Kyrone laughed. “In lust, more like. I didn’t think serious was your style?”
“It’s not. You’re right, I just want to fuck him.”
“Is that where you’ve been?” Hunter asked. “Chatting up poor, unsuspecting barmen?”
“Trying to.” Dylan pouted. “He said he wasn’t interested.”
“He’s obviously got good taste then.
Dylan curled his lip at Hunter. “He didn’t even give me a chance.”
“It’s pretty obvious he’s not interested then,” Hunter said. “Move on.”
“We’re going to the Vibe tomorrow,” Kyrone reminded him. “I’m sure you’ll hook up with someone there.”
“You normally do,” Hunter added as he won the round.
That was true. It was unusual for Dylan not to take a guy home, but there was something about Tattoo Boy that called to him. The rejection cut deep, but he wasn’t quite ready to give up.
“Does anyone even know his name?” he asked.
“Callum,” Kyrone said.
“Youknowhim?”
“I met him earlier today. Jared brought him to lunch.”
Dylan gasped as dramatically as he could. “And you were going to keep him a secret?”
“Hardly!”
Dylan stood and then wedged himself between Jag and Kyrone.
“Hey!” Jag complained. “There’s not enough room for all of us.”
“I’m only small,” Dylan pointed out.
“I’m not,” Kyrone said.
Dylan turned to Jag. “Do me a favour, darling? Move so I can talk to Kyrone?”
Jag rolled his eyes. “Don’t forget we’ll be back on stage soon.” He got up and disappeared into the toilets.
“Tell me everything,” Dylan said, patting Kyrone’s thigh.
“There’s not much to tell. Like I said, I met him today. Jared barely knows him, but he seems like a nice guy. He was looking for a job, so I introduced him to Michael.”
“How did Jared meet him?”
“His uncle works at Ink Envy.”
Dylan pursed his lips as he tried to decide which of the two male tattoo artists looked most like Callum—Liam or Ezra. “Ezra?” he asked a few moments later.
“Yeah, that’s the guy.” Kyrone stood and stretched. “Break’s practically over. Are you ready for another set?”
Dylan ran his fingers through his short curls and then tossed his head, as though he were in a shampoo commercial. “I’malwaysready.”
Laughing, Kyrone shook his head. “The crowd’s a bit hard to please tonight. The three of us need to bring our A game.”
