Sunshine

In Sunny’s most vivid dreams, she never imagined that Sebastian Priest’s passionate kisses would leave her lips so inflamed after hours of soul-stirring make-out sessions.

But as she looked at herself in the bathroom mirror, her pink, puffy lips tilted up with a smile she couldn’t hold at bay. Making out with Seb was a dream come true.

They’d kissed so often that her lips no longer felt like they belonged to her. He’d left her dizzy and spellbound by his addictive mouth.

While brushing her teeth, she tapped a few buttons on her phone screen and waited for Harper’s face to appear. Her friend was still lying in bed.

“Are you awake?”

“Sunny, I answered the phone. Of course, I’m awake.”

A smile played on Sunny’s lips as she moved onto moisturizer, adding dabs to her forehead and cheeks. She had the phone propped up against the wide mirror on the bathroom counter while she multitasked.

“I was just making sure. Are you alone? Or is your hubby lurking nearby? I need a pinkie swear meeting.”

Their pinkie-swear conversations were sacred, and Sunny would take secrets to the grave. Not even being waterboarded by Samuel Evans, the hottest film star in the world, could get her to confess Harper’s most profound thoughts.

On step two of her skincare routine, she heard a manly grunt as Harper looked to her right. “Baby, go make the coffee.” She told her husband.

“You’re lucky I love the fuck out of you, sweet baby, kicking a man out of his bed not ten minutes after you took advantage of me.”

She heard Harper laugh. The phone dipped as they kissed, and then she heard Harper say, “I’ll love the fuck out of you again in an hour. Disappear while I talk to my bestie.”

“Aww, you’re so sweet,” she shared with Harper when her friend’s face reappeared on the screen.

“Loveable rogues are great, but it’s besties first,” she affirmed, wiggling her pinky finger at the camera. “Now what’s going on?”

Sunny breathlessly told Harper everything in one long, uninterrupted sentence.

“For the past two days, we’ve been making out like crazy.

My lips are so puffy, look!” She put her face closer to the screen.

“But that’s all we’ve done, Harps. No under-the-shirt groping or touching, just kissing. What does that mean?”

Harper scooched up against her padded headboard, grinning from ear to ear. “I gotta say, I love this for you, Sunny. You’re making out with Seb! Where is the big kissing stud?”

“He’s in the garage working out.”

“And you’re not down there ogling him?”

Sunny’s face erupted into heat. “I can’t. It’s too much.” She’d watched him jumping rope like a boxer for two days, and each time, she was so turned on by him smirking, watching her watching him. “His workout shorts ought to be illegal.”

Harper cackled. “Again, I say I love this for you. It’s about time he caught up. You’ve been waiting too long. So, you’re worried he’s not humping you?”

“Yes,” she whined, brushing her hair until it was shiny.

“Do you enjoy kissing him?” Harper added, “No need to answer. Your dopey grin says everything. So he’s great at kissing.”

“The best.”

“And does he enjoy kissing you?”

“Yeah, he’s always grabbing me to sit on his lap.”

“Then you have nothing to worry about, my little nervous squirrel.”

Sunny emitted a worried moan. “You know how long I’ve wanted this for. I got in my head about what I should do or what Seb wants from me.”

Harper smiled. “Who am I to advise you about how a man’s brain works when my man blackmailed me into a secret marriage and sneaked into my bed all the time?

You do what’s right for your relationship.

There are no set rules or time limits. Seb probably realizes you have little experience and wants to take it slow.

I say enjoy every second. Or take the initiative and jump his bones if you’re ready for more.

He’ll get the message. But only go at your pace.

Sometimes, you have to wallop a man over the head with what you need before he realizes. ”

“Sweet baby, you say the cutest things.” She heard off-camera, and then Harper smiled at her husband and took a steaming mug from him. They shared a kiss again.

