“It’s kind of my guilty pleasure. I try my best not to do it in public, so when I’m alone, I let it all go.”

“Like that day in the pet shop?”

“Yeah,” she draws out the word. “You weren’t supposed to hear that.”

“I’m glad I did.”

I slide my hand up her thigh, giving it another squeeze. She shifts in her seat, her body telling me she wants more.

“Is your pussy getting wet, Emily?”

“Um… maybe? You could check.”

“Don’t tempt me, naughty girl. We’re almost there.”

“Almost where?”

“Here,” I announce as I turn into the parking lot.

“The mall? What are we doing here?”

“A little of what you women call retail therapy. I figured it would cheer you up.”

“That’s sweet of you, Venom, but I’m not really a retail therapy kinda woman. I prefer to just curl up with a good book.”

Well, that’s not the reaction I was expecting.

“Besides, I told you what I want to do.”

“Okay, consider this one for me,” I offer as I park. “I’ll like watching you model all the sexy shit I’m going to buy you.”

“You don’t need to spend money on me.”

“Really?” I ask, incredulous. “That’s what you got out of what I said?”

I hop out of the Jeep and stomp around to the passenger side, ripping the door open. She watches me, eyes wide in surprise and a bit of fear. I unbuckle the seat belt, grabbing her left knee to swing her around to face me. Her hands fly to my shoulders, lips parting with a gasp when I wedge myself between her legs.

“We’re going to go into every store I say, and you’re going to try on whatever I pick out until you get me so fucking worked up I’ll imagine all the things I’m going to do to you. Then when we get home, I’m going to do every single one. You got that?”

Her head bobs up and down, thighs pressing into my hips.

“Good.” I give her a smile meant to soften the harshness of my tone. “Now let’s go.”

CHAPTER 11

***Venom***

Two hours.

Two fucking hours of watching Emily parade around in shit that would be features in every man’s wet dreams. We did tight, short, low-cut, lace, you name it. The lingerie store? My personal favorite. With the commission she’ll be getting, the sales girl will be wearing that smile we left her with for a while. The bags are packed on the back seat, and I can’t wait to get home so I can rip one of those lacy things from Emily’s body. I’ve been hard since the first store, so it’s taking all my willpower not to pull over and drag her onto my lap. I took her to dinner, hoping it would distract me enough to cool down, but no dice.

“You’re crazy, you know that?”

“What?” I turn to her, wondering what I missed while I was lost in thought.

“I said you’re crazy. I can’t believe you bought all that stuff.”

“You better believe you’ll be wearing every single item. Starting tonight.”
