Page 125 of Ruthless Touch
I shrug. “I’m still trying to figure that out. But I do know I’m not where I started. I care about more things than just partying and picking up cuties in the club.”
“Which reminds me,” she says, laughing. “You and Joon need to work on your pickup lines.”
“Hey, that’s Joon only,” I protest, immediately on the defensive. “I have game.”
She makes a face like she’s humoring a delusional child. “If you say so.”
“I picked you up, didn’t I?”
“Okay, not going to lie,” she admits, biting her bottom lip almost bashfully. “Your dance moves saved you.”
We both burst into laughter at the memory of that first night at Eclipse. I’d spent a good half hour flirting with her at the bar counter.
It was its own game of cat-and-mouse. Banter and one-liners exchanged in the neon-lit club.
She can say what she wantsnow, but I charmed the hell out of her. Then took her to the dance floor to further lower her defenses.
…while she seduced me to the point I had a fucking erection by the end.
“Come on,” Elise says suddenly, pushing herself up to her feet. “All this talking is making me restless. Let’s get moving.”
I have no idea what she’s talking about until she grabs my hand and starts jogging across the white sand.
We’re at the shoreline within seconds, Elise pulling me into the water with her.
“I’m not into water,” I complain halfheartedly, even as I let her drag me deeper.
“Don’t be a baby, Rhee! Look at this place. How could anyone hate paradise?”
She’s not wrong—we’re surrounded by bright blue skies and crystal clear waters for as far as the eye can see.
There’s a gentle cool breeze that blows through and feels soothing on the skin.
Andof course the beautiful, strong, sexy, amazing woman who’s splashing water at me.
Her t-shirt is thin enough that when the fabric gets wet, her tits are visible, including the metal little bars that pierce her nipples.
I’m torn between being turned on and endeared by her bright laughter as she splashes more water.
I settle for somewhere in between. My grin turns predatory as I retaliate and send a wave crashing over her.
“Gun!” she screams.
I’ve picked her up and spun us around as she holds onto me and screams to be put down. We both go under in a tangle of limbs, sinking into the surf.
The cool water closes over our heads for only a brief second before we surface, gasping through our laughter.
We sound like children on their first trip to the beach.
I roll her under me, then plant a kiss her on her lips. The shallow waves roll in around us, growing lazier the closer they make it to the shoreline.
Elise parts her lips wider and welcomes my tongue with a flick of her own. Her arms wind around my neck and we kiss ’til we break apart with breathless smiles on our faces.
“Look what you’ve done, Goyangi,” I say, nipping at her lips again. “Now I have sand in places sand should never be.”
“That’s what showers for. Race you back to the suite. Loser gets the leftover hot water!”
She blurts this out all at once, sliding from under me and scrambling to her feet. Her laughter plays like a melody as she dashes back toward our beachfront suite.
