I chewed on the edge of my pen as I stared at my papers. I couldn't get the conversation out of my head with Jay last night. I kept going over it again and again. I kept hearing his words and felt my body heat up.

I hadn't realized how hard up I was until I was sitting this morning. I kept shifting in my chair, and my underwear was grinding against my clit. It was almost painful, and I inhaled slowly.

Damn it, Jay.

My mind traveled to our kiss and how he shoved me against the wall and pinned me. How his mouth felt against mine and how rough he was yet how he was so gentle at the same time. It was infuriatingly perfect.

I chewed harder on the pen, feeling my teeth sink into the cap. I closed my eyes and took another deep breath in.

Get it together, Sam. You are at work. You should be focused, not letting your mind jump around.

There was a knock on my door, and I pulled my gaze up, finding Rhea. She was the receptionist, and I got along with her really well.

"You look deep in thought."

"Sorry, I just have a lot going on."

She smirked. "I imagine so with the man you're married to. I was just letting you know we have that meeting later today."

I glanced at the clock, seeing it was almost noon. The meeting was at one. I glanced back at my paperwork, knowing I needed to take a break and pull my head together.

"Thanks, Rhea. I think I'm going to go grab lunch before the meeting. If anyone asks, can you just let them know I'll be back in about forty minutes?" I grabbed my purse from under my desk and pulled myself up.

"Sure thing."

"Do you want me to bring you back anything? I'm going to run to that cute bakery down the street."

She shook her head. "No thanks. Mitch dropped off some lunch for me."

I gave her a soft smile. Rhea was a sweet girl who found herself a lovely guy. I had wished it for her. She deserved it.

I left the office and headed to the bakery. I ordered myself a small sandwich and a cup of coffee and perched myself in the far back corner. I was just about to dig in when I noticed Katie standing in line making an order.

I watched her for a moment, taking her in. She was certainly different, even her clothes were odd. But she seemed nice. She was clearly intelligent.

Katie looked past the girl she was ordering with and spotted me. She gave me a smile and made her way over to me. "Fancy seeing you here."

"I work just a few buildings down," I said, pointing my finger out the window toward my work. "What brings you this way?"

"I was visiting a couple." She sat herself down across from me, and I couldn't help but smirk. I was going to ask her to join me, but it didn't look like she needed to be asked.

"Visiting?"

She nodded. "I was just checking on how things were going. I do monthly visits."

"I didn't realize you were that type of a doctor."

Katie blushed. "I have a few degrees. While I would much rather spend my days in a lab looking under a microscope, I also know that you have to do other parts of work to do that."

"If you don't mind me asking, how much do you know about shifters and the supernatural stuff?"

Katie raised an eyebrow. "I mean, my work is pretty broad. I work with all walks of life, and I've come across many different things I didn't even know were real. Was that something in particular you were wondering about?"

I wondered how I could ask her about the magic and what she knew without giving myself away. I didn't want to give too much information when we didn't know what I was gifted with. But even if I started looking in books, Katie was clearly a smarter option. She had gone to school for years and probably took classes around it. She was the one a lot of people were looking to for answers so maybe she knew something for me.

"I have a….client," I said, choosing my words carefully. "And she broke a glass in my office. We were under the impression she was human, but we thought maybe not."

"We?" She raised an eyebrow at me.

"Her and myself. She's just figuring it out, but it piqued my interest."

"Ah," Katie nodded her head. "Well, magic is very tricky and can appear at different times, and it's different for every person. It can even remain dormant for years."

If that was the case, that would explain why I never felt anything before. But what about the visions?

"You should tell her that she's going to have to just try things out. Once you've used it a few times, you can pinpoint their abilities, but until then…" Katie shook her head. "I can't be of much help."

Which means we had to get it out. I had to figure out what brought it to the surface.

I chewed on my cheek, wishing Katie would have more. This meant it was up to Jay and I to figure things out.

"Well, my food is probably ready." She pointed back to the counter.

"Do you want to join me?" I asked. I really liked Katie, and I wanted to get to know her. "I have some time before I have to be back to work for a meeting."

Katie smiled and I could see it reached her eyes. "Really? You don't mind me joining you?"

I shook my head. "No, I'd love to have the company. I would love to hear more about what you do."

Katie stayed for lunch and told me about her degrees and work. She loved what she did, and you could tell she was passionate about it.

After having lunch, I decided to send Jay a quick message telling him yes to his offer. If this was the way she had to go about getting my magic out, then so be it. Besides, he'd been on my mind so much anyway. Maybe it would stifle the fire inside.

I focused on the meeting after lunch and managed to get quite a bit done by the time I was ready to get home. The drive home was nerve-wracking. Jay never responded to my message, but I could tell he had read it.

I arrived home and found the house quiet. I slid my shoes off and made my way into the kitchen and the dining room. I froze when I noticed that the dining room was set. There were placemats out, and candles were lit. There was a fresh bouquet of flowers in a vase in the center.

The room smelled like roasted chicken and rice. I turned, and Jay stood in the kitchen, setting up two plates.

"Oh, you're home a little early." He placed the plate he was holding down.

I just stared at him, utterly confused. What was all of this? Were we….going to do it? I thought we were.

"What is all this?" I asked as he grabbed the plates, bringing them over to the table.

"I thought we should have dinner. Treat it like a real date."

