She’d been joking, but now her cheeks were flamed red as she nodded, unable to find words.
Right then, her stomach growling saved her, and Seb jumped to his feet and picked her up. “I need to feed you.” he pulled his t-shirt over her head and slid into his jeans, leaving them unbuttoned.
“Oh, you do!” she wholeheartedly agreed. She loved it when he fed her.
Sunny didn’t know how literal he meant when she was pulled onto his lap at the kitchen table some minutes after a dash to the bathroom, a plate of food between them. A fork was in Seb’s hand, and he led it to her mouth.
His loving charm dazzled her so much that she didn’t even question it. She let Seb feed her until she was satiated with pasta salad.
“I’m glad you came home.” She nuzzled his chin scruff with her cheek. “I missed you.”
“I could tell by the hundreds of texts you’ve sent me,” he smirked, and Sunny elbowed him in the ribs.
“Did you hate them? Was it too much?”
“No, baby. You can message me whenever you want to.”
“Good, because I wasn’t going to stop.”
“I rushed home to you, didn’t I? As soon as I signed off on the bike I was working on. I couldn’t wait to see you,” he groaned, pressing his forehead to her shoulder, and Sunny dragged gentle fingers through Seb’s hair.
“I know stuff is happening with the stalker, and that’s serious. But Seb? I feel so happy. Just sitting here on your lap eating lunch with you, knowing you’ll come home to me later, and then we’ll sleep in the same bed tonight. I’m so stinking happy I feel like I could explode glitter everywhere.”
His stare was intense. “Christ.” Then Seb curled a hand around her neck and exhaled against her mouth, but didn’t kiss her. “Why are you so fucking adorable?”
“I was just born like that,” she half-smiled to make him laugh.
“Yeah,” his smile made her stomach flutter. “You were.”
That led to small kisses. Before Sunny realized what was happening, Seb lifted her, fisted out his cock, and dropped her down on it. Then he was instructing her with hot grunts on how to ride him. He mostly did all the work from underneath her while she held onto his shoulders.
Looking into his bottomless eyes, he seemed torn between hunger and tension, a struggle between sight and touch.
She sensed he was holding back from going too hard on her, but Sunny would take any form of loving Seb wanted to give her.
His powerful hands bunched and released at his sides, and his muscles were as hard as wire.
But then she watched as something snapped through his vision, and she felt the tightest grip on her ass cheeks before Seb powered up and impaled her in the most brutal—most delicious way.
It ripped a scream of surprise from her throat, and pleasure went haywire throughout her system.
“Oh, wow.” She exhaled afterward, feeling her lungs return to normal. “I’ve never been railed so thoroughly. I thought it was an urban legend or something in romance books.”
“Sunshine,” he growled, raising her head at the warning noise. “No one has ever or will ever rail you apart from me.”
“I know that, silly.” She giggled, loving his possessiveness. “Who chased who?”
“I chased you.”
“Right.” She scoffed. “You were so standoffish about my affections. You practically ran in the opposite direction.”
“I was obsessed with you,” he countered, her eyes widening. “I stalked you right the way to Texas every chance I got. I watched over you and warned off anyone who got too close to you.”
Sunny looped her arms around Seb’s neck and peppered kisses over his face. His protective nature has always been his love language. Acts of service, too. Had she known he’d been so close when she’d been at college, she would have been overjoyed.
Now she owned the man; he was her husband, so everything fell into place.
“My obsessed, brown-eyed boy.” She declared, feeling smug. And Seb grunted in response.
He was late returning to the clubhouse because Sunny kept his mouth busy. And she didn’t feel guilty about it.
The following days were a repeat of that one.
Every morning started together. So they went their separate ways for work, but Seb would come home each lunchtime and jump Sunny as soon as he got in the door.
Or she was waiting for him to park the bike in the garage so she could pounce on him.
If she finished work first, she drove to the garage to spend time with him there.
Their dedication to spending time together was out of control, and Sunny embraced every passionate feeling she had for her man.
Every waking moment was consumed by Sebastian and the caring way he treated her.
He looked at her as if she were the orbit around which he revolved.
Maybe because they were newly married, they were as attached as possible.
“Why are my ears ringing?” she panted on the living room rug. Their clothes were shambles, half on, half discarded. Seb had just rolled off her.
“It’s not your ears, baby.” He chuckled, reaching to grab his fallen phone. He palmed her hip to keep her still as he spoke to whoever was calling him.
A week of morning, noon, and night sex, Sunny was contemplating whether she needed an IV of electrolytes to restock her energy levels. Her man was a demon in the sack. Or in the shower, on every floor possible, and twice yesterday in the garage against the weight bench.
As he rose to a seated position, his hand dragging through his dark locks, she admired every inch of that man like he was offered on a charcuterie board.
Smiling, she only heard snippets of his conversation as she closed her eyes. His hand shifted from her hip and moved across her stomach, up further to palm her boob. Naughty man.
But Seb was content with connecting their skin while he engaged in a work call.
And that’s how she fell asleep on their living room floor.
Catching a nap as the happiest woman in Colorado.