That’s what Sunny wanted, that fully established relationship. But it had only been two days since their first kiss, so Harper was right. After a lifetime of waiting and believing it impossible, she’d savor every moment with Sebastian, fighting the urge to overanalyze.

When her friends wanted the muscular athletes in school, Sunny had been thinking about a bad boy biker in training with his hand wrapped around her throat while he kissed her lips.

Sebastian Priest had starred in every fantasy, in varying forms, but he was the main event.

Just imagining him wanting her back in the same degree of obsessiveness had her thighs clenching together to stop the ache at the apex.

Ending the call a while later, she unwrapped the towel to finish dressing, but movement caught her attention; her eyes fixated on Sebastian, silhouetted in the open doorway.

Staring at her like the hungriest lion spying on a raw steak.

Seb’s lustful gaze made her heart skip a beat, despite her urge to cover herself.

“Don’t, baby, let me see you,” he rasped gruffly.

Sunny, feeling shy yet emboldened with confidence in how he stared at her, went with what her body wanted, and let the towel drop.

“Ah, fuck,” he hissed, his hands gripped each side of the doorway.

As Sebastian stared, his eyes grew more intense as he held her gaze. “You’re incredible, so fucking beautiful.”

The sound of Sebastian’s sincerity made her fluff up like a preening swan.

He was dressed only in his slut-like workout shorts, the ones that hugged his bubble-butt and outlined the thickness of his cock.

Despite Sunny’s best efforts to avoid looking down, she succumbed to the temptation, and as she was taking a steadying breath to reset her brain from the wondrous sight, she finally looked up, only to find Seb smirking.

A fiery blush instantly bloomed across her cheeks as soon as he’d caught her.

Then he came forward into the small bathroom, sucking all the air out with his sheer size.

“Shower with me?”

What on earth?

Her head spun with dizzying lust. They’d only had forty-eight glorious hours of kissing. Now he wanted to get naked in the shower with her !

Sunny felt the weight of his eyes seared into hers; his concentrated stare completely enthralled her, and she couldn’t look away.

“I already took a shower,” she croaked weakly. Sunny’s mind might be all over the place, but she was ready for naked Seb time, though she couldn’t bring herself to say it. She was too shy.

When Seb flashed his dazzling smile that always melted her insides like warm jelly, a shiver ran down her spine—not from the cold, but from the thrill of standing before the man of her dreams.

“Then you can be squeaky clean.” And like that, Sebastian whipped down his shorts, leaving him naked, too. Sunny shrieked; it was unbidden, and she pointed her chin so fast toward the ceiling.

“Sunshine,” she heard the laughter as he came closer to cup her face. He dropped a soft kiss on her lips. “How many times have you imagined me naked?”

“Thousands,” she answered without thinking and turned even redder, but Seb only hummed and kissed her again. She angled her head for more.

“Good. Now, I want you to get used to seeing me naked in the flesh.”

“I can’t look.” She kept her eyes on his, dying from shyness.

Seb reached behind her and switched on the shower. The room soon filled with steam, and he herded her into the stall, her back to his chest. He buried his mouth in the side of Sunny’s neck, his hands spanning her waist. It was the best feeling in the world.

“There’s no rush for anything, baby. You can look at me when you’re ready to.”

Now she felt childish and sighed, but Seb didn’t seem to mind as he stood behind her, giving her occasional kisses to the back of her neck while he soaped himself up.

“Sunbeam, your ass is phenomenal,” he remarked minutes later. Sunny yelped and slapped both of her hands on her rear end, much to Seb’s amusement.

“Sebastian, you can’t say things about my butt.”

“I sure as fuck can when it looks that good.” And he gently pulled her hands away and replaced them with his, palming the fullness of her cheeks.

He made her feel sexy and attractive, wanted . And that went a long way to calming her body shyness.

“Aren’t you afraid my dad will kill you for touching me? He’s overly protective.”

Seb nipped her shoulder with his teeth. “I’d damn me and the universe to the sweaty pits of hell so that I could touch you.”

