“Which one?” I ask, raising a brow. “The one where you said you’d never hurt me?”

“The one where I said I’d make all your fantasies a reality. Tell me again what you want, Emily.”

I take a step forward, chest heaving as I stare up into his gorgeous gray eyes. “How do I know you won’t reject me again?”

“Tell me what you want, Em.”

“I want you. I want us. I want to be with you, and not for some silly arrangement. I want everything, Liam.”

“Liam!” I throw my arms around his neck, squeezing when he picks me up. “Are you sure this is what you want?”

He sets me down but I keep my hands in place, stroking the back of his neck. My heart constricts at the look in his eyes that supports his words, the one I’ve been searching for my entire life. He wants me and only me. “Take me home, Liam.”

Without hesitation, he grabs my hand and leads me to his bike. I climb on, knowing this is only one of many more times to come. Pressing my body to his back, I close my eyes, smiling all the way to his house. He helps me off but stops me before I can head inside.

“Only one way you enter that house, Em.”

“How?” I ask, eying him with skepticism.

He reaches into his saddlebag, removing a cut and holding it up for me to see the back.

“Wearing this.”

I bounce in place, turning around so he can help me into it. Property of Venom. I never thought those words could make me as happy as I am. I guess this means I’m officially his, but I’ve belonged to him since the day we met.

I face him once more, meeting his eyes. “I’m yours?”

“There’s that question again.”

“I’m yours,” I say on an exhaled breath.

I roll my eyes, but he wouldn’t be my Liam if he didn’t talk like that.

“Em….” He pulls me close, arms sliding around my waist. “I want everything with you, too. You’re my forever.”

“Oh, Liam.” I lean in, pressing a gentle kiss to his lips. “I’ll wear it everywhere.”

“I’d carry you inside, but….” He points to his leg.

“Come on.” I take his hand, leading him directly to the bedroom. He sits on the edge of the bed, gaze sliding up and down my body. “What do you want me to do?” I ask, breathless.

“Whatever you want, darlin’.”

“But….” My brows knit, confusion taking over.

“No agreement now, Em. You’re my woman, I’m your man. You ask for what you want.”
