Page 28 of Tethered Souls
He pulls up the back of my dress, and his hand slips beneath the boxers to run down my ass. I dig my heels in so I don’t press into his palm.
His fingers trail down to my pussy, and I try not to focus on the inhabitants of the cars passing us, how I can see them so clearly. How they can see me. All they need to do is turn their heads and look.
My cheeks flush, I swallow hard as he strokes between my lips. A groan builds in my chest. My pussy clenches. His breath hits my neck, causing goosebumps along my skin.
“It’ll please me,” he says in a deep rumble, “to lick your pussy until you’re crying.” His finger pushes into me, and I whimper as I shudder.
As he thrusts, I’m tempted to lie down on my back, to take that option, but I’m absolutely certain he doesn’t mean in the woods. He means right here, in front of everyone, a neanderthal proving his claim, and I can’t handle that.
So I stumble towards the car. He groans behind me, deep and feral, and I know he’s sucking on his fingers. My pussy kegels as I go to open the door.
But I’m suddenly shoved up against the side of the car, his body pressing against my back. He doesn’t say anything as he feathers his hands under my dress to the top of the boxers. I don’t need them now that Dayne’s gone.
He pulls them slowly, dragging the elastic over my ass. Dropping to his knees behind me, Varius slides the material down the rest of the way. Shuddering, I lift one foot and then the other.
“Good girl,” he says, his breath hitting my thighs.
My pussy spasms. He’s so damn close. Just another few inches and his tongue could be inside me. He only teased me with one lick earlier, and dear gods, that was one of the best feelings of my life. I want him to eat me out here and now, with the car shielding us from the many passersby, but instead he stands, dropping my dress back down, and bites the lobe of my ear. “Get in the car, Micha.”
He steps back, and I fumble with the door handle. My legs weak, I collapse inside. Khalid settles in behind me, and I try not to think about how he saw me naked. My soon to be brother-in-law. My cheeks hot, I duck my head.
Varius walks around the car and gets into the driver’s seat. Our seatbelts on, he pulls away.
Then his hand is on my thigh, pushing up my dress.
Parting my legs, I lean my head back in my seat. Dayne’s right. I can’t change the fact that he bought me. I can only change how I live with it. Fighting him will only lead to pain.
My hips lifting, I try not to get addicted as Varius fingers me all the way to St. Augustine. Six full fucking hours.
Eight
HIM
As I take the last turn home, Micha leans forward to peer out the window. Leaf-bare trees line either side of our long, winding drive before opening up to a meadow of flowers still in bloom despite it being early February. I park behind the other cars at the side door of the house. Khalid doesn’t move to get out and nor do I. That call I got in the woods demands my attention. Removing my finger from Micha, I lick it clean, then lean across her to open the door. “Get out.”
She looks at me. The car’s still running. Our seatbelts are still on. “Where are you going?”
“Out.”
“Nooo. I never would have guessed.”
My eyes narrow. “I’ve allowed you a level of sarcasm–”
“You’veallowedme?”
“–to adjust to your situation. But that ends now. You will not speak to me unless spoken to, and when you do speak, it will be with respect.”
“That’s barbaric.”
“That’s survival. You break the rules, and I’ll find another womb.” And her father won’t take her back. He’ll kill her for the stain she’ll leave on their Family.
“You’ll have me executed over a simple question?”
“The rules are there for a reason. Learn them and know your place.” The words are deliberately chosen to rile. I need to know she can hold her tongue. My capos are all arriving here next week, and one wrong action from her, one sign that I can’t even control my fiancee, and the allies that have yet to turn traitor will begin to talk about how I am not fit to be Boss.
We cannot afford to be divided when a war is coming.
“My place?” she says flatly. “Let me guess. In your bed?”
