“W hoa,” River mutters, his eyes as wide as mine. “Shit, sorry. I didn’t mean to interrupt.”

Sully smiles, “No problem. Where was I?” he pauses for a moment, “Ah yes. So that is where the plan came in. It was extremely complicated and as you already know Wynonna channeled the power of the gods for the silencing spell on the,” he pauses and then curses, “damn, I was hoping that I would be able to tell you about him as well.”

“Huh?” Coen asks.

“The Blue Fucker, remember we mentioned the vision that we all got pulled into in Ireland?” Reed reminds.

“Right,” Coen replies.

“Anyway, Wynonna also channeled the Gods to create the spells for you. There was the silencing one that we all took immediately, that covered the knowledge that you would exist, and the plan itself. It was decided that after your fifth birthday, you would travel to the Earth Realm, where Evander’s parents were going to be.

We didn’t know why they were going to be there, but yet again, we could only know so much without it affecting the natural timeline too much, and upsetting the balance.

“We also knew that your parents, closest friends, along with me, Earnie, Draith, Murray, Ty, and Ahren, would all be in the Earth Realm as well, and we were charged with helping to keep you safe, and most importantly, hidden. None of us understood why Kyrous wasn’t included in that, but of course, we now know that it’s because he died before the gates got closed.

“It wasn’t until later that we found out Trieneliea’s gates were going to be closed, and no one would be able to open them again.

We were then informed that because of the strength of the magic that would be keeping the gates closed, Wynonna wouldn’t be able to open a portal, and so we would need the help of the Gods again.

It was emphasized very heavily that you were to go through the portal by yourself.

That there wasn’t enough magic to send more than just you,” he smiles, and shakes his head, as memories dance through his eyes.

“Of course, I wasn’t there, but I spoke to your father.

Wynonna, your mother, and father, were not happy with that plan, and they devised their own.

After an extremely long and emotional discussion, it was decided that your father would be the one to go through with you.

“He was a Sicarius, and he was capable of protecting you in ways that your mother couldn’t.

As much as she hated it, your mother was also needed in Trieneliea, If she left, then so would her magic, and her magic was the only thing powering the wards that were erected over as many cities that she could manage, and were the only things keeping the Blue Fucker’s abominations out.

“They arranged it all, and the amount of added magic that Wynonna would have to put in nearly killed her.

The God showed up, and instead of just you going through the portal, your father jumped through with you.

There was no way that they could open it again, it was a one-time thing, and the God, along with Wynonna, were too weak to even attempt to do it again.

“The Gods are cantankerous bastards, though, and also knew things that we didn’t.

They said that there was a reason why he couldn’t be with you.

Eamon, Calia, and your father, all tried to reason with the Gods.

They suggested you both go into hiding, and multiple other things that were all turned down.

In the end, it was agreed that the safest thing for you was for the plan to go ahead as it was supposed to.

You were to stay with Eamon and Calia. The Gods were so pissed that your father had gone against them, that he was forced to take your memories from before you arrived, and also told that he had to stay away from you like he would have if you had come over by yourself.

“I’m not sure what they threatened him with, or what they told him, but it was enough to know that you were safer with Eamon and Calia.

He was absolutely distraught, and we all felt it.

He was forced to go into hiding, and told that under no circumstances was anyone to know that he was here, the fate of the realms depended on everything happening exactly how it was supposed to, and that he’d already messed that up by coming through the portal too.

” Sully finishes explaining, and I just sit there staring at him in absolute shock.

That was a lot of information.

I was born in Trieneliea?

More importantly to me, it’s clear that I was very loved.

“Fate of the Realms?” I ask, as what he’s said sinks in.

Sully’s eyebrows pull down over his eyes in a heavy frown, “Yes, they never quite explained that one.”

“Of course they didn’t,” Raiden mutters, entirely unsurprised by the revelation.

“How did my father manage to talk to me and things then? I mean, he helped me buy a house,” I ask.

Sully grins, “Your father was very good at finding loopholes, and I imagine that since you were no longer a child, so long as he didn’t tell you who he was to you, and still kept some sort of distance, that was enough to appease the Gods.

You have to remember what he was. When it really comes down to it, the Gods are fucking terrified of him and want to keep him on their side to a certain extent. ”

I return Sully’s smile with one of my own, “That is so fucking cool. So no one has seen him since he dropped me off?”

