I sigh at the heat that warms my body. I peel my eyes open slowly and blink quickly to get used to the bright morning sun.

I look around and smile when my eyes settle on my mate, now fiancé, sleeping peacefully.

I lay my head on his shoulder and my left hand on his bare chest. I can't help but stare at how beautifully my engagement ring shines in the morning light. It sounds so foreign to say that.

'It's about time you two finally did something.

Dalton and I have been waiting.' my wolf says teasingly, but I can hear the happiness in her voice.

I chuckle and run my fingers over Ryder's chest softly.

I listen to his even breaths and his heart beating.

I hold him with the smile never leaving, it was as though it was tattooed onto my face.

I don't know how long I lay there before I feel Ryder's fingers run gently up my back causing me to shiver.

"Good morning my queen." I look up at Ryder, "Good morning Amor.

" I say. Ryder leans down and kisses my lips gently.

I turn my body and press my lips firmly against him.

Ryder groans and pulls away a few centimeters, "You are driving me crazy.

" he whispers huskily. I then realize that we are still completely naked from last night.

A blush paints my cheeks and I hide my face in Ryder's neck.

Ryder's hand pushes my hair behind my ear and then tilts my head up to look at him.

I could see the lust in his eyes and I'm not going to lie.

..it was a complete turn on. He growled lowly and planted his soft lips on mine.

I slowly place soft kisses down his jaw and then down his neck.

Ryder squeeze my waist as I suck on his neck.

I see my mark on him and smile brightly, it was beautiful.

It was a Queen's crown that had the letter J written inside of the crown in fancy cursive.

The entire thing was engraved in silver.

"It's beautiful." I whisper and place a soft kiss on the mark.

Ryder let out a husky moan and it was one of the sexiest sounds I have ever heard.

I smirked against his skin as I felt him grow excited.

His hands traveled up my bare body as I suck on his mark.

Ryder growls and then suddenly flips us over so his larger body towers over my smaller frame.

His lips attacks mine and nip at my bottom lip, I moan at the sensation of the sparks erupting all over my body.

I roll my head back and pant. Ryder grazes his teeth over my mark which intensifies the pleasure.

I run my hand through his tousled silky hair.

He placed a soft kiss under my ear as I moaned his name which made him growl sexily in my ear.

His hands went back to massage my breasts and his fingers rubbed my nipples.

Ryder kept making slow and sweet love to me.

I felt my core heat up and I threw my head back, "Ryder.

" I cried out. "Fuck." Ryder muttered under his breath with one last push inside me.

He laid his head on my shoulder as we both caught our breath and calmed out racing hearts.

Moments later Ryder places his swollen lips on my mark and a pleasured shiver runs through my body.

Ryder chuckles as he feels this and looks at my face.

He stares at me lovingly and runs his thumb over my red lips.

"I never knew I could love one person so much.

" he says out loud as he looks over my face.

I lean up and kiss him, pouring my love for him into it.

We slowly kiss as he holds me close to him.

He pulls away with his smile that I have somehow fallen in love with.

Ryder moves to my side and wraps his arms securely around me.

I rest my face in the crook of his neck, breathing his amazing smell that makes my mouth water.

We hold each other close for what seems like hours, enjoying the comfort of being in the other's arms. It felt too soon when Ryder's phone started ringing and pulled us away from our time away from reality.

It rang but Ryder made no move to answer it.

I look up at Ryder to see he had fallen asleep.

I smile and carefully peck his lips before slipping from his hold.

I quickly grabbed Ryder's button up from last night and pulled it on, it only fell down to mid thigh.

I snatched Ryder's phone to see that Evan was calling.

I walked to the hallway as quickly as I could considering that I was still sore.

..ya know...down there. I closed the door and pressed the answer button, I didn't want to intrude his privacy but there could be an emergency at the castle or with a pack.

Before I could even say anything, Evan said something that stopped me in my tracks and my blood ran cold.

"They sent another note. They want her. They said they weren't going to stop until they finished what they started, no matter who stood in the way.

What do they even mean by finishing what they started? "

I stood there in the hallway of the cabin, speechless.

It was as though someone had punched me in the gut as this sickening feeling washed over me.

"Ryder? Man, you there?" Evan questions.

I blink slowly as swallow thickly, "Who sent it?

" I finally say. Everything goes silent on the other line, "L-Luna?

" Sean stutters. "Who. sent. it?" I say clearly with anger lining my voice.

"Rouges Luna." Evan told me, he voice hesitant. "Give me a name." I told them but I returned with silence. "Now." I order with my Luna command. "They signed the notes with RH Luna." My grip on the phone tighten and I'm surprised that it didn't smash. My mind raced with flashbacks from that day.

Rouges tackling my little brother to the ground, injecting him with something, and running away with him while I was fighting my way through the battle. Me being too late to save him.

My mother trying to take off after her son but being blindsided by rogues. The rogues surrounded her and attacked her all at the same time. One bit her and caught my father's attention.

He tried to get to her but he was too late, all the rogues jumped on her and killed her.

