Every hour Gustavedoesn't call me or send a message, my worries intensify. Andre said Interpol plans to send the women back to their home countries, besides Naomi.

They will all suffer and then die.

Dirk and Axel went to get clothes and other items for the women. Most of them don't have shoes. Naomi, Julieta, and Zoe only have heels.

Andre is conflicted. I can see it in his eyes. Something is going on between him and Naomi as well. I try to give him enough doubt so he comes to his own conclusion about what to direct the team to do, but I might have to take a stand on my own and get the backing of the others.

Nothing about this mission makes sense anymore. The original reason Interpol sent us in to rescue the women no longer exists. If they aren't going to headquarters in France, then there is a traitor in Interpol.

My gut says it's Louis. Until Gustave calls, I can't be sure. But I won't trust any direction from Interpol until I find out. The only positive thing we have working in our favor is the longer than normal delivery time Interpol scheduled.

I need to get Emilia out of here.

I can't blow my cover with the guys.

They can't deliver their targets, either.

We need to take them somewhere safe.

The disagreement I interrupted between her and Naomi has plagued me all day.

I need to stop flirting with Emilia.

She's too innocent and young.

My job is to protect her.

I crossed the line. It happened last night when I offered to rub arnica on her breasts. I should have put it on her back and let her do her front. But when she pulled off my T-shirt and dropped her bra in my lap, displaying her beautiful, natural breasts, I lost all rational thought.

I didn't expect her to take me up on my offer when I asked. She threw me for another loop when she asked me to do it today. After she got spooked last night, I didn't expect her to want me to touch her again.

She's a temptress, giving me pieces of what it would be like to make her mine, and how she would respond to me. All it's doing is giving me blue balls and making me skirt on the edge of no return.

The sound of an approaching engine pulls me out of my thoughts. Dirk and Axel get out of the Jeep with bags.

Everyone crowds around them.

Dirk says, "The other guys have the perimeter secured. I'm bored, hot, and going for a swim. Anyone want to come?"

Zoe snags a brown bikini out of the bag. "I'm in."

"Me, too," Penelope replies.

"Yours is green," Axel says.

Naomi hands the suits out.

"You want to go?" I ask Emilia quietly.
