Page 40 of Taming a Menace

Instead of indulging in further conversation with me, Key moved my hands from his shoulders to my sides.

He wrapped his arms around me to hold my hands by my sides, then he laid his head on my chest. As he held my hands behind my back, he bounced me on his dick just a little faster.

That was enough to distract me again. Plus we weren’t moving anymore, at least not that I could tell.

“Oh, shit!” I screamed, throwing my head back as the burning sensation at my core started to turn into a fire.

“I know, baby. I know,” he whispered against my skin as he kissed his way down my shoulder and back up to my neck.

“Key, I can’t.”

“Yes you can, baby. Just get it. Get what you need, mama.”

“Yes, baby,” I whispered, rolling my hips to meet his thrusts.

His hand clamped down over my throat again as he asked, “Is that my name?”

“Uh-uh.” I shook my head wishing that I could see his handsome face. “Please, I need to see your eyes,” I begged.

“You wanna see daddy’s eyes?”

“Yes, daddy. Please. I need to see your face.”

“Cum on daddy’s dick first. I need you to be calm when I take this mask off of you, Iyla.”

“I will.”

He didn’t say anything before standing and pressing my back against a wall. His moans were desperate and tortured as he fucked me unmercifully against the wall. The combination of the pressure and the visceral way he enjoyed my body created an orgasm so powerful that it almost ripped me to shreds.

“Fuck!” I screamed as my essence drenched us both at the center.

“That’s right, baby. Cum for daddy. Let me know that I’m up in this shit.”

“I’m cumming,” I announced, snapping my eyes together as I saw stars.

“Who am I?”

“Daddy,” I grumbled weakly.

“Hm? Tell me who I am, baby,” he demanded.

“Daddy!” I screamed.

“Fuckin’ right!”

He kept the same energy as he buried his face in my neck.

He released spurts of air from his nostrils.

Keywan’s breathing steadied before mine.

I was still floating somewhere in the clouds when he released my arms and cupped my face in his hands.

He plunged his tongue in my mouth, and I eagerly welcomed it.

I would never get over his mouth. I held the back of his head to deepen our kiss.

When he pulled out of our kiss, Keywan ripped the blindfold off my face. I felt like my heart plummeted the million feet it would take to get to the concrete as reality set in. We were in the air. Not only were we in the air, we were on a Ferris wheel.

My legs were still wrapped around him. His dick was still rooted deep inside me. Still I felt like I was falling. I had to get out of here.

“Keywan, what the fuck!” I fussed, pushing to get out his hold.

“No, no, no look at me, Moonie,” Keywan said, moving his head to follow mine.

I shook my head. “I can’t breathe.”

“Relax and look at daddy.”

“This is crazy, Key. What the hell are we doing on a Ferris wheel?”

“Don’t you trust daddy? That’s what you told me.”

“I do but what does that have to do with being suspended midair?” I asked.

“Don’t you know that if some shit goes down, I will sprout wings and fly us the fuck out of here before I let something happen to you?”

“Key, stop playing. You knew I was scared of heights. That’s why you tricked me.”

“I didn’t trick you. I wanted to help you get comfortable. Don’t do that when you know I got you.”

“You can’t control everything, Keywan,” I said, shaking my head.

“That’s what I’m trying to tell you, love. You can’t control everything. Yes, I had you to wear the blindfold and headphones so you wouldn’t figure out where I was bringing you and freak out.”

“Kinda the way I’m doing right now?”

“Exactly.” He shrugged. “I’m going to put you on your feet. Is that OK?”

I took a deep breath before lifting my eyes back to his.

“Carefully. Don’t make any sudden moves.”

“I’m not going to let anything happen to you,” he said.

“I hear you.”

Using one of his hands, he tugged my ankles apart to release the hold I had on him. My arms tightened around his neck. That made him chuckle.

“I can keep holding you if you want me to, but I’m going to sit down. OK?”

“Hold me.”

“I got you, baby,” he said, backing up and lowering us onto the bench behind him. “I know you’re still a little nervous, but there’s something I wanted you to see.”

“What is it?” I asked, moving just enough so that I could look into his eyes.

“I need you to turn your head slightly to the left,” he instructed.

“OK,” I said, nodding as I followed his directions.

My jaw literally dropped. The moon was so big and bright that if I weren’t terrified, I probably could have reached out and touched it.

“Keywan, oh my God! That is gorgeous. The moon looks so pretty from here.”

His smile widened. “Not half as gorgeous as my moon.”

“I still want to kill you for bringing me all the way up here.”

“All daddy was trying to do was get you to face your fears in an unexpected way. It’s not that bad. When I give the guy the signal, he’s going to lower us to the ground.”

“So somebody was watching us have sex up here?”

“He can’t see us, baby. He’s waiting in his truck for me to text him.”

“I was about to say, I know you’re not playing with me like that.”

“Now if that’s what you’re into, I can get us an audience.”

“No thank you. This is as adventurous as I want to be.”

“Can you turn around for daddy?”