Sully shakes his head, “No. Well, I haven’t, and I know that Draith and Earnie haven’t. I’m not sure about the others, but if anyone had heard from him after that night, then it would have been Eamon and Calia. They were the ones that were entrusted with you.”

I nod, “Okay. Thank you for telling me, Sully. I’m going to go and find Pete at some point, but I needed to hear what you knew first.”

“Pete?” Sully asks.

“Yeah, that’s what he called himself,” I reply and then add, “I take it that isn’t his name?”

Sully shakes his head, looking amused as he replies, “Not even close, his name is Bhaltair.”

I pull a face, “Okay, so really nothing like his actual name then.”

Sully shakes his head, “Nope.” He looks down at his watch and then frowns, “I’m really sorry, guys, but Draith is on his way over.

He needed to talk to me before the pub opens.

It would probably be best if you guys weren’t here when he turns up.

If he sees Coen, then he will have no choice but to call him back to the Keep, and if he sees any of you, then by dragon law, you will be under obligation to bring Coen in. ”

“Ah shit,” I curse as I stand up. “Yeah, let’s not risk that. We had a couple more things that we wanted to ask you.”

“If you can do it quickly, then ask away,” Sully replies, “or come and see me again.”

“Do you know if it’s normal for supernaturals to be able to hear a dragon’s thoughts when they’re flying with them?” Coen asks outright.

Sully’s expression fills with surprise, “Who can hear your thoughts?”

“Neith,” Coen replies.

“Huh,” Sully replies, his shock turning into confusion. “I’m not quite sure if I’m honest. As you know, the dragons don’t really share information. Not even when they’re drunk.”

I smirk, “You’ve tried to get information out of Draith when he’s been drunk, haven’t you?”

Sully pulls a face, “Of course I have.”

Coen shrugs, “Thanks anyway. I’ll just have to ask Draith when he calls me back to the Keep. It’s not like it’s a bad thing.”

Sully smiles, “I’ll ask him about it when he comes in if I get the chance, but I doubt that he will tell me anything.”

He stands up and holds his arms open for me, as he hugs me tightly, he mutters, “I am so fucking glad that you know who your parents are. I know we barely scratched the surface of who they are, but I can talk to you now, and that’s the main thing.”

“Thanks, Sully,” I reply as I step back. “To be honest, I’m not sure that I could have handled much more than that today. I mean, I was a part of a freaking prophecy, that’s insane.”

“There was that other one,” Griff reminds me.

“Oh shit. I had completely forgotten about that one. Did we even look into it?” I ask, my mind is frazzled, and I have no idea if we did or not.

Raiden shakes his head, “Nope. But I don’t think it needs to be a priority.

I can’t remember it word for word, but I think it’s likely that it was referring to the Choosing.

If something else happens, then we will obviously look back into it, but there are other things that need our attention more. ”

“Agreed,” Evander says.

“I think that’s probably best. I know that Prophecies seem to be a big thing in the Earth Realm, but they were a daily occurrence in Trieneliea, and half of them never came to be.

Like Raiden has said, unless another one pops up from somewhere, I wouldn’t worry about focusing on that one. ” Sully agrees.

“Thanks again, Sully,” River replies.

Sully nods, his smile dropping into a frown, “You need to be careful. I spoke to Ahren, and his beta is asking a lot of questions. There is a chance that you’re going to get called to go there as well.”

“He’s a dick,” I mutter, and then clarify, “the Beta, not Ahren.”

“Yeah, he is, but just like the dragons, there are laws that the shifters have to abide by. Although the shifters follow them more loosely,” Sully replies.

River shrugs, not looking nearly as bothered as I think he should, as he says, “Honestly, it’s okay. I suspected that it might happen. If it does, I’ll deal with it.”

“We will,” Ransom reminds him.

River grins, “Exactly, we will.”

“Good,” Sully replies. He looks at his watch again. “I’m really sorry, but you guys really need to get going.”

I grin, “We’re going.”

We’re silent as we push our way through the now busy bar and back to the van.

“Well, that was an info dump,” Griff says as soon as we’re back outside the house.

“That might be downplaying it a bit,” I reply, making the guys chuckle.

“So, what’s the plan?” Coen asks as we walk into the kitchen. “Is there a plan?”
