Claude Monet (Epilogue)
Nico
Nico couldn’t believe his eyes.
He’d actually done it. He’d actually captured something real, something pure .
The canvas before him held more than paint; it held a truth he hadn’t dared to admit out loud.
Seb, sprawled across rumpled sheets in the low morning light, his skin kissed gold by the sun, looked like something out of a dream.
Naked. Vulnerable and absolutely beautiful.
A living, breathing masterpiece rendered in sweat, satisfaction, and surrender.
And Nico had painted it.
Months ago, he would’ve laughed at himself.
But here he was—an artist, a lover, an underboss working side by side with a man he was raised to hate.
The Diamond Brotherhood had been a whispered threat in his old life, a name cursed over Black Cobra dinner tables.
But the world had flipped, uno reverse card style , and Nico had landed here.
He padded to the bed, eyes never leaving Sebastian, who had quietly become his gravity. His fingers brushed Seb’s bare hip, then traced upward, soft and reverent. Seb stirred with a groan, shifting toward the touch. When their eyes met, something deep inside Nico settled.
“Hey,” Seb murmured, voice thick with sleep.
Nico leaned in, kissed him slow and lazy like they had all the time in the world. Well, they did have all the time in the world. They also had a huge penthouse all to themselves.
Seb sighed into the kiss, arms wrapping around Nico’s neck as he pulled him down into the sheets, their bodies tangling without hesitation. Heat bloomed between them again. Slow at first, hungry the next.
Nico settled between Seb’s legs again. They’d been going the entire night but he still wanted more. It was always like this with Seb. This insatiable hunger that Nico had to satisfy over and over and over again.
“Nico…” Seb sighed contentedly when Nico pressed the head of his cock against his wet hole.
“ Sí, mi amor ,” Nico whispered against his lips before plunging his tongue into his mouth the same time his cock pushed inside Sebastian.
They both groaned into the kiss with mutual satisfaction.
Seb arched beneath him, fisting Nico’s hair in his hand, pulling him deeper into the kiss, gasping into his mouth like he needed the air Nico breathed while Nico’s hand slid up his side, his fingers tracing the contours and planes of Seb’s body. He could never get enough.
“Nico… Oh, Nico,” Seb whispered as his head fell back into the pillows. With his lips parted and skin flushed bright red, he was a goddamn vision. And Nico wasn’t about to waste a single second looking away.
“How do you still—still want me like this?” Seb asked, his voice so soft and inviting.
Nico’s jaw clenched. He thrust harder, a low growl rumbling in his throat. “Because I’m yours,” he muttered, biting at Seb’s throat, sealing the words with a deeper thrust. “Because you’re mine.” He bucked his hips further in. “Because I love you so fucking much.”
He wasn’t sure when that had become the truth.
Maybe in the middle of their first encounter in front of Caroline’s place, when Nico had hesitated to go through with the plan to abduct Seb.
He should have known those innocent eyes had already tugged at his heart.
Or perhaps it was later, when they’d reunited in Caroline’s kitchen after the ordeal with Bolero.
Or it could’ve been the second Nico realized he would take a bullet for Seb without hesitation.
Or maybe it was now. Here. With their bodies pressed together, slick with sweat and heat.
Nico buried his face in the crook of Seb’s neck, dragging his teeth along the skin, leaving marks, the proof of staking his territory.
“You’re my everything, cabrón ,” he breathed, meaning every single word of it. “And I’m never letting you go.”
Seb choked out a half-laugh, which sounded like a sob, his fingers digging into Nico’s back. “You’re such an asshole, my Nico,” he said, and it sounded like a confession.
Nico kissed him again, so thoroughly deep, putting all the emotions and intentions he couldn’t put in words in there.
Curling himself over his lover, Nico drove into him, rocking the bed as they moved together like they were trying to erase every past betrayal, every scar.
Nico took again and again, and Seb received everything his lover gave him with equal fervor, until Nico collapsed on top of him, Seb’s cum spraying between their heated bodies.
Seb held him tight.
And for the first time in a long time, Nico felt rooted. Steady. Like maybe the universe had finally given him something back. He’d lost everything the night the Black Cobra fell: his past, his legacy, his so-called family. But now…
Now he had something better. He’d found his peace . Home, buried in the body beneath him, in the scent of sweat and skin and trust. In Seb’s soft moans as he whispered his name like a vow.
And he was never leaving.
He kissed Seb’s temple.
“ Mi hogar, ” he whispered.
My home.
The End.
