“You’re gorgeous,” Callum whispered, standing.
He walked towards Dylan, slowly at first but then faster for the last couple of strides. He caught hold of Dylan’s face and kissed him, briefly taking the lead before letting Dylan take over.
“So are you, baby,” Dylan assured him. “Shall we go to bed?”
Callum nodded, but didn’t move. “Should I…” He licked his lips. “Get undressed too?”
“Whatever you feel comfortable with, baby.”
Callum stepped back and fumbled with his clothes. It was cute and endearing to watch, but as much as he wanted to, Dylan didn’t intervene. What he did do was ogle Tattoo Boy’s lean chest once he’d taken his T-shirt off. When Callum tugged his black jeans off, Dylan let his stare slide over his gorgeous legs.
“Beautiful, baby,” he breathed, once Callum was standing in front of him with nothing but his underwear on. “Bed?”
He wanted to do a lot more than kiss and cuddle, but he wouldn’t. There was no way he was going to do anything to hurt this stunning, fragile boy who had put his trust in him. No one had ever made themselves so vulnerable for him before; it was humbling.
They climbed into bed and snuggled under the quilt together, trading kisses until they were both so tired that they were yawning more than kissing. Then they laid still, stroking each other’s sides and chests.
Callum fell asleep first, his leg and arm sprawled over Dylan’s body. His breathing was soft and gentle. As Dylan stroked his hair, he gazed at the beautiful creature in bed with him. He marvelled at how his attitude towards guys and relationships had changed so fast. A few days ago, he’d been convinced he’d never want anything more than a quick fuck because there was no way he would risk his heart for anyone. And then Callum had walked into his life, instantly claiming Dylan’s heart as his own without even meaning to. He was on a scary and exhilarating ride and he longed to know what the ultimate destination would be.