Heat swept through her cheeks, and without thinking about how shy she felt, she turned around, keeping her eyes at shoulder level.

She made a noise when Seb’s hands roamed.

He didn’t touch her anywhere intimately.

Each stroke of his light fingertips filled her with excited helium over her shoulders, along her collarbone, across her cheek, down to her stomach.

It was only as Seb soaped up his hands and then he picked up her arm to wash her that Sunny started to ramble with run-on sentences to hide how good it felt that he was touching her.

“This one time, at a county fair, my dad scared the pants off this boy who tried beckoning me to his stall.”

She watched Sebastian’s eyes narrow, showing a little teeth. “I remember that. I waited for you guys to walk ahead, and I warned him to keep his eyes to himself, or I’d spoon them out and feed them to him.”

Oh . “You really did that?”

“I’ve done it more than once when boys looked at you.”

His unapologetic declaration made her stomach flutter with excitement. “Now it makes sense why no one ever asked me out.”

Seb chuckled, and his hand slid up her spine until he cupped underneath her hair. “Guys wanted to, baby. You just had a demon in the background warning every horny asshole away from you.”

Her heart flooded with heat and beat only for him.

Forgetting her naked shyness, Sunny found Seb’s fiery eyes low-lidded and focused on her. Droplets of water dripped from his long, dark eyelashes and onto his lips.

“What else did you do to stop other boys from noticing me?”

“They always noticed you, sunbeam. I just stopped it from going further.”

Her ribcage expanded as she sucked in. “Come on, tell me, please.”

“The first year you were in Texas, I’d ride through weekly to check on you.

I followed you one time, and you were studying in a cafe, oblivious to a table of frat dickwads watching you.

I overheard one tell his buddy that when they left, he would ask you to a party that night, saying you were a sure thing because you were a book nerd and he was on top of his game.

I let them know what would happen to their puny dicks if they approached you. ”

He recounted it with conviction, and it took her breath away. Her chest warmed all over. She should be furious because he’d been so sneaky behind her back. It was the proper reaction to an overbearing man, but this was her Sebastian, and it wasn’t anything she hadn’t secretly longed for.

So she beamed at him. “I wish I’d seen you being all scowly and ready to fight for my honor.”

He only half smiled and shook his head. “It wasn’t right of me, sunbeam. I should have let you live a full life, not bulldozed it from around the edges.”

“You know by now, it’s always been you for me, Sebastian. I didn’t do an outstanding job of masking it. No other boys ever took my attention away from you. I thought it was unrequited, so to hear about your macho antics makes me giddy.”

His eyes blazed, and he dropped his head an inch, caressing his breath over her lips.

It was as though time stood still, and she wondered if he was going to do anything about their nakedness. She had the answer a second later when he hustled her out of the shower and wrapped her in a towel. Then himself.

However, as he reached for a third towel, positioned himself behind Sunny, and dried the ends of her hair, a frown creased her brow as she looked at him in the mirror.

“What’s with the face?” he half-grinned, continuing the soft drying. She had to admit, she loved the caring attention.

“What? It’s my face.”

“You’re frowning.”

There was no reason to hide her thoughts from him. “Yeah, well. A girl might frown if her man drags her into the shower, and then no frisky business happens. A girl might frown at that, Sebastian.”

Sunny even gave a little pout. It only made Sebastian chuckle as he dropped the towel and caught her by the neck.

“What does a little girl like you know about frisky business, Sunshine?”

“Nothing! That’s what I’m saying. I thought my limited experiences were about to be expanded, but nope, you only want to dry my hair.”

She loved him so damn much that when he smirked, she felt the warmth of it all over.

Her smile fell when he grasped her around the waist and deposited Sunny’s ass to the counter.

Widening her legs, he fitted his waist between them as she hastily held onto the towel.

Not that it mattered; he’d seen all of her now.

“Does my girl want some experience, hm?”
