Page 50 of Holiday Wishes and Tentacle Dreams
Jake wrapped his lip around the tip of Doren’s tentacle, sucking it as if it were a pacifier. Doren watched as his body calmed and relaxed, although he still kept his eyes on the empty highway in front of them.
Doren’s tentacle savored Jake’s tongue. Their man tasted of sweet blueberry pie mixed with the saltiness of turkey and the tartness of the cranberry sauce. Jake was like an expensive feast.
And so they continued on, one of Doren’s tentacles stroking Jake’s cock, another exploring his body, and another in his mouth. Over and over again, Doren brought Jake right to the edge, stopping only just before he came.
Against all odds, they didn’t crash. Doren only had to take control of the wheel once.
By the time they reached the beach house, Jake was trembling uncontrollably, his muscles jumping and twitching from being on the cusp of orgasm for so long.
Once Jake shoved the car into park, Doren released their grip. Jake cried out as Doren’s tentacles receded, but once hewas free he pushed the car door open, nearly ripping it off the hinges, and ran for the house.
Doren stopped a few feet short of the front door and gestured at the path leading to the beach.
“Why don’t we proceed into the water?”
Jake stared at them with a look of absolute disbelief on his face. “It’s freezing out. I’d get hypothermia in seconds.”
“I’m certain I can keep you warm.” Doren reached out their hand, and after staring at them with a puzzled expression, Jake took it. The two of them headed down the path and onto the beach.
Stars dotted the indigo night, and the pale light of the full moon lay like ribbons on the gentle waves. Winter air invaded Doren's lungs, a bracing blast that shook off the drowsiness of the long drive.
As they reached the water, Jake slowed, confusion written on his face. “I don’t understand what?—”
“Let me.” Doren’s tentacles burst forth, more than they’d ever revealed on land before, but they didn’t care. They were here with Jake, and Linwood Falls had emptied for the winter. No one would be watching. They needed this.
And Doren had a theory they wanted to test.
Tentacles winding through the air, Doren unfastened all of Jake’s zippers and buttons, sliding his clothes off and stripping him naked to the brisk sea air. Jake was beautiful in the moonlight, solid and substantial. Lust stirred in Doren, stronger than ever before, and they slipped out of what remained of their own clothing as well.
The two stared at each other, each with an erection jutting out, Doren’s longer and slimmer than Jake’s thicker, heavier cock.
Jake shook his head, his brow furrowed. “It’s freezing out. I should be a human icicle. What’s happening?”
Doren let out a laugh, long and joyous, letting the sound float out over the water. “Sweetheart. You are my bondmate.”
Jake cocked his head, his eyebrows furrowing at Doren’s declaration. “What does that mean?”
The tentacles wrapped around Jake’s limbs, guiding him back to Doren, their naked skin connecting as the appendages bound them to each other.
“That our physiologies are compatible. More than compatible. We are meant to be together. I wasn’t certain it was possible.”
Jake rested his head on Doren’s chest with a satisfied sigh. “Well, I’m not an alien, so I don’t know how we’re alien soulmates, as wonderful as it sounds.”
“We all assumed it wasn’t possible. But if the cold doesn’t affect you…”
“What do you mean?” Jake murmured. They fit so perfectly together. Doren wanted nothing more than to spend the rest of eternity close like this.
“In my species, bondmates gain the physical strengths of their partners. You are human, which makes the difference more drastic. If you can be out in the cold without even shivering, you have to be mine.”
Doren’s tongue was suddenly heavy in their mouth. Something about saying the word “bondmate” out loud a second time was harder. The first time it was almost accidental. Now it meant more. It meant admitting that Jake was the only one, that the two were destined and bound.
Doren felt as though they were lying exposed on an exam table. If Jake didn’t want this, it would be like having their insides ripped out.
Silence hung in the air between them. Jake’s heartbeat thumped hard against their side. Finally, he tilted his head up, his eyes glistening, wearing an inscrutable expression.
“Are you sure you want me as a…as a bondmate?” Jake asked in a tiny, almost childlike voice, in contrast with the his round, bearded face.
“I have never desired anything more,” Doren replied, enveloping Jake in their tentacles and lifting him off the ground. Jake yelped as if he were worried Doren might drop him, but Jake’s weight was as nothing in Doren’s powerful grip.