“I thought you were going to hold me,” I replied. I was not about to be moving and shaking this little box car.

“I’m going to keep my arms around you. I just need you to turn around for me.”

“OK,” I said, shifting my weight to turn around and put my back to him. “Baby,” I cooed as I took in the adorable spread in front of me.

There were chocolates and chocolate-covered strawberries along with a bottle of scotch just like the one I had shared with Keywan the night we met.

“I didn’t want you to miss those strawberries. I tried one at the shower and ordered some for us. They are good as fuck.”

“You did all this for me?”

“Of course, baby. I know you think I’m a bullshitter, but every night for a thousand nights I dreamed of you.

Every single night I fell in love with you a little more.

Every single night I yearned for you. Remembering your light and your eyes kept me going.

I fell in love with you way before you fell back into my orbit, love.

I love you, mama. I love you, my Moon. I love you, Iyla Renee Fisher, and I appreciate you for giving daddy a chance. ”

“Who told you my middle name, Keywan?” I asked, narrowing my eyes at him.

He chuckled. “Nobody, that was just a good ass guess.”

“You’re right about that.”

“Try your strawberries, baby,” he urged, pointing to the platter in front of us.

I reached out and picked one of the strawberries up. Instead of biting into it, I pushed it toward his lips to feed it to him.

“You first. I’ve been eating all night while you were slaving and cooking.”

He bit into the strawberry and nodded his head as he chewed. Who chews sexy? I’d been trying to figure that out since the night he made that duck for me. A smile curled the corners of my mouth before I finished the berry and put the stem back on the plate.

“These are so good. I wonder where they get their berries.”

“I don’t know. It was a local company. When the girl delivered some to the shower, I got her to give me some too.”

“You didn’t have to do all of this for me, baby. Just coming and spending time with you was enough for me.”

“I’m dreading going home,” he said, shaking his head.

“I know, right? I’ve had so much fun here.”

“Me too. As much as I hate the beach, I even had fun out there.”

I slapped him on the arm. “Why didn’t you tell me you didn’t like the beach?”

“Because I’ll do anything for you,” he uttered.

“You didn’t have to let me drag you out there.”

“I wanted to go, Iyla. I’ll take any chance I can to be around you. Why do you think I’m still going to therapy?”

“Because your parole officer is going to violate you if you don’t complete it by the end date. Or were you lying about that?”

“You can never know what that clown is going to do,” he said with a quick shrug.

“So you tricked me?”

“No, I just don’t know for sure. I’d rather be safe than sorry.”

“Whatever, Keywan. You tricked me.”

“I’ll do it again if I can spend time with the woman I’m crazy about. I wish I never had to leave you, baby.”

“I love spending time with you,” I confessed.

“I’ve been looking for a new therapist,” he revealed.

“What? What about your end date?” I asked, caught off guard by his statement.

“I plan to finish up my court mandated hours with you, but if I’m being honest, I haven’t taken it as seriously as I should. I read somewhere that it’s not healthy to date your therapist. I didn’t want to taint our bond.”

I sighed. “You told me you were taking it seriously.”

“I took it as seriously as I could. Now I feel like it might help to get some of this shit off me. I don’t want to dump it all on my lady. I want to fix whatever is broken inside me so I can be the man you deserve in your life.”

“You’re a good man, Keywan.”

“I want to be better for you, Moon. I want you to be proud to be my woman.”

“I would if it weren’t for the circumstances.”

“Fuck the circumstances. Let’s move in together.”

“Keywan.” I sighed.

I loved spending time with him, but I knew it was foolish to think that we could just live happily ever after like he thought we could.

“Think about it, baby. I’m tired of sneaking and hiding with you. I want you around, not just when we can slip away. I’ll buy us a house. I’ll pay for yours if that’s what you want. We don’t even have to stay where we are. We can leave town and start over. I just want to be with you.”

“That’s easier said than done, Keywan. I have to think about my career.”

“I know you do. You’re brilliant, and you’re good at what you do.

I know you’re worried about your career.

You don’t have to worry though. Hell you can quit that job if you want to.

My people have connections. We can find something for you.

Go back to school and finish working on your doctorate like you planned to do.

Focus on yourself for a while. Let daddy take care of you, baby.

I’ll work overtime. I’ll do whatever I have to do. ”

What Keywan had to say sounded good. I would have loved to throw caution to the wind and say forget the consequences like he did, but I needed to be rational. One of us had to.

“Can I think about it?” I asked him.

“Yes. I want you to meet my mom next weekend,” he said, throwing yet another atomic bomb in my direction.

“I think you should tell her what happened,” I said, changing the subject.

“Why would I bring all that old shit up?”

“Didn’t you feel better after you told me?” I asked him.

“Yeah, but that doesn’t mean I want my mom feeling sorry for me about some shit that happened over twenty years ago.”

“Think about it, please.”

“I will,” he said, kissing my cheek.

I had zero faith that he would think about it, but if he really was trying to find another therapist, maybe there was hope for him.
