My companion swiftly disappeared into the depths of the woods, disregarding any clear path and venturing into the dense tangle of thicket. As she pushed through, the branches rustled against her delicate skin, their rough texture leaving a faint sensation. In that moment, my mind was consumed with a desire to leave my own imprints upon her beautiful body - to etch my own scars, and create my own marks.
My wolf snarled, pissed off that I even let her attempt to flee from us. He was still broken from our previous rejection. He didn’t like Emm being out of our sight at all.
“Get her!” he snarled.
My bones shattered, the excruciating pain surpassing that in my wolf form. I could hear the sickening crunch as they splintered into minuscule fragments, rearranging themselves into intricate structures.
When my back broke, I slung my body back. That’s when I let out an enormous howl letting everyone in the vicinity know that they needed to get the fuck out. The elves would be surely hiding in their homes, in their village, somewhere on the property. The club members were cheering and having another beer at the bar.
I dug my claws deep into the soil, feeling the earth yield beneath my paws as I gave my mate just a precious few more moments to escape before I took off. Patience was never a virtue that I possessed.
I charged through the dense thicket, the sound of snapping branches and rustling leaves filling my ears. The earthy scent of freshly broken foliage wafted up, mingling with the dampness of the forest floor. As I moved, the small trees and shrubs magically regenerated, their wounded limbs mending with the help of intertwining vines. Towering trees gracefully arched away from my path, their supple branches gently guiding me forward.
Like I needed it.
My mate’s scent was hefty and heady from her arousal. She was easy to find, and I darted far enough away from her to get ahead. I took the long way around to a clearing so I would be stood in front of her.
The trees gracefully bent and swayed, creating a natural path that led her to a tranquil clearing. It was like fate leading her to me, ready for me to take her as mine.
Emm stopped, panting, a sheen of sweat covered her forehead. The surrounding area was quiet, no doubt the other forest animals, feeling my power, decided to stay away.
“Shit,” she mumbled.
At least she knew that I was near. Now, do I play with my food or do I devour her whole?
“Are you done running, pet?” I taunted.
My mate jerked her head in my direction. “You can talk. You can talk like that?”
“I may be in beast form, but I am as coherent as a human. Is that so shocking?” I licked my maw, letting my fangs drip with venom.
My venom was not poisonous to my mate. I was taught this from a very young age. It was the same for all alphas. The only person immune was her.
I stepped from the shadows where I hid. I let the moonlight cast its gentle glow upon my body. Her eyes widened not in fear but pure, pure fascination.
“Holy shit, you’re huge.”
I chuckled. “I didn’t exaggerate.” My hand ran down my furred muscular body until it reached my cock. “And this will be a tight fit.”
Come dripped from the angry head. My knot pulsed, heavy with need.
Emm’s eyes widened, her breaths quickening as she thrust out her chest, allowing her breasts to heave with desire. She tooka step forward and I couldn’t help but rise to the occasion, the muscles in my body tensing. I shivered as the power of the full moon reverberated through me, binding me to my primal nature.
Her eyes locked onto mine, and I watched as her hesitation flickered away, replaced by a fierce determination. She took another step, and I mirrored her, matching her pace and stalking her like a predator toying with its prey.
“Do I, though?” she asked, her voice thick with anticipation. “Are you sure you can handle me?”
A smirk tugged at the corner of my maw. “I promise you, I will take you harder and rougher than you’ve ever experienced, pet.”
She hesitated, her eyes locked onto the sheer size of my cock, straining against my fur as it pulsed with need. However, before she could back away, I lunged forward, my body slamming into hers with a force that sent her stumbling against the trunk of a tree.
“I’m not going to be gentle,” I warned, my breath hot against her ear as I spoke. My powerful arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her close, and I nuzzled my face against the side of her neck, my scent mingling with hers.
“I claim you as mine,” I growled. “There will be no turning back.”
Emm’s eyes fluttered shut, her fingers digging into my fur for surrender.
With a growl that shook the very trees around us, my muscles bulged, my fur darkened until it appeared a deep obsidian, and my eyes glowed, reflecting the moonlight with an eerie, otherworldly glow.
