Page 125 of Locke
Locke grinned, not even bothered that Sizzle, who I knew to be another dragon, could smell my arousal.
Journey told me in passing that shifters don’t normally like their mates being on display for others to see or smell. Their arousal, their bodies or anything of that sort. Locke was the exception in all ways, apparently, he was happy to display me; and honestly, I loved it!
I felt sorry for any bastard who tried to touch me, though, because I think that may be when Locke would really snap.
“She smells like fucking heaven, doesn’t she?” Locke buried his nose into my neck, his hand hiking up my skirt. “You wanna see some damn good pussy? I bet you haven’t seen any in a while.”
Sizzle turned up his nose, his mouth frowned into a sneer. “No, and no offense to you, Luna. Pussy doesn’t do it for me.”
“He’s gay?” I whispered to Locke, and he barked out a laugh.
Not that there was anything wrong with that, I was just curious.
Sizzle’s face heated and ran his hand through his dirty blonde hair. “Fuck, no, I’m just. Females—ugh. Just no. Females are trouble. I don’t need any of that shit.”
Locke hummed and shook his head. “Sizzle has sworn off women, especially any second chance he might have. Stubborn dragon,” Locke huffed and pulled away, showing his bouncing cock. “He’ll fall for his mate soon enough when she comes into his life.”
“Fat chance,” Sizzle growled and pulled out a pair of shorts. “Now, put these on so they don’t stare at that monster dick, with all your hack job piercings, or they won’t pay attention to anything you say.”
Hack job?
“Our level-headed alpha wanted to pierce himself,” Sizzle said, eyeing Locke as he put on the black pair of shorts. “I told himto let me do it but of course he wanted to torture himself, and I lined up the spots where he should pierce his tiny dick, but if you look at it close enough, it’s crooked.”
I shrugged my shoulders. I didn’t sit there and stare at his cock. I put it to good use.
As if reading my mind, Locke smirked and pulled me close by my waist, “She doesn’t care.”
Sizzle rolled his eyes. “Yeah, well, if you need back-up. Link someone, we will be around, but I think you got this handled.”
I raised an eyebrow in question, but Locke steered me away from Sizzle, and through a thick grove of trees. The forest was quiet over here, no crickets or frogs could be heard, but then I heard the murmurs of unfamiliar voices, until a taunting voice came through the fold.
“Elena? Are you in there?”
The rapping on the door was quick and my heart stopped when I heard the voice. It had been years since I heard it, but it was like a torrent of memories that swept me up from the past.
“Elena? Emm? Hello?” I heard the creak of the door open, and I peeked through the bushes to see the RV surrounded by men in dark jeans and button-down flannels, like they were trying to fit into their surroundings.
Cars and trucks were parked up the path, no way to escape if there was a car here, not that there was.
“Elena? Emm?” The voice was more irritated now, stomps came out of the RV, and there was the face I hadn’t seen in years.
He was older now, salt-and-pepper hair, worry lines stretched across his brow and a nice crease between the eyes.
Instantly, I growled and the men that surrounded the RV, all armed with guns at their side, pulled them from their holsters and took off the safety.
Locke chuckled beside me. “Happy Mating present, Princess. Think you can shift into your wolf, at least?”
My growl rumbled through my chest, and when I looked inward, I saw the wolf that had been hiding within me for the past week. She’d been shy, almost afraid to come forward, but when she saw my father, I saw her take a step forward.
Her jaw snapped, her nose curled and drips of venom fell from her maw.
“Definitely,” I whispered to him.
I stepped out from the bushes and the men all had their guns on me.
My father’s eyes widened in shock, his face a mixture of astonishment and confusion. “Emm? Is that really you?”
“What the hell is that?” one of his men yelled, noticing the venom dripping from my sharp canines extending past my lips.
