“Yeah. I’ve never frozen like that before, and it was because I couldn’t stop thinking about losing you.”
“Hey. Didn’t you hear what I said? Tell me what I said, Gem, right fucking now.”
A smile breaks his face, and more silent tears zigzag down his cheeks, dripping off his chin. “You said you’re not going anywhere.”
“Damn right.”
He catches his bottom lip with his teeth. “It was the way Heaven claimed Treyu. It made me think about us. We’re relying on the stargate to save us if you get caught.”
I put the pieces together. Even though I’m not as proficient in stargate use as he is, I know it works by maintaining heart and brain alignment. It’s something he excels at. But nothing disrupts heart and brain alignment like anxiety. He can’t let that snake into him.
“Gem, I fucking love my idiot brother, but he’s prone to trouble. I’m not. It’s just like him to get wrapped up in Heaven drama. How’d he do that by the way?”
“Don’t know that part yet.”
Using my thumb, I banish his tears. They can fucking stay away. “It’s going to be riddled with foolishness and a long list of bad decisions.”
“You’re probably right.”
“At least I know who to beat the shit out of for these tears.” Little brother is going over my knee. “So, have I convinced you yet?”
He nods. “Almost.”
“Almost? You need more talking?” I don’t know what the fuck to say, but I can listen.
“That’s sweet, Atlanta, but I don’t need more talking. I need to be full of you. I need you to make me scream.”
Thank the Goddess. I know how to do both of those things. Using quick motions, I steal the wide silk belt from his robes. They fall open. Underneath, he’s wearing his thick battle belt. It’s similar to human boxer shorts, but tighter without being dangerously constricting, and good for battle.
“Off,” I say, but he’s left to manage with one hand as I nibble on the other.
He wiggles the black shorts over his plump bottom, and shimmies them down his legs, twisting in my lap to do so. Gem’s cock stands at attention, the round head poking just out of the foreskin. The battle belt’s hanging off his right toes. He gives it a little swirl before he tosses it to the floor, and then he straddles my legs.
A hot handprint blooms across my face, whipping my head to the right. I’ve barely recovered from the first before he’s winding up for the second. This time I catch his other wrist and press both of his together. They’re filled with tension.
“You want to fight.”
“I want to beat the shit out of you,” he admits.
Huh. Alright. I smirk.
“Do you think declaring me as yours will ward away trouble’s attempt to take me from you?”
“I don’t know, but I can try.” Unshed tears sparkle in his eyes until he blinks, releasing them to waterfall down his cheeks.
Licking my lips and rubbing my sore jaw, I nod. I’m stronger than him, but that doesn’t mean he can’t pack one helluva hit. I’m not gonna hold back either. He needs to remember he’s mine too.
Pain cracks across my cheek again—same side—and blood sprays from my lips this time. Fuck that smarts. If he’s gonna keep doing that, he can sit on my cock while he does it. I’m forced to release his other hand while I fight with my weapons belt and then my pants, which thankfully have a nice simple elastic band—fuck, am I glad that elastic exists in the Nebuli.
Gem’s moved to punches, giving it good to both sides of my face.
“I need a mother fucking second, Gemini.”
He’s not in the mood to care, so I block his next hit, getting a nice punch to the arm. That’s gonna bruise. A victorious smile cracks my face when I finally get my dick free.
Crack!
Fucking, hell. “Okay, jeez. Gemini.”