My father let out the most heartbroken and fierce growl that I had ever heard.

I felt my world completely stop as the rogue leader take advantage of my father's pain and bite down on his neck.

My father struggled to get away but the rogue ripped a chunk of flesh from his neck.

My father collapsed to the group and I screamed because I was still in human.

Every wolf around me whimpered away and the ones in human form covered their ears.

My pack took advantage of this and attacked the rogues.

The leader shifted back and smirked at me, "We will be back.

When we do, I will personally make sure you suffer.

" He says and then suddenly all of the rogues ran away and disappeared into the woods.

"Follow them!" I remember Jason yelled.

I watched has my father withered in pain as he crawled towards my mother's lifeless body.

She had shifted back to human and my dad soon followed after.

I grabbed a table cloth from the back deck and sprinted over to them, covering them up.

I looked at my mother and I whimpered as tears filled my eyes.

I took my father's hand, "Daddy?" I called, squeezing his hand.

My father opened his eyes that were filled with pain.

Jason collapsed next to me, "Dad." He whispered as he studies our father's wound.

"Get the pack doctor here now!" Jason yelled.

"Son." Our father whispered. "Dad you'll be okay.

" I say and try to put pressure on his main wound.

My father shook his head and took both of our hands, "Don't worry my children, I'll be okay.

I'll be with your mother. I love you both with my whole heart.

" He choked out. I bowed my head and let out a sob, "No Dad, the pack doctor is coming.

You'll be okay. We still need you." I could hear Jason crying from beside me.

"Chins up my loves. Alphas don't cry." He says with a smile and there was blood filling his mouth.

I watched his eyes roll to the back of his head and he went limp in my hands.

"Daddy!" I scream and I try to wake him.

Jason grabbed me and held me tightly to his chest. "Shh.

" He said as he rocked me, but I could hear in his voice he was feeling just as much pain as me.

I reached forward and closed my mother's dull eyes.

A sob racked my body as I stood, I looked all around frantically.

"Cameron!" I scream at the top of my lungs.

Jason was next to me in seconds and we caught our brother's scent, but as we traced it, it went cold at a river.

That day I lost three of the most important people in my life and I would lie if I said it didn't change me.

Tears fell down my cheeks but then I let out a ferocious growl, those motherfuckers were going to pay for what they did.

"Do my brothers know about this?" I growl lowly into the phone.

"No my Queen." Sean answers. "Call Jason.

Get both of my brothers into the Alpha King's Office.

Do not tell them why. Stay with them.

I will be there shortly. Jason will be reluctant to leave his pack so tell him I said it was an emergency.

" I ordered into the phone. "Yes Luna." They chorused and I hung up.

I couldn't even say Ryder's name. How dare he keep this from me?

I glared at the bedroom door and went to shower quickly.

I record time I was out of the shower, dressed in a tight fitting red dress that stopped at my knees and had a slit up the side to my upper thigh.

I curled my hair, did a red lipstick and black smokey eyes, and slipped black leather ankle boots on.

I caught a glimpse of my neck and saw Ryder's mark.

It looks like his except it was a King's crown with an R inside of it. I looked away and breathed deeply.

I pulled on a leather jacket and I clenched my jaw as I walked back into the bedroom where Ryder still slept. I grabbed my wallet and my own phone before tossing his onto the bed.

Ryder stirred but didn't wake. I grabbed a pen and pad from the nightstand drawer. I've left back to the Castle. I simply wrote with no further explanation. I laid the note on my pillow and grabbed Ryder's car keys. If he wanted to come back, then he could run.

Around 45 minutes later with my speeding, I was at the Castle.

I walked towards the door and the guards immediately bowed, opening the doors for me.

As I walked past pack members, they all bowed their heads to me.

I just kept a blank face and took the elevator to the seventh floor, the King's office.

The doors slid open to reveal Krista who must have come back with Jason.

I narrowed my eyes at her and walked around her, I didn't know if she knew but Ryder was her brother.

I know that wasn't fair to her but I am pissed.

I walked confidently down the hall and a guard opened Ryder's office door for me.

Everyone's heads turned to me and I looked at them.

I narrowed my eyes at Evan and Sean who bowed their heads in submission.

I walked over to Ryder's desk and stood behind it.

Krista now stood next to Jason with his arm wrapped around her waist. Cameron sat on the couch against the wall.

"What's going on?" Krista asks. A growl escaped my throat towards her which made Jason growl at me.

My eyes snapped to his and shock took over his face.

"Watch it brother." I growled, my voice deeper than usual, letting everyone know that my wolf was at the surface, besides the obvious fact of my pure silver eyes.

My brothers sniffed the air and their eyes widened, "You are mated.

" Jason said. I growl lowly, "That is not what we are here to discuss.

" I tell them firmly. The last thing I wanted to do is talk about my lying mate.

"Then why are we here Jade?" Cameron asked.

I glared at Sean and Evan who still had their heads slightly hung in submission.

I look to my brothers and what I say makes them growl dangerously.
