When the fuck am I allowed to kiss her again?

Isabella
Practicing kissingwith Hunter was a mistake. A great big stupid mistake. Because my skittish omega heart is all a flurry and butterflies are having a rave in my stomach and I’m wet between my legs and flushed and perhaps even faint.
The man can kiss. Like really really kiss. Like a film star, knee-buckling, sweep-you-off-your feet, leave-your-panties-ruined, kiss.
I don’t know how I’m going to be able to think straight for the rest of the night. Or place one foot in front of the other. Or resist the urge to drag him into the nearest broom closet for a make-out session.
It wasn’t real, I remind myself again as we sit in the back of the limo with the rest of the band plus Ash and West’s omegas, Layla and Ruby. I’m against the door with Hunter pressed up against my side and his body is so hot and so strong and–
It’s not real. It’s fake. We were only practicing.
Only, if that was one of his fake kisses, what the hell are his real ones like?
I try not to think about that. Not if I don’t want the alphas to smell how turned on I am right now. Luckily the structuring in this dress means he can’t see how rock hard my nipples are and hopefully all the scents in the car mean he can’t smell me.
“Are you excited?” Layla asks me from the other side of the limo, Ash’s arm wrapped around her waist.
“So excited,” I grin. “And a little petrified. I’ve never worn heels this high.” I lift my foot to show her my shoe.
“You’ll have to get used to those if you’re dating Hunter.”
“You have a heel kink?” I ask him, wondering if this was some kind of set up between him, Kim and the designer.
“No.” He frowns. “I prefer my women in footwear which allows them to walk.”
“Yeah, Hunter will have you in hiking boots as soon as he can,” Ash says.
“I was talking about how tall he is,” Layla giggles. “If you’re not into the heels, you must need a step ladder to kiss the dude.”
“We manage,” I say, a smile curling my lips. Hunter’s gaze rests on my face, making my skin all tingly.
“Sounds hot!” Layla says.
“Stop digging for details,” Hunter tells her, taking my hand in his.
“You can’t blame us!” Layla smiles at us both. “You never usually date anyone nice.”
“Urgh, I don’t think I want to be labeled as nice,” I insist.
Hunter turns to look at me and I swear mischief twinkles in those pale blue eyes of his. “I can assure you Isabella is not nice. In fact, she’s horrid.”
“And now I understand why you’re dating her.” Ash winks at me.
I squeeze Hunter’s hand in retaliation but he’s as solid as a boulder so I doubt he even notices. Then before I know it, the limo is slowing down, passing crowds of people jostling behind makeshift barriers, waving their phones above their heads.
“We’re here,” Hunter whispers in my ear, his warm breath tickling my skin. “Are you ready?”
“You bet!” I say, ignoring the excitable butterflies fighting with the nausea in my stomach. I haven’t been this excited/nervous since my prom and I’m trying to forget how that night had ended with me puking in the street.
The car continues to weave through the crowds and finally stops in front of a gap in the people. Beyond the window I can see a wide red carpet leading up to the Stellar Theater, stars and celebrities already making their ways towards the entrance, flashlights popping from cameras and TV presenters waving their arms about, trying to grab an interview.
The limo doors open and the others slide out first.
“Remember to keep your knees together,” Ruby offers me over her shoulder, “you don’t want a pantie shot!”
