I hand the menu back to the bartender, shake my head, and guide Penelope toward the main building. When we get out of earshot, I say, "We're several towns away from Omoa."

"That's good," she says with hope in her voice.

There's a stand outside with beach pants and shirts. I grab a pair of pants and hold them up to Penelope. The material is soft and lightweight. "I think you need these."

She bites on her lip and crosses her arms.

I lean into her ear. "You're getting burned, and I can't touch you tonight if you're fried."

She still looks upset.

"You don't want me to touch you tonight? Hmm?"

She sighs. "Okay."

I kiss her, grab another pair, and pay for them. I hand her the blue ones. "Put these on."

She obeys.

I hold the door open for her, and she walks inside. I snatch a tourist map, maneuver Penelope to the front of the building, and go outside. I scan the parking lot and move her in front of the wall.

"What are we doing?"

I hand her the backpack. "Hold this for a minute, please."

She does, and I dig in and grab a few tools, then lean into her ear. "Don't wet your panties when you watch me do this."

Her lips twitch.

I sling the bag over my shoulder, grab her hand, and wander through the parking lot, looking for an unlocked vehicle.

"Bingo." I open the passenger door of a white SUV. "Your chariot awaits."

She grins and gets in.

I slide in the driver's side and, within minutes, hotwire the car.

She claps. "Bravo, hot stud!"

I wiggle my eyebrows then open the map.

"How far are we?"

"About eight miles to Omoa. Once we get there, we need to figure out where Tinker lives. It might be a bit trickier with my broken Spanish."

"You speak Spanish?"

"I wouldn't claim that. Dirk taught me a little over the years, but it's nothing to get excited about."

"If Dirk taught you, then I bet you know what to say if you were going to hit on me."

I rattle off a sentence in Spanish.

"Knew it! You sound fluent, too. What did you say?"

"I want to lick your pussy all night."

She laughs. "You're so filthy."
