Chapter Forty-Five
Emm
Locke was utterly disappointed.
Forced lactation wasn’t going to happen, according to Bones. Through the bond I witnessed his devastation, and I had to make it right.
If only I had the experience of shuffling my way through his mind to know exactly what he had in store for me.
When we approached Bones with my plan, he didn’t hide his shock. I thought his mouth would catch flies, the way he kept it open as I explained humans often took supplements and medication to induce lactation for the adoption of babies.
But this was purely for Locke’s fascination and kink, not for a baby.
Unfortunately, shifters don’t take human medication well. The steroids he gave Locke while he was healing from his rabid statewas enough to speed up the process for his healing, but once he was at an alpha state, no human supplement would touch him. Since we are at the same strength, through our bond, no lactation medication would touch me.
Now, I’m fulfilling another fantasy of Locke’s, and it is borderline insane.
No, scratch that, it is insane.
Grim grumbled to my right while he made notes on his clipboard. “I cannot believe you are doing this. If I wasn’t mated right now, I wouldn’t be down here.”
Locke chuckled, his hands roaming up and down my waist as I sat on his lap. “That’s exactly why youaredown here. I trust you. You know how I am.”
Grim swore, and my face flushed with pure embarrassment. I could feel Locke’s knot rubbing my clit from the inside. His knot was swollen, thick and he has already released his come once already.
One wrong move and I was going to cream all over that Jacob’s Ladder.
“I would never let Journey do what you are doing. No one sees my female like that.” Grim gave a bombastic side-eye to Locke.
Locke chuckled darkly, pulling my hair away from my neck and kissing my mark softly. “Of course you wouldn’t, but my mate loves it. Turns me the fuck on. She will do what I want and will only do it for me. Isn’t that right, Princess?”
I whimpered when he shifted my body; the knot sliding deeper inside.
“Besides, it’s a great way to test the prospects. We already got the one traitor out of the way.”
Locke nodded at the headless body in the corner. The basement didn’t stink; it smelled of bleach and other cleaners, laced with artificial lavender. Like that would put the calm in these prospects.
This was a torture chamber with taxidermy heads on the wall for the Goddess’ sake. No amount of artificial lavender smell was going to make this place any more comfortable.
Locke shifted my hips, and I moaned and lowered my head.
It was both embarrassing and a turn on.
Gods, we were sick.
“No, we are perfect for each other,” Locke purred. “And this is the perfect test of the prospects and their loyalty.”
Locke had already declared to the bar nights ago, that looking was okay when he fucked me up against the wall in a hallway where people walked by, but touching what was his was a ‘no-no” as he liked to say. When the prospects came into this meeting, seeing me sitting on their alpha’s cock, they kept their faces away from me and only looked to their future president slash alpha.
All except one; the one that Locke had had his eye on. He didn’t buy it for a second that this wolf was rejected. In fact, he thought it was the other way around. It didn’t take long to get the truth, and he was, in fact, a liar.
To make sure he had enough evidence, Locke offered me up on a platter; he offered to share me. I knew Locke didn’t mean it, but the prospect took the bait. He stood up from the interrogation chair and took slow, steady steps toward Locke and I, but before the prospect could lay a finger on me, Grim had the prospect by the throat.
Grim took his time torturing the creep; torturewashis specialty. Locke watched, growing impossibly hard as he did. He shifted his cock inside me, jerking his hips and let the seed push into my body.
Fuck, it was so delicious.
Sizzle stood in the back the entire time, his hands draped over his AK-47 and banged the back of his head on the concrete wall, muttering to himself. “Anywhere but here. Please, someone take me anywhere but here.”
