I turn him over and resume the assault, but this time I close my mouth over the head of his cock as my hand and fingers do the rest.
When our eyes meet, years of separation and walls of protection crumble.
Ty comes in my mouth shouting the one thing I never thought in a million years he would.
“‘Only You.’”
I swallow his release until there isn’t a single drop of cum in him, then I crawl up his body and take his mouth.
“Say it again,” I say against his lips.
“‘Only You.’”
I close my eyes and lean my forehead against his. “Why?”
He places his hands on my face so I can look at him. “My agent at the time sent my songs everywhere. It was hard to keep track, and I didn’t care because I didn’t think anyone would want them. Then he said a band wanted ‘Only You.’ The money was good, so I accepted it.”
“Even though you knew it was for Hall of Fame?”
“I wrote the song for you, Mik. I couldn’t see you or talk to you. It was the only way to keep you close, even though I was so angry. It felt like revenge. When the song hit the charts, it was the proof I needed that I was that good. I deserved a place in your band.”
“Of course you did, baby,” I say, hoping he’ll hear the sincerity in my voice. “You deserved that place more than me. You know why the band calls me Thor? It’s not because of how I look, although that has something to do with it. They joked that when I’m on a mission, I’m like a god with a hammer, and I’ll hit anyone and anything that stands in my way.”
I lie beside Ty. My dick is still hard, but I’m happy to ignore it. “From the very first day, I tried to get them to give you a chance. The band was curious, but the manager said no. He was like this wall I couldn’t break.”
“But you had my songs.”
I shake my head. “No, I didn’t. God, Ty. The things my dad did. And for what? I don’t get it. I’ll never get it. Why take your songs away from you?”
“Shhh,” he says. “It’s okay. Let’s not give him any more power. Let’s move on. Tell me about ‘Only You.’ How did it get into the album when you always only use your own stuff?”
Ty rests his head on my shoulder, so I kiss his head before continuing the story. “The band agreed we needed something new. Different. Bastian wanted a soft-rock ballad. Something that would become iconic. The problem was that neither of us could come up with something. At least not something that wasn’t our style. One of the studio tech guys played me the sample of your song. It spoke to me on such a deep level, like it was cutting through to my heart. I didn’t care about the band’s opinion. That song had to be on the album.”
“You didn’t abandon me, Mik. For the longest time, I thought you had. Even though I couldn’t contact you, I wanted you to try. You wouldn’t have known the song was mine, but that was the start of my career. I met Daisy shortly after, and she’s been bossing me around ever since.”
I know exactly what he means. The bossy, petite woman is a five-foot-two sassy and snarky powerhouse but also the most loyal person I’ve ever worked with.
“So tell me about tomorrow,” I say.
“Have you been to Bittersweet yet?”
“No.”
“It’s the perfect place. It has outdoor heaters so we can sit in plain view. You can meet the guys. Five minutes with them, and you’ll forget all about the cameras. Besides, Julius’s coffee and cakes are the best.”
“Thank you.”
“What for?” He looks up at me.
“For making this a lot more bearable.”
He smiles. “You know how you can thank me?”
“Hmm?” is all I’m capable of when his hand curls around my dick.
“By taking this gorgeous dick and sliding it inside me. Make me cry out your name, Mik Nilsson.”
“You don’t need to ask me twice.”