I was a little surprised by this and noticed his hands were shaking a little as he turned to me. So, he was just as nervous as I was. That was a little bit of a relief.

"Oh, well, that was sweet of you."

He pulled a chair out, and I walked over, taking a seat. He pushed my chair in and then took a seat in his.

"This looks wonderful," I said as I took a bite of the chicken. It was tender and juicy.

"Thanks."

I took in his appearance and noticed he'd shaved. His hair was combed, but it ran in nice half curls. He was even wearing a dress shirt.

We started eating, but my eyes kept watching his hands and how his mouth moved. I squeezed my legs together, feeling my clit throb.

The space felt hot, and I pulled myself up and walked towards him. "How about a dance?" I asked, walking towards his stereo at the table behind him.

I turned back to him and offered my hand out. Jay stared at me for a moment before he pulled himself up. Jay pulled me into his arms and twirled us. He smelled amazing, and it gave me a high.

"You smell good," I chirped, leaning against his chest.

"So do you," he said, dipping his head down. His face was so close to mine, and our eyes locked. I felt my heart skip a beat and leaned forward to kiss him. I pulled him against me, wanting his lips pressed against mine like they were before.

And Jay kissed me back with just as much want. His arms pressed me against his chest even tighter, and my ass hit the edge of the table.

I softly moaned as my lips parted, feeling my head growing light. The air felt different even as he pressed his lips against mine again, but softer this time.

He pinned me against the table, his hands swiped the extra placemat aside as he hosted me onto the table.

"You taste like the wine," he chuckled as he broke the kiss, pressing his forehead against mine.

I giggled and as he tilted his head to look at me, I noticed part of his tongue was blue. I pulled a hand up popping his mouth open. I raised an eyebrow. “Did you have candy on the way home?”

He grinned. “Maybe.”

That explained why his tongue tasted like candy even when he thought we just ate. He’s been sucking on candy on his drive home.

I felt his hands skate up my leg, parting them as he stepped between my thighs. I felt my breath hitch as he slid his thumb up higher, brushing against my tights.

"Are these expensive?" he asked, his eyes not breaking from mine.

"My tights?" I asked.

He nodded.

I shrugged, not understanding his question. "No, I mean, there are only a few dollars."

"Good, I can buy you another pair." Before I could even respond, his fingers tore into the fabric, ripping the crotch right out.

I felt my eyes widen as he yanked my skirt up, revealing my black lace thong underneath. He smirked. "I can smell your need. I could smell it the moment you entered the house."

I blushed, suddenly unable to find words. I didn't know what to say. My throat felt suddenly dry, and my tongue felt too large in my mouth. I felt like every part of my body was on fire, and he was staring at me with such lust.

He kissed my forehead. "Lean back."

I leaned back slightly, bracing my hands on the table. Jay crouched down, and I felt his thumb stroke over my clit. I moaned loudly, feeling my toes curl.

I felt the fabric move, and a new sensation ran over my body. Jay's mouth covered my clit, and his tongue stroked softly over it.

"Oh god," I moaned loudly and quickly covered my mouth as I lost my balance. I stumbled back, knocking into the flowers. Water slipped everywhere, but neither of us seemed to care.

I heard my tights ripping away more, and my thong was gone as Jay moved his mouth, sliding a finger into me.

I bit hard onto my lower lip, trying to remain as quiet as I could. His mouth was something I had never felt before, and I could feel the build-up forming in the pit of my stomach.

I felt a second finger slide into me, and Jay curled his fingers up. I cried out as I came hard, seeing stars.

My body went slack as I lay on the table, trying to catch my breath. Jay pulled himself up with a proud smirk on his lips. I looked lower, seeing his cock was hard in his pants. I swallowed, so badly wanting him to fill me.

"You're staring," Jay chuckled as he unbuckled his pants. "Do you want me that badly, Sam?"

I could be a smartass, and any other time I might have been, but with that way, I just came, and all the blood flowing to my head, I couldn't. I wanted him so badly I couldn't joke about it.

"Yes."

Jay seemed a little shocked at my honesty, and a smile grew on his lips. He yanked his pants free and pulled his cock out. I felt my mouth water and how perfectly formed he was.

But I didn't have long before Jay was grabbing my thighs, nudging himself against my entrance. He leaned on the table, his hands placed on my stomach, bracing himself.

"You want this? All of this?" he asked in a gentle voice, and if I changed my mind, I could see he would step back.

But I didn't want him to leave. I nodded my head.

Jay slid into me gently, and my head fumbled backward. But Jay moved slowly, carefully almost. He made deep, calculated thrusts, and I felt my toes curl.

The air felt different, and that vibrating feeling built up inside me. It was like it was before.

Jay pressed his forehead against my chest. "I can smell it."

His thrust became a little less calmer and frantic. It was perfect and exactly what I wanted. I moaned, my hands grabbed at his biceps, digging into them.

Jay growled and slammed into me harder. I gasped as I came once more.

I felt Jay thrust a couple more times before he seeded himself deep into me. His breath was hot on my chest, and I stared at the ceiling. His skin felt hot against mine, and I looked down at his chest and realized I had scratched my nails down his chest.

"Shit," I whispered. "I'm sorry." I pulled my hands up, running my finger down one of the lines.

Jay's hand grabbed mine gently, and he chuckled. "It's fine. Was kind of hot."

I looked into his eyes, and I could see the happiness in them. Whatever relationship we had before was long gone, and something new was being formed.
