Page 53 of Renascence
He’s already fulfilled my number one fantasy, he just doesn’t know it. Maybe I should put some crazy stuff on it to see how he’ll react—like a foursome with two of his biker friends. I giggle at the thought. Then again, he might be into that type of thing. Maybe I shouldn’t poke the beast.
I’ll just let the beast poke me.
I laugh at my own joke as I dry off. I can’t tell the last time I felt this happy, this…free. It’s as if I’m floating on a cloud, everything that was toxic gone from my life.Venom, my antivenom. Who’d have thought he’d be the one to release me?
Eager to see him, I apply more coconut oil to my lady bits and pull on a fresh pair of leggings with a long-sleeved shirt. The nights are getting chilly and the cold hits even harder on the back of Venom’s bike. After securing my hair in a ponytail, I grab a pair of socks and my sneakers, then head back to the living room.
“That’s what you’re wearing on your date?” Uncle Jeff asks, brows drawing together in disappointment.
“It’s not a date. We’re just gonna hang out.”
“You should wear something pretty, do up your hair and makeup.”
“Uncle, he saw me at my sweaty and stinky worst at the gym and didn’t care. I don’t think leggings and sneakers are going to be a deal breaker.” I chuckle, sniff-checking my pits to mess with him. “I even used deodorant.”
“Emily.” He cocks his head to the side, giving me that fatherly scowl.
The doorbell rings and I toss Uncle Jeff a grin. “Too late to change now. See you later!”
I snatch up my purse and jacket, trotting to the door. A bearded smile is waiting for me when I throw the door open. I can’t get over how gorgeous he is. Tonight, there’s a gray hoodie under his cut, with the same grim reaper printed on the front. His hair is down and it’s wet. That and the scents rolling off him tell me he’s freshly showered and wearing another cologne that smells like it was made for him. Or better yet, by him, like his body manufactures it and it’s being secreted from his pores.
“Hey, darlin’. You ready?”
“Yeah.” He helps me into my jacket, then leads me to a shiny black Jeep Wrangler. “Where’s the bike?”
“Figured you’d be more comfortable in this. Warmer, too.”
“Thanks. Does it feel weird, not being on the bike?”
“It does. Cages aren’t my thing, but at least with this I can lose the top and the doors.”
“Cages?”
“Cars.”
“Oh.”
He gives me a hand up, and as I sink into the warm leather seat, he climbs in next to me. When he starts it up, country music floats from the speakers.
“Didn’t figure you for a country fan.”
“Don’t let the leather fool you, Em. At heart, I’m just a good ol’ country boy.”
“Yeah. If you say so.” I roll my eyes, returning his smile.
“I do. How was your day, darlin’?”
“Good. I was pretty much a couch potato today. Not much movement.” He chuckles, and I turn in my seat to smack him. “I’m glad that amuses you.”
“Don’t get me wrong, Em. I feel bad that you’re experiencing all this pain and discomfort, but it’s also fucking amazing that it’s because of me.”
“Yeah? Why is that?”
“Because every time you moved, you thought of me.”
He’s right, of course. Everything I feel is a reminder that he was inside me last night. “Yeah, well, I hope you’re not looking for a repeat tonight.”
“Trust and believe, Emily. I know a million ways to make you come without even touching your pussy.”
