Gina walks down the hall toward the elevator. She’s trying to swing her hips seductively but she’s got nothing on Rosa. The swaying seems forced, whereas for Rosa, seductive, sensual movements come naturally.
The instant the elevator shuts, before I can even exhale in relief, Rosa stalks in, wearing only panties. When I see her naked breasts jiggling on her chest my cock becomes rock hard.
I start walking toward her but then I see the storm on her face.
“Stop,” she says.
Uncharacteristically, I obey. I guess because I feel like a kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar.
“Who was that?” she asks.
“No one,” I lie. Then think better of it. “Gina. From the fundraiser. You met her.”
Rosa considers for a moment. “Yes. I remember her. The one who tried to pick you up in front of me. Gave you her card. Did you call her or something?”
“No, she just showed up,” I tell her. “She had a key.”
“A fucking key?” Rosa asks. “Why the fuck would she give you her card if she had a key?” She shakes her head. “Never mind. How many other women havekeysto this place?”
I ignore the question and tell her instead: “I made her give it back.”
Rosa crosses her arms over her breasts. Probably a good thing, since they were distracting me big time. “You want to fuck her, don’t you?” Her eyes momentarily dart to my underwear. “She was right. You did want her.”
I glance down at my bulge. “This is for you.”
“Bullshit.”
I raise my palms. “Look. Stop acting like this is a big deal. She means nothing to me. I’m serious.”
“What did she want?” Rosa asks.
So Rosa didn’t hear everything. Not sure if that’s good or bad.
I hesitate. I really don’t have to tell her. It’s none of her business. But I suppose I should. She’s my wife, after all. I need her or my alliance is fucked.
“She said she could arrange a meeting between me and the Jackal,” I explain. “In exchange she wanted me to fuck her. I said no.”
Rosa stares at me, the doubt obvious on her features. “You’re going to do it, though, at some point, aren’t you? You want the Jackal. You also want to fuck her.”
“I don’t,” I tell her solemnly. I hope she can see the truth in my eyes. “I’ll find him another way. I’m not sure I even want, orneed, a meeting with him at the moment. My concern is protecting you.”
“Protecting me,” she says. “Bullshit.” She ducks back into the bedroom. “You only want to protect your alliance!”
I go to her, but she slams the door and locks it from inside.
I feel the anger rising inside me. “Rosa, open up the fucking door.”
She doesn’t answer.
I slam my body into it. Doesn’t budge. I kick the door in at the handle. Hard. Still won’t open.
It’s my fault for replacing the inner wooden frame with metal to prevent just such an occurrence. The door won’t open until it’s unlocked.
I’m so pissed my hands are shaking. I can’t stand that she won’t believe me.
To calm down, I stalk to the elevator and begin reprogramming the code. This way, even if Gina has made a copy of the physical key, she won’t be able to return.
Also, if the Jackal is allied with Pietro, and she’s fucking Pietro, then she’s a weak link. She could give the Jackal entry straight into my personal domain. Something I won’t risk. I suppose I should be thankful Gina warned me, even if that wasn’t her intent.
