saw Texas shoot Carmelle a dark look as she remained by his side.

“What do you expect? Drake’s known about Carmelle for months and hasn’t reached out. Carmelle’s got no use for him at all,” Ghost snapped, and Texas frowned.

Ghost looked up as Ace and Drake approached. Drake wore a scowl. The bastard didn’t even try to smooth his features for the girls .

Carmelle

Well, this wasn’t what I had expected, I thought as I gazed around Reading Hall. I’d known they were rich, but this was a fucking castle.

“Bet my asshole brother loves playing king of the castle,” I stated, and Phoe chuckled.

“Drake’s always loved Reading Hall. Come on, I’ll show you to your room,” Phoe said.

“Ghost stays with me,” I demanded, and Phoe stopped.

Her gaze searched between Ghost and me, and she frowned. “Nobody will harm you here. You don’t need Ghost to protect you.”

I laughed. “I don’t know or trust any of you. What I have seen doesn’t recommend any of you. Ghost stays with me because we’re together.”

“Did you ask permission!” Phoe gasped, turning to Ghost.

“Why should he? I ain’t nothing to Rage, your husband has made that perfectly clear. Ghost doesn’t need to seek approval for anything. And if you don’t like that, we can leave,” I said.

Ghost didn’t say a word but stood a solid presence behind me.

“Fine. Let’s head to the Lilac room. It has an adjoining space for the girls, and there is also a panic room in it. If you can’t reach the basement, which is the main safe room, get in the one in your bedroom. I’ll give you the code,” Phoe explained .

“Thank you.” I looked at Ghost and sighed. “I guess we’ve got to start all over again.”

“No. Ace was getting a group together to go to the house and grab everything. You’ll be okay,” Ghost said, holding me close.

“I’m tired of this.”

“I know, baby. Intel suggests this will be over soon. Then we can figure out what’s next,” Ghost soothed.

I leant my head on his chest and closed my eyes as he rubbed my back. “Don’t leave me.”

“Never, babe, you’re stuck with me,” Ghost murmured.

“Come on, let’s dump your bags in the Lilac room, and I’ll give you a tour. Do you girls like jungle gyms? There’s a huge one in the basement,” Phoe said, interrupting our moment.

Phoe grinned at Ghost and me as Ghost suddenly groaned. “No!” he ordered.

“Hell, yeah,” Phoe replied. “You don’t think I’m going to keep your claiming a secret? Carmelle’s an old lady, and the others will want to meet her.”

“Phoe!”

“No. I’m calling them!” Phoe snapped and walked off.

I blinked in confusion as we began following her. “What just happened?”

“Phoe is gonna throw a ‘welcome to the old lady’s’ party. Get ready.” Ghost groaned.

“But I’m not an old lady. Especially if we don’t know if you’re going nomad or joining another club.”

No sooner had the words left my lips than Phoe spun around and her eyes narrowed. She looked pretty mad. Phoe growled, and I stepped back.

Ghost was amused. Phoe slowly reached out and pressed an intercom.

“Eddie, get your butt to the lilac room immediately. You too, Tony,” Phoe snapped.

She opened the door, and we entered a beautiful room. Two children appeared in the doorway, looking curious.

“Mama Phoe?” the girl said.

“Eddie, these are your cousins, Shannon and Sadie. Will you take them to play, please,” Phoe asked.

“Sure. I’ve been told about you and have been dying to meet you,” Eddie responded with a warm smile at Shannon and Sadie.

“Ghost…” I murmured.

“They’ll be fine. Nobody can reach them here,” Ghost replied.

“Mom?” Shannon mumbled, uncertain.

“Go baby, we’ll be down soon,” I encouraged.

Shannon sent Phoe a dubious look before taking Sadie’s hand and following Eddie. I could hear Eddie chattering away, with Tony offering the odd word or two.

“Now you listen here. Both of you!” Phoe declared, rounding on us. I stepped back. “Drake is a first-class asshole at times. Ain’t denying that, I married the idiot, after all. But he will come around. It just takes Drake a while.”

“And I’m meant to sit on my laurels, waiting for the great Drake Michaelson to throw me a scrap of attention? Sorry, you’re very generous inviting us here, but this won’t work. Drake is a total asshole. Even with DNA evidence, he’s denying the truth. I haven’t got time to pamper his ego. Out of everyone here, I know how fragile life is and how your reality can change in the second it takes to fire a bullet.

“I couldn’t care less if Drake gives a shit about me or not. Neither of us needs him, and Drake should remember one thing. He may blame Ghost for being under cover, but if Ghost hadn’t been, half of your club and allies would be dead by now. Because they’d have not known the ambushes were coming. So, Drake can shove it up his fucking ass!”

Phoe turned to Ghost and grinned. “Wow, you got the female Drake. This will be fun!”

Weeks ticked past. We were certainly safe at Reading Hall. The place was so big that Drake and I easily avoided each other. Eventually, Drake reached out, and while I remained suspicious, Drake worked his ass off to start building a relationship.

Drake was not amused when Ghost stated in church that he’d claimed me. Ghost fed back that Drake had almost melted down but couldn’t deny the claim, as Drake hadn’t acknowledged me as family. But Rage made contact and began repairing the damage with Ghost.

I suspected Phoe may have been involved. She didn’t care who it was; if she wanted to tear someone a new asshole, she’d do so. In private, of course, because there were rules. However, Phoe and the old ladies spoke their minds.

Fury remained a shadow over us with sporadic attacks, and, honestly, I was over him and the constant threat he posed. I’d lived with it for so long that it didn’t bother me. Not anymore. Fury could wallow in the shit he caused and die a lonely, miserable death.
