I looked around, trying to find my red-headed hero, but there was a big ass curtain that blocked off a section of the room.

I reached for my IV and started to pull, the plastic applicator popping out and spraying a tiny bit of blood when it exited my arm. Goliath shook his head at me as I made a beeline for the curtain and nearly took it down as I swung the fucker open.

“Guess that makes you the damsel in distress then, huh, Roe?”

There was nothing there—no strawberry blonde beauty sleeping peacefully. Taliah sighed from across the room, picking up the plastic tube I had abandoned and shutting off the bag.

“She was taken to a different facility,” Tal said, reaching up and fixing the blankets I left spewed across the bed and half hanging on the ground.

“Other facility?” I raged, gripping the curtain for stability more than anything else.

“Yes.” Taliah nodded. “Her emergency contact checked her out and transferred her to a different hospital.”

I frowned, watching Goliath walk over to me and wag his finger like a scolding parent.

“Get back in the bed towels, Roe Roe,” he chastised me, using the name he did when we were shitting ourselves in diapers.

“Nah, man.” I threw my hand up, balancing my unsteady body on the wall, squishing the curtain between my legs to hide my naked ass from my siblings.

“How the fuck did you even know I was out there?”

Goliath chuckled like I had said some crazy joke. “The tracker, dumbass.”

When he didn’t throw in a ‘gotcha or anything else,’ I smacked him upside the head.

“The fuck…? You put a fucking tracker inside me like you put in a dog?”

Lith rubbed the spot on his head, looking quite irritated. He poked me in the chest. To my dismay, I nearly fell over.

“Yep, I sure did. When a fruitcake put you and Judie on his ‘menu of choice’ and nearly ate me for a late-night snack, I ensured that you and Judas were always traceable.”

I frowned. Who in the fuck put a tracker in their goddamn brothers?

“I know you didn’t stick anything in me,” Taliah said in a threatening stance as she came over from the bed.

Lith smiled dangerously. “Guess you’ll never know.”

Taliah shook with rage, her blue hair coiled In her dreads on her head like a snake.

“There one in you?” she said with a calculating smile on her face.

Goliath shook his head. “Nah, the last ones in Zee.”

Taliah walked out of the room without a word, a clear scheme up her sleeve.

“You know I’m digging it the fuck out now, right?” I said casually, pulling off the Johnny and poking my muscles for a bump.

Goliath snickered. “The only one likely to find it would be Judas. Sorry, Roe.”

I frowned. Why the fuck would Judas, of all people, find it?

“It’s up your ass,” he said with a grin.

I balked.

“Well, not up your ass, you’d just shit that out. So Dexy boy designed a special tag that goes into the asshole and embeds right on your taint skin.”

I looked at my brother like he was fucking mad.
