PARTY AND A SHOW

SPIKE

I don't remember the last time I was this hard riding my bike.

Jayne readjusts herself behind me as we pull up to a side alley. I want to make sure we park close enough that we can get away quickly, but still not so close that people from this party see us getting off the bikes.

I'm doing my absolute best not to focus on anything besides what we have to do, but as Jayne gets off the back of my bike, all I can think about is how damn good she looks.

She's wearing a simple black dress. The top is form-fitting but the bottom is loose. Her hair has a slight curl to it and is falling down her back. She even put on some makeup, which isn’t something she usually does.

The woman is a fucking model in waiting. There has never been any sweetbutt who ever compared to her in looks.

"It's just for the party." She blushes and looks away from me. I must have been staring.

"You look good." I admit, and her blush gets deeper. Everything in my body is saying fuck this, I just want to pull her behind the dumpster and feel her legs wrapped around my neck so I can taste every drop of her.

"We ready?" Creek asks, standing next to me.

My lust is going to have to take a back seat.

I've got Creek, Tella, and Lash with me. I don't know exactly what I'm walking into, so I know I'm going to need backup.

"Yeah, let's go." I reply before I grab hold of Jayne's hand and we make our way in the direction of the address.

I'm surprised when I turn the corner and see that the address we were given is a pretty large structure. It looks like it used to be a small mall. Not bigger than a block, but still pretty big.

The five of us stay back and wait for someone else to walk up to the structure so we know where to go in. A Rolls Royce pulls up and a man gets out. He walks to the back of the mall and we know that's where we have to go in.

A million and one things can go wrong right now. I'm on edge thinking about it.

"We're going to need to split up," I say out loud as we’re making our way toward the door.

"Bullshit, I think we should stay together," Lash growls next to me.

"We are here to find those women and to see who is behind this shit.

We're not going in guns blazing. This is a stealth mission.

I'm going to need you to find out as much information as possible.

You can't do that if all three of you are attached to my hip.

We will separate, snoop around, and then we will all meet back by our bikes.

We've got ninety minutes." I give Lash a look that lets him know I'm not going to argue with him, and he takes the hint.

A second later Jayne and I are at the back door and we knock. Someone cracks it open and just stares at us. They're waiting for the password.

"Angel." I say and wait. I'm praying that asshole didn’t give us the wrong password and we aren’t walking into a trap.

When the man sighs and opens the door, I feel a wave of relief wash over me.

The second we walk into the once-closed mall I realize this must have been up for a long while. There are signs and decorations pointing us the right way to go.

I'm trying to move slowly, but Jayne seems eager to get to the main room of the party. She is nearly tugging me along beside her.

It's actually impressive how these Burning Souls bastards have set up the place. There seems to be one main area where everyone is gathered, but that main area has several sections that lead to what once were stores. In those stores, it looks like separate parties are going on.

"I'm only going to tell you this one time. Do not move from my side." I whisper into Jayne's ear, and she nods her head.

Before long, Jayne and I are blending in with the rest of the party. Very few people pay us any mind. Those that do look in our direction definitely aren't looking at me. They are looking at Jayne.

I'm not sure if it's because they remember her or because they want to fuck her. Either way, I don't like it.

"Kiss me." Jayne leans up to whisper, and I'm caught off guard.

"What? Why?"

"I think they think I'm here to party with everyone. We have to show them I'm not."

Fucking hell. This is exactly what I don't want.

I lean down and press a kiss to her mouth. The second our lips touch it's like lightning rolling through my body.

I feel someone coming up on my left. "She's here for all of us, or is this a private party?"

I snatch my mouth away from Jayne to address the asshole who is stopping me from kissing my woman. "She's mine." I growl, and he puts his hands up to back away.

For the next hour or so, Jayne and I walk around touching and kissing each other, really acting like we're a couple. It's easier than I would've thought it would be. None of the pain I felt over the past years comes back. All that I feel is need and happiness with her in my arms.

Of course, along with playing this role, we are on the lookout for any women who don't seem like they want to be here.

So far, I've seen at least four public fucking sessions. There’s a crowd of people around them, but Jayne and I don't stay to watch.

