The water cascaded over me and images of Amore on the hood of my car with my hand wrapped around her neck played in my mind. She was fucking perfect. Would she let me fuck her mouth? Just the thought of it had my cock hard.
My hand wrapped around my solid shaft and I worked myself, all the while Amore’s moans rang in my ears and images of her writhing underneath me played in my mind. Fisting it back and forth, back and forth, pre-cum glistened at the tip.
My grip tightened as I imagined Amore on my bed, her legs open for me, waiting for me to fuck her. I pumped myself from root to tip, hard and slow, back and forth with images of her in the throes of passion as she called out my name dancing across my mind’s eye.
“Fuck,” I muttered, throwing my head back as pleasure jolted through my spine and my cum spurted all over the tiles.
Stepping out of the shower, I felt somewhat sated. Somehow I had a feeling nothing would ever satisfy me as much as Amore’s sweet, tight pussy.
Great, now I was hard again!
My phone beeped and I snatched it off my counter fully expecting Amore’s reply. It wasn’t. It was Luigi!
*Restaurant with Dad has been hit.*
Fear unlike anything before shot through my spine. Amore was with her father.
*Address.*
I was dressed in jeans and out the door within two minutes, fully armed and ready to burn down this city if a single bright piece of hair on Amore’s head was out of place.
The attack was in the Upper East Side, one of the Bennetti’s restaurants, and it took me ten minutes of breaking every single traffic law to get there.
Cops and ambulances were parked everywhere. I left my car behind a cop car in the middle of the street and rushed inside.
A dead woman was wheeled out, her body covered with a white sheet and a hand hanging loose. Each heartbeat physically hurt as I searched for anything familiar. The sheet slipped slightly, and I got a glimpse of red hair. My throat tightened; my ears buzzed and all other noise faded. I had to take a calming breath, the pain in my chest squeezing the fucking life out of me. I had never felt anything like it.
The paramedics fumbled, almost dropping the cart, and I readied to bellow at them when the sheet slid off completely and overwhelming relief washed over me.
It’s not Amore.A deep sigh left me. She had to be alive, well and alive. I needed her.
I strode inside to hear Luigi’s voice reach over the commotion, and my eyes traveled over the restaurant. It was a mess. Bullet holes everywhere, turned over tables, broken glass, and plates scattered across the floor along with blood.
I found Luigi talking on the phone. He was sitting in the furthest corner, Amore by his side. I couldn’t see her face. I had to see she was alright before I lost my shit.
She’s alive. That’s all that matters.
Losing Pà was bad, but I had a feeling losing Amore would be devastating. For me and everyone else within this city. Because I would burn this motherfucking city down until I found the assholes that dared to hurt her.
I didn’t have time to evaluate the emotions and the intensity of them right now.
I strode over to him, Amore’s back to me.
“Luigi,” I announced my presence, and he jumped to his feet. My eyes were on his sister though. Amore’s head whipped my way, and I skimmed over every visible inch of her. Other than a little scratch on her forehead, she was unharmed.
The relief that washed over me was unlike any other.
Though the look in her eyes shattered me. There was a dull pain behind the depths of her green gaze, and though her lips curved into a smile, it didn’t reach her eyes.
“Santi. Thank God.” Luigi was shaken up. Having his sister so close to the battlefield probably did it to him. “It was the Venezuelans,” he added in a low voice.
My eyes darted to Amore, but she kept a guarded expression. I fucking told Bennetti to keep out of public places. He thought his decades of being Don gave him leverage over my advice. He was wrong. Too careless. Too sure of himself. We had more people that wanted us dead than those that wanted us alive. While she was in New York, he should have heeded my advice. It was the reason he sent her to Italy after all. He should know fucking better.
Shouting from the back of the restaurant reached us, and Amore’s eyes shifted towards it. There was a hallway back there that led to the offices. I’d been here plenty of times to know the layout by heart.
“Dad and Grandma are arguing,” Amore muttered.
Luigi rolled his eyes. “Nothing new there.”