Right as I'm starting to get frustrated that we're not getting the information we need, a bright red light starts to flash in one of the back stores.

The crowd of men starts making their way in that direction. I hear one of them mutter, "Finally, it's time for the show."

I don't know what that means, but I'm hoping it has to do with the women we are here to find.

Jayne's hand is trembling in mine as we walk in the direction of the blinking light.

Out of the corner of my eye I see Creek and Lash walking in the same direction.

Neither of them acknowledge me. They are doing exactly what I want them to do.

I don't see Tella, but I can hear his booming laughter.

He must be talking with one of the guests.

I hope he's having a better time getting the information we need.

Jayne and I make our way into the store the red light is coming from, and I see what looks like a makeshift runway in the center.

A man dressed in a suit with several gold teeth in his mouth stands at the very edge of it.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it's time to show you exactly what you came here to see. I see a few new faces in the crowd. I like it." The man's eyes stop on Jayne and me for a second before they jump to others.

He gives a cringe-worthy speech about how they had to search the farthest corners of the earth for some of the best stock and how he's sure none of us will be disappointed.

He lets the guests know that there are a few who are up for immediate sale, but the others will be placed in homes for training and are looking for sponsors.

"Sponsors, that must be why those girls were in the apartment next to mine," Jayne whispers up at me, getting close and making a show of rubbing a hand through my hair. She’s playing this role well.

I wonder if it's as confusing to her as it is to me.

I nod and lean down to kiss the side of her cheek.

We don't have much time to talk. A moment later, the lights dim and the spotlight grows on the runway, followed by the music going up.

The first woman that comes out seems to be walking on her own accord.

She is in a pretty dress, her makeup is done nicely.

She's pretty, blonde, tall, and has a nice rack.

She plays up the crowd. As she gets to the end of the runway she bends over and sways her ass from side to side while slowly lifting up her skirt.

The crowd goes wild. Jayne whoops right along with them. I squeeze her hand and she looks up at me once again.

"We have to make it seem like we want to be here, remember?"

I know she's right, but I don't want her to draw any extra attention to herself. I put my fingers into my mouth and whistle loudly. The girl on stage looks in our direction and she gives me a wink before she walks seductively back down the runway to go back into the room she came out of.

The next woman comes out and it's more of the same. The people in the crowd start to get more and more into the show.

I'm taking note of the people standing guard. No one seems to be paying me any attention. It just confirms what I've been thinking. They really don't know who Chrome Creed is.

That's good for us. It'll be a shock to them. A surprise attack when we take them down.

"Oh god." Jayne whispers and I feel her go tense in my arms. My attention jerks back to the stage and what I see makes my stomach turn.

A girl walks out on the runway. She has a smile on her face but I can see the wetness on her cheeks as if she were just crying.

The roars of the crowd get louder but I can't even fake it. I'm not going to cheer for this.

This girl can't be any older than fifteen years old. It's clear from her body and her mannerisms that she's nothing more than a child.

Jayne turns in my arms and drapes her arms around my neck, lifting up so she can kiss the side of my neck. "We can't leave her here. We can't." Her voice is weak, barely loud enough for me to hear.

I nod my head, agreeing with her but not wanting to say it out loud just in case someone is eavesdropping.

The MC of the event starts to talk in the background, letting everyone know that this one is up for immediate sale and that she is verified pure. He tells us she'll be perfect for a hideaway companion. I'm not sure what that means until the next girl comes out.

This one looks to be of age, but my heart jams to a stop when I get a good look at her. Just like the girl before her, she has on a fake smile, but I can see she doesn't really want to be here.

The surprising part is I've seen this girl before.

"She's a missing woman." I lean forward and whisper in Jayne's ear. "I just saw a poster with her face on it. Her parents are peppering the entire state with them."

My eyes smoothly move to Tella, who is in the opposite corner, and I can see the fury building up inside of him too. He must recognize her the same way I do.

We need to get out of here quickly before all of us blow our cover. The only issue is there's no way I can walk out of here without those women. Even if I have to burn the place down, I'm going to free those girls from this hellhole.
